1 starMOST DISHONEST EXPERIENCE! Bought a GNC Denali. Negotiated Wheels into the price 2400 worth. Ended up paying an additional $800 out of pocket because no actual Wheels we wanted were covered. 4 days into driving the truck, it went into limp mode, I took it to ********** and it pulled up 9 transmission codes. Took it to the dealership they topped off the transmission fluid and reset the codes and told us it was fine. About a week later all the codes came on again. Had it diagnosed from a different company and it needs a brand new transmission. $10,000. Took it back to the dealership they refused to do anything. Said they could do a trade-in for $13,000 less than we bought it two weeks earlier. Ended up selling us the extended warranty telling me they would back date it so that it would cover getting fixed. The company who diagnosed the truck earlier that day didn't want to fix the truck because he didn't want to support National committing FRAUD against the insurance company. Also the warranty didn't cover anything 50 miles outside of the dealership, pre-existing conditions or any emissions. Paid $5,700 which I later had to fight to get back. These guys are committing FRAUD in every sense of the word. Fraud against us, fraud against the insurance company. They are extremely dishonest. We are now stuck trying to figure out how to pay $10,000 for a new transmission. We can't drive our car for up to 4 months while we wait for the transmission to come in. It has inconvenienced our whole life. We only have one car. And they have done nothing to help out. They just treated me like I was a big pain. I tried to be nice. Everyone I have talked to knows and have heard terrible things about National. I guess we should have researched more because everyone says this company is completely corrupt and dishonest. That has been our experience. Please don't get taken advantage of like we were. It has completely hurt our finances and it has completely inconvenienced our whole lifeReview fromNate G

1 starIncredibly dishonest dealership. As part of the negotiated sales price, I was asked to finance through National. Finance manager offered a warranty in which a portion of the cost would be covered by which ever bank serviced the loan. Additionally, it would lower the APR by a certain percentage. Neither were true and this was intentionally falsified in the sale. Disgusting sales practice with zero ethics. Do not do business with this dealership.Review fromBrooke B

1 starcompany lied and stole my husband's car. Husband went in to see how much a car payment would be. And they tricked him into signing for a car he didn't want. He also traded in his car. And then kicked him out because they closed. So he wanted to give them the car because HE DID NOT WANT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I told him to freeze his credit so they couldn't sign a deal with a bank. They called him and told him to unfreeze his credit or else. He told them no. My husband then threatened that he was going to get a lawyer, they told him to do it and their lawyer is paid more than his. A couple of days later they contacted him again and said they would take the car back but he couldn't have his car back. So this time I went with him and told him not to sign anything. We went and we met this awful man. He claimed he had been bending over backwards to help my husband, that we signed a power of attorney to keep his car and that he already sold it (meanwhile we looked up the car and it was still on their website, so he is also a terrible lair). They needed him sign a restock fee and pay the mileage and pay off his car balance. He said if we do not sign it the amount will go to collections. (Which doesn't make sense because the title is still in my husband's name and the bank still owns it.) So we called the bank, bank told us that a sale isn't possible because the title is in my husband's name, and they (the bank) still own it and to call the police because IT SOUNDED ILLEGAL. We went to the police, unfortunately there is nothing they could do but they told to call the court. We went filed a report and my husband called the dealership and told them he was about to serve them papers and they crumbled under their week knees and gave us back our car. Wow you gave us back our car you lied and said you sold woahhh! Bad business practices these scummy snakes. They also never gave my husband the original contact. They REFUSED to give him a physical copy.Review fromChris B

1 starCalled about an **** S4 that was listed on *** cars and CarGurus at $29,621. Asked if it was still on the lot and if I could take a look at it. They informed me it was here and set up an appointment at 5:00PM.Drove from my home in ************ only to arrive and be told thats actually my employees car and the price is $31,699 I asked if the price online could be honored and was told no.False advertising and very unhelpful salespeople. Make sure to ask for the correct price when contacting them or you might end up wasting hours like I just did.Review fromMike M

Deceptive buisness practices. Went in to get a few diesel trucks but didn't let them know that. None of the prices were listed anywhere. I feel like they make prices adjust to the situation. Salesman and Manger did not seem to know the price of their own vehicles. Investigation is probably due. Salesman kept telling me a duramax was in the low 40s and then after 4 times asking what the real price was he told me $46500. These guys are price gouging 100% in a weak market.National Auto Plaza, Inc.

I bought a car on 9/23/23 from the ************* location. They gave me my key with the stock tag that showed it was 1 of 2 keys. The salesman gave me an envelope with what was supposed to be the spare key. I didnt look at the spare until I got home and found that it was a key to a completely different make and model vehicle. I called and let them know and said I would bring it back the following Monday and swap it for the spare that belongs to my car. Fast forward, after an entire week of no one being able to find a spare for my car and they say it looks like the stock information was entered wrong and that there probably isnt a spare there.I went in today (10/4/2023), spoke with another salesman who said he was familiar with the situation and a manager who proceeded to tell me that they would pay $300 of $425 to help with getting a spare. My question is, why should I have to pay for it when the tag you gave me clearly says 1 of 2 and Im not the one who wrote up the tag giving wrong information? Also, the salesman who was clearly taking this personally, said what if you hadnt gotten the stock tag? How would you have known about an extra key? Ok sir, that is some shady ****, do you always attempt to take advantage of your customers when you guys are clearly in the wrong? EVERY TIME I have bought a car its pretty much standard practice that the tag goes with the buyer. My takeaway from my experience is once you sign the papers, they got what they wanted and you dont matter as soon as its done, that they DO NOT take responsibility for mistakes made by their people, and they have horrible communication when asked to get back in contact with someone.National Auto Plaza, Inc.

I will never bring my car to your shop for anything ever again. We came to you guys in good faith, we were honest and told you we had never bought a car before, and you completely took advantage of that. You sold us a car with quite a few issues under the guise "sold as is". Fine. But when we brought it back ten minutes after driving away for fixing- your shop LIED and said it was a loose motor mount and that they had "fixed" it and the rattling would eventually go away. What was the real problem for the rattling? tons of loose screws! The driver's side hubcap was loose and rattling, the skid plate was loose and rattling and bumping the underside of the car, the exhaust was just hanging. Your shop has either incredibly incompetent or incredibly lazy employees that were also rude to me for asking them to fix the car I had just agreed to pay $17,000 for. Even the finance guy was rude to me and said "you bought a car as is, we won't be paying to fix anything else". THE *** WAS CLEARLY NOT FIXED. I suppose props to you (*****) for living up to the name of sleazy car salesman. I am disgusted that National Auto Plaza has such shady practices and I will never recommend anyone purchase a car from there. Unbelievable.National Auto Plaza, Inc.

This vehicle had been serviced through the shop and passed all IM and safety inspections. As a used vehicle sometimes items will arise after the fact, as these vehicles are not driven. As a good faith we did repairs in excess of $1400.00 for you.Review fromKatelyn H

Absolutely horrendous experience . They are extremely dishonest about the price . It was listed on line for one price but when we received the final paperwork they tacked on over 5 grand to the price . They had us sign 2 separate financing paperwork but never communicated which had funded . ** acts friendly and kind while youre sitting there but once you drive off the lot forget any form of follow up or assistance with concerns . **** in finance is terrible and a flake . He will shove papers in front of you and not give you enough time to read them because he is in a hurry to get you out the door . When I called numerous times a day to get support no one called me back . I left messages requested follow up and nothing . Not to mention a week after we got the truck the check engine light came one . This company is exactly why people think dealerships are shady . Save yourself and dont do business hereNational Auto Plaza, Inc.
