      I have had Vivint for a few years and moved to a different home. They sent the worker out to install my sensors, carbon monoxide detector and a doorbell camera. After living here I notice a year and a half the guy didnt put my window sensors on when I called I was told they could do two , Im guessing since it had be a while since he was suppose to had put them back on.When the tech came out about 2weeks ago he said I would have to pay $100 for something I had already had that the original tech didnt put back in. I was told if I add a service I could get them for free which is ridiculous

      Vivint Smart Home are the worst alarm company that i have every used, they deactivate my account every three months like they are doing it on purpose, when i call them and ask them why my system was deactivated they tell me it's a like off payment, my payment has been current every month the amount that i supposed to be paying is a dollar to much but that's what we agreed on March 1, 2022 the new paying of $32.47 but every 2 to 3 months i have a problems with them, and something else people need to know do not go with this alarm system company because once you buy the equipment from them you can not use your equipment with a other companies, they do that on purpose to hold you hostage with them, please tell all your friends to do their research.

      Tell your salespeople to read the giant, large, big, clearly worded sign on my door that says NO SOLICITING and instruct them how to read the English language.

      This company is ridiculous, which is evident from their lack of BBB accreditation, class action lawsuits, and abysmal rating. The customer service provided once you sign up is total garbage. The system is glitchy and has many issues. I purchased their Car Guard and it NEVER worked right. I had to move and the buy out for the contract is 50 PERCENT of the remaining loan! That is insane! tl;dr: It barely works and they will not help you. They are only in it for the money.

      This company is a scam! I was told ii would pay 42 dollars a month for 2 years for my equipment at no point did they say it was a high interest credit card! I was told I could cancel the monitoring service anytime. Lies! 2 year contract with a **** dollar early termination fee! Fortiva who handles the payments for the equipment (that never works) charges a late payment of 43 dollars and i was late 2 days! Already reported to credit bureau. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VIVINT OR FORTIVA!!!

      Do not get solar from vivint's door to door sale rep. **** only tell you what they can to make a sale. Not how you have pay for just the solar panels but you have to set up to pay your current provider or even AEP plus your house isn't using the energy from the panels unless you get the batteries which cost even more. So it doesn't change to help you save on energy costs at all most likely makes them more expensive. Was also told I was getting the best deal out there that was a lie. Have looked at other places and prices even with a different representative from the same company even tho what I was given already couldn't be changed.

      I'm looking to get a refund for the solar panels cause I was lied to. I'm stuck with them without a way to say money like to was told I would they have made my electricity **** even higher almost double what it originally was. If I would have known I had to go through all this trouble and be stacking **** after **** from different electricity providers I would have never accepted this to go forth. Hope there is something that cam be done about this.

      If you are currently looking for an honest home security company, DO NOT CONSIDER VIVINT.They are happy to accept your money, but do not provide services in return. My panel was under warranty for another 6 months and had a malfunction. I called to schedule an appointment, and was told due to a high volume of customers they would have to call me back in 3 months. After never receiving a call, I phoned the company, to be told I would be responsible for a service call and equipment costs. Interesting how I was put off and no notes were made on my account regarding calls to schedule until the warranty expired, and amazingly, they are no longer busy! This is not a reputable company and look to be taken if you agree to sign up.

      Stay away from this company I feel terrorized by this company. I agreed to have equipment installed with understanding I could payoff any time. I agreed to monitoring service. A short time later my smoke detectors start going off in the early morning hours, 2-4:00 am and during the day. This occurred frequently and I only got contacted twice by a monitoring representative. There was no fire but I explained the issue since they installed the equipment. No resolution to the problem. I was basically told it was a problem on my end. I ended up having to detach all my smoke detectors. Time goes by and my finances changed drastically. I called to cancel my service. I was told I had to pay my loan with Citizens. I pay off the loan and call back some time later and was told I was under contract. I explained there is no way I agreed, and it was not disclosed to me I was agreeing to 5 yr contract. All I remember was an iPad for signature for the equipment loan. I NEVER AGREE to contracts for my utilities. I have gotten no where with this company for a resolution. I always pay my obligations but unfortunately things have occurred and I paid my loan but I never ever would have agreed to a contract for monitoring. Shortly after I request to cancel my monitoring my alarm goes off. False alarm. Now I am in fear of using my equipment. I have been victimized with unreliable equipment, unreliable service, lied to about my purchase and stuck in an obligation I never agreed to. This company needs to make this right.
