      I am not liable for this debt with Morgan Jewelers, I do not have a contract with Morgan Jewelers, they did not provide me with the original contract as i requested

      All our credit customers are given a copy of their Credit Account Disclosures Statement at the time the credit application is filled out as well as a copy of the signed sales agreement for their purchase at the time the purchase it made. You may obtain a copy of your signed credit application and signed sales agreement by contacting our collections legal department.

      I purchased 3 or 4 itemsbof jewelry from this company in the past approximately 8 months. I have been making my payments and also money down on items when purchasing them. I recently ran into some problems, when my bank account, ***** fargo, was hacked into. I notified them that I would get the money owed to them caught up as soon as i was able to because ***** had frozen my account and money. They seemed okay, but suddenly they started calling my family and friends harassing them. I called morgans and explained the situation again giving them an update on phone number and that I would be updating my account with a payment asap when my funds were available. I had alot of creditors i had to get caught up with, i.e gas, electricity. They then called me several times and left threatening messages on my phone. This was uncalled for, i had already made an effort to take care of everything, and when i called them again, they proceeded to threaten me, saying pay up or take back the merchandise to the store. I was angry and humiliated, and felt they had crossed the line. I took the utems back, and asked for a refund of the payments and proof of return of merchandise. This was over 2 weeks ago. I feel like i have been more than patient. I just want to be reimbursed and my account closed, with no further dealings with this company. They di not know how to treat people.

      Morgan Jewelers has reviewed the customers credit file. Her account was in default, she had made several promises to bring the account current. Those promises were not kept, and she was given the option to do a voluntary repossession. She brought in the merchandise, and we cleared her account of any remaining amounts owed. When a repossession is done, we do not return any monies paid as we are taking back used merchandise that is not available for resell.
