    In May 2018, this "inventor" started up a backer project on Indiegogo and proceeded to run off with over $400,000 from thousands of backers. No product was ever delivered after endless excuses nor refunds issued. Dan proceeded to form another company, selling the same product with the help of backers money. I realize startups fail all the time but to take money and do it all over again is wrong. I hope all his businesses fail miserably and he finds a cold, hard sidewalk somewhere asking for help. I'll never see my money again but maybe someone can be saved by the same scam. Buyer beware of this con artist.

    On 9/28/18 I pledged for a product from this company’s indiegogo prior to them being a “company”. I pledged for two of their LightCams and patiently waited. It’s been over six years now and they have never fulfilled their end of the bargain with either a product or my refund. They took all of our money and ran all while backdooring a real company and website and selling the completed product to other people. I just want my money back, I wouldn’t support this company now if my life depended on it. I genuinely hope they fail at everything they do in life. Scummy scummy practices.

    Purchased from a defunct Indiegogo campaign. The project provided updates and I was patient as excuses after excuse rolled in. Meanwhile the seller has a website and is actively selling the agreed to products without fulfilling for the people that actually funded the development. 6 years is very reasonable for a product that made it to development and met funding goals all while selling the product currently. The business has said it’s unfair to other backers that have not gone through the trouble to request a refund and are likely writing this off. This is inexcusable and my amount may be more significant therefore would have justified being taken care of much sooner. At this point the product isn’t even unique or competitive due to technologies rapidly advancing. I even requested a refund from Indiegogo and they stated it was outside their guidelines. The seller has been savvy and less than forthcoming as he’s strung along his backers and Indiegogo has not intervened with satisfactory recourse.

    I recently requested a refund. backed this company's IndieGoGo campaign to receive 3 ea. light cams in February 25, 2018 for $270, and also paid additional for add-ons for wifi bulbs that work with this system on May 12, 2018 for $40. The manufacturer has not provided an update in over a year on May 11, 2023. I would like a full refund on the light cams and bulbs.

    I pledged $165 for 2 cameras through Indiegogo from this business on Jan 25,2018. The order was slated for delivery in Aug 2018. The owner had repeatedly over 5 years provided many excuses why he could not deliver on the products blaming his vendors. During this same time, he was selling preorders on amazons and his own private website. There has been no communication since 2023.

    Indiegogo would not provide a refund and the owner would not provide a refund when requested.

    It’s been so long that the technology is outdated and the product is no longer needed.

    Payed $119 in March of 2018 for a lightbulb camera campaign on Indiegogo with the promise of delivery within the year. Campaign has been updated many times but no delivery of product. Company is now selling product on Amazon and hasn’t delivered product to campaign backers. Have complained to indiegogo without any help.

    This company is a complete scam and the owner is a fraud. I was one of the over 2000 backers on Indiegogo who contributed approximately $400,000 to this company in 2018. My personal date of contribution was 1/29/2018. To this day - over 6 years later - absolutely nothing has been delivered. There's been minimal contact from the owner, Daniel S****, and what he has managed to say has been lies, excuses, and deflecting blame for failure to deliver. Daniel S**** is a con artist who flat out stole the money of over 2000 people and has nothing to show for it. Avoid him and his company at all costs. He not only needs to be shut down, but he needs to be criminally investigated for theft.

    I purchased a LightCam on January 30, 2018 for $99. It has been a full six YEARS and I have yet to receive my camera or a refund. The owner has sent out 61 email updates with excuses on why this camera has not shipped out but then also sent out pictures of cameras that have shipped out. They also now have a website up and running where they are supposedly selling these cameras, however they have not actually fulfilled the backers orders and shipped them their cameras. He also sent out an update 11 months ago saying that anyone who has requested a refund will go on “list” and if they have money afterwards, then they will think about maybe refunding the people. How can you be selling these cameras online but not fulfill the orders to all of the backers? And how can you have the audacity to say that you don’t wanna have any negative interchanges with people and that you’re just gonna put everyone on a naughty list and not refund us for a product you haven’t fulfilled in YEARS?! All of the responses that I have seen from the owner have been careless, snarky, and downright rude. We all were there to back your product because we believed in it, but after six years of excuses and ghosting us, we are fed up.

    I backed the LightCam project in 2018 on IndieGoGo. To this date, the creator has failed to fulfill perks. No updates from creator. They took all the money and failed to fulfill any backers orders. Their IndieGoGo campaign breaks IndieGoGo's following terms of use:Campaign Team Obligations.
