    terrible customer service....they sent a defective battery and to get it replaced takes a month...it will be spring before a new battery arrives at my place,,,,they are a very slow to respond company. Please people, do not order from this company.

    DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Total SCAM and dishonest business practices! Christmas gift order has still not been received by them and when calling to find out why they NEVER answer their phone. As others on here have reported, they represent the VIP membership as a free gift with your order but in actuality it is a month subscription fee which you CAN NOT cancel. Their website has a link to cancel your "subscription" but the link does not work. Save yourself hassle and from being defrauded and DO NOT order from them.

    This company does not offer a delivery date, just a 6-8 week possible delivery time. So people For Christmas order early in order to have the item for the holiday. The date received is not considered when trying to return or exchange. In fact, an exchange after their 30 day policy is not possible. So you are stuck with a product that is sized too small than the reported size, spending $135.00 for something that is useless. If a holiday gift you certainly dont try it on the recipient until Christmas. Their refusal to service their customers, in good faith, is very poor judgement.

    I returned this vest because they said it was refundable. Its going on three months now and I still cannot get a refund. My card was scammed that I used to buy the vest with and now they will not do a refund to my new debit card. This company is such a scam and when I receive that that vest. It was paper, thin and very very very poorly made, which is why I didnt keep it. I had to pay for the postage back and do a return receipt requested to make sure that they received it and theyre telling me they have rules that if it cant be put back on the original card then there cant be a refund $141.35 and they cant do a gift card or write a check to refund my money I am a single mom. My son is ill and I was buying it for him and when I sought what a piece of c*** it was, there was no way I was keeping it so buyer beware this is the biggest scam company Ive ever dealt with , dont plan on getting a refund theyll come up with some other rule that their management says they cant do for some stupid reason

    STAY AWAY from this business. They engage in multiple outright fraudulent or underhanded practices. I ordered a heated vest in "small" as I'm 5'5" and 123 pounds. A 'small' arrived but the tag said 'Asian sizes' and a small was actually an American large. In contacting Scorched to return, the customer support link was non-functional. First speed bump. When I finally managed to get ahold of them, I was told I couldn't return it until I provided them with PHOTOGRAPHIC evidence of the vest, the packaging, and the sizing label 'to verify the mistake.' Why should you have to verify a mistake in order to make a return? Yet another speed bump. Also, they kept repeating (in about 6 email exchanges) that you can't make a return 'if the packaging has been damaged at all'. How can you unpack a vest from a plastic bag without damaging the bag? Another speed bump. Then, if you want to RETURN it for a refund, it's a 20% 'restocking fee." Two separate named employees emailed me but when I hit "reply' in order to reply, I got a autoreply message that it wasn't a monitored site. Another speed bump....except when that employee ("******" in one case and "Majar" in the other) wanted to contact ME. Then apparently the email DID go through. Lying and fraudulent. So I phoned. First call the woman said she had to check my info, and a minute later, the phone hung up. Another speed bump. I immediately called back. The employee followed the exact same script and I told her repeatedly she COULD NOT put me on hold when she kept trying to. I repeatedly asked ONLY to be given a return address for the item. She kept withholding it. Then she offered me a 'special deal' - restocking fee of "only 50%" - they would take HALF my money for the privilege of my getting the other half back. When I told her I knew the restocking fee was 20% she FINALLY relented and gave me a return address. I am now checking to see if I'm going to get charged the monthly 'club' fee I never agreed to. STAY AWAY!!!

    Despicable way to do business! This company automatically puts you into a monthly VIP subscription that hides the fact you are authorizing such subscription! Its underhanded and NOT the way any responsible business should operate! Theyve lost me from ever considering any future purchase and can rest assured I will be alerting everyone I can to NOT do business with them!

    I purchased a set of gloves, and they dont fit. I have been emailing their support team and submitting support requests without any response. This company is a one way door. Dont buy from here.

    Slick marketing and a website that disguises its "VIP Club" monthly subscription billing as a free gift. Of course, there is nothing telling you that there will be a monthly charge, only that you are in their VIP Club which could mean anything. They also claim to be a BBB Accredited business complete with displayed BBB logo (see their web link at: ***************************************). I highly recommend staying away from this company.

    In 2022 my husband purchased a gift for me. 1 heated vest and 1 heated pants. Came free was the battery pack and heated soles for boots or shoes. We only received the battery pack and soles. When tracking the package it clearly states that it was delivered to a Twin ****************** in ******, **. NOT MY ADDRESS!!! Since February of 2023 I have wasted many hours calling customer service, as well as exchanging emails. NO RESOLUTION. In addition to not receiving my product, they are charging my credit card for a VIP membership that i've requested several times to be cancelled. I also filed a dispute with my **************** that was denied. Scorched Survival now doesn't respond to my emails or phone call attempts. In all, this company has cost my husband and I well over $300 for NOTHING. Please, BBB why have this company if we can't be helped.
