      We sold our home December 2024 and stopped the Vivint monitoring service, owing nothing on our equipment and balance paid in full. They continue to call, write, harass, and threaten that we need to pay off a multi-year 'contract' for monitoring services that was slipped into my agreement when I added an additional driveway camera a couple of years ago. After buying and paying for a big package and 7 full years using their services, they claim I'm still signed up for another few years and in order to "cancel" the monitoring, I owe them a buy out of the entire contract. As soon as I cancelled their service in December, I was locked out of the panel (a week before we closed on the house which is fine) and I was locked out of my account. I then started getting all the calls 60 days later. After countless conversations with them telling them I'm done, they keep calling. Good luck. I would never recommend them to anyone.

      This is absolutely the worst security company that I've ever dealt with! The system continues to malfunction and the customer service is extremely poor! Even though I purchased insurance they still have a way of acting if if they are doing me a favor! The very first ********** that came out destroyed my brand new house, he was here for over 10 hours and took a 4 hour break to go purchase materials and pick up his kid. I made a compliant and they sent me a check for the damages, since obtaining this system it'sbeen one problem after the other, schedule times that are not kept by Viviant! Hold times are extremely long 45+ minutes, they refuse to let you appeal work a supervisor, then they hang up on you but they don't completely disconnect the call so it looks as if the customer hung up so basically they put you on hold for an hour so you have no choice but to hang up! I regret ever purchasing this system. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, I WILL DEFINITELY SWITCHING TO A DIFFERENT ALARM COMPANY! I HAVE A FEW FRIENDS THAT HAVE VIVIANT AND WE ALL HAVE DECIDED TO DWITCH9

      I vote to make this personal with Vivint. If I see an she's reports in my community attempting to solicit my neighbors, I will be right behind them explicitly telling them how of a scam this company. We purchased an upgrade to our system on March 22, 2025 after being told doing so would lower or bill, when in the opposite occurred. We contacted Vivint within the three days to cancel the upgrade and have our money returned to the creditor Fortiva. It is now April 25, 2025, ******* still has an open account which they charged us. We still owe Fortiva $1750 for equipment we don't possess. I've spoken to both Vivint and ******* and the issue has still not been resolved. I will use every chance I get to discourage people from doing business with this company. Additionally, I would encourage your sales **** to not enter private property anymore to solicit your service. If we don't contact you don't come in the neighborhood. I will let out HOA know of this.

      By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. We have had 31 technician visits, several missed appointments and the cameras are most often offline and do not work. The salesman who sold us this, ****, misinformed us as to how and where the equipment could be installed. He lied to us to sell the product.Please, do not use this company. There are so many other companies out there that actually work and do not rely on sneaky salesmen to peddle bogus promises.

      If it was possible to give less than one star, I would absolutely. I stopped paying for their monitoring services and somehow the pad thermostat does not stay where I set it and has been turning my heat up or my air conditioning down to increase my bill for years. I mean causing huge bills.I absolutely would not ever recommend their services!

      Absolutely Do Not Recommend Vivident Smart Home I was promised an apples-to-apples switch from my existing alarm company by a Vivident salesman named ******, who came to my home riding a little scooter. He assured me Id be saving money while keeping the same features I had with ADT. That turned out to be a complete lie.I signed a contract based on his word. After installation, I immediately noticed the system was missing critical featuresno window sensors, just a glass break detector. I have a small child and a pool. Every window and door needs to alarm individually in case he gets outside. That was clearly discussed from the beginning. I needed audible alerts at the pad like window open or door open, which I had before. ****** acknowledged the mistake, apologized, and told mevia textthat someone would come out to correct it at no charge.Fast-forward a couple months, and now Im being hit with charges for all the additional equipmentdespite the no charge promise. The system ended up being more expensive, not ********** make matters worse, they coached me to lie to ***, saying I had moved to ***** so they wouldnt offer me a better deal. I followed their instructions, and now *** got a final bill from *** for nearly $3,000. On top of that, Vivident is billing me $2,900 for their system. Wheres the savings I was promised?All in all, Ive been misled, taken advantage of, and robbed of nearly $7,000 between both companies because of Vividents shady sales tactics and lies.Stay far away from this company. They do not deliver what they promise, and theyll leave you stuck with a bigger bill than you had before

      Installed 07/22 I was misled by the sales representative regarding the ********************* of the system. I attempted to cancel the service the following business day, but after an extended & frustrating conversation with a representative, I agreed to keep the service due to their persistent refusal to accept my cancellation. I paid off the equipment early. I could cancel the service at any time with 30 days written notice. In 10/24, I sent a written notice of my intent to cancel via email. However, I was still charged in 11/24. Contact Vivint, I was again met with resistance. I accepted a service credit &a reduced monthly fee instead of cancellation.The cameras were frequently offline, even with a Wi-Fi extender. my vehicles were broken into and no footage was captured due to the cameras being offline.03/25, I called Vivint & clearly requested to cancel my service. After another prolonged call, the cancellation was finally processed.Recently, I considered giving Vivint another try ahead of an upcoming vacation. I received an email offering service reactivation at $29.99/month. I was informed that the lowest available rate was $39.99/month. I declined, as I was not willing to pay more than I had been previously. The representative understood This morning, I received two phone calls from Vivint. I answered the second. The representative initially reviewed my account & said he believed he could offer me a better rate. After placing me on hold, he returned with a second representative on the line, then disconnected. The representative asked what I was looking for, I explained the situation again. She repeated that the lowest rate available was $39.99/month. I declined the offer & stated I would purchase new cameras instead. She then made an inappropriate comment: Just remember, you get what you pay for. When she asked why I would consider returning if I had such a negative experience, I felt the tone was unnecessarily confrontational & unprofessional

      Good luck dropping the service. After calling twice to see if i could get a better rate on the service (where the answer was no), we had a camera break, so we called to cancel the service. I had to listen to offers from someone for a half hour after I told him no offer he made would be considered. After a half hour, they told me they couldn't accept verbal cancellation, so I sent in the cancellation. He then said i "may" be charged if the cancellation wasn't processed before the next billing cycle (15 days later). We sent in the cancellation and ***** replied until after the 15 days had passed and we were charged another $32.67. Completely unethical. I'll be posting this on our association website and other social media as well, so people know to stay away from this company.

      Vivint Security is a scam, I brought a system paid in full on March 19th 2025 and wasn't told that the account has to be paid on auto pay. I've only been with them one month and all h*** just broke loose, they've not taken anything out of my account and adding extra charges for no reason at all. They're holding the monies up to say well you're behind when the account in on auto pay, I was told today for the second time that the monies will come out of my account ******. They're very, very rude they switches you to different departments and you can't reach them on any of their apps, the apps are fakes saying something like bad error. They speak over you while you're trying to speak to them they're liars straight up bad business guys. Also I get no monitoring services over night which I'm paying for protection plan at $7.99 a month. They're not very professionalism at all just good at laying and stealing your monies. I'm glad I didn't sign any contracts but however I believe that's why the monies hadn't come out of my account so that way they can say will you've paid your bills when it's on auto

      They wont take no for an answer. We have an aggressive door to door sales man that comes to our reguraly after 6pm. He rings and knocks loudly and disturbs our child woh is trying to sleep. Last Thursday he showed up in the middle of the day. My parents were here and he would not leave the property until he was allowed in to talk to someone. I have called several times and the customer service number cant do anything since they are out in the field. The representatives are the reason no one wants to do business with you.
