    I signed a lease for alpine village August of 2021. I sold my lease December of 2021. I had to pay the apartment complex a moving out early fee and they said if I owed anything they would take it out of my deposit then give me the rest of what I had. Ten months later, October 2022, I got a email saying I owed $52 to the apartment complex. I had already been moved out for ten months now and a new leasing period has already started for 2 months. I called management how I owed this and they said they would call me back and never did. If I had gotten my deposit back and didnt hear anything from the complex for almost a year and randomly they says I owe money. On 12/17/22 I got a call from collections saying Alpine Village sent me there for the charge. Never got an email or text, which they claim they sent, saying I owed money and that if I didnt pay they would send me collections. I called management today, new management is now there, and they apologized and said it says on their record that they send text and email which I did not get. After the call I looked at the ratings of apartment complex and almost every single person has said that they have gotten a random charge, such as I, for thing that didnt make sense to them or that wasnt true.

We sent text messages, emails, and left you voice mails regarding this matter before you were ever sent to collections. We left your account open for payment over the course of several months in order for you to pay the remaining balance. We understand your frustration and hope this response helps!
