      I want to provide a warning to others to be very aware if you decide to become a customer of this company. In July 2024, an Ecoshield Pest Solutions Representative solicited door-to door in my neighborhood and came to my home. I signed their contract, without being provided significant details of the contract, and not thoroughly reading the contract myself. My consequences after signing their contract are as follows:The contract allows 5 days for the customer to cancel services. After that time has passed, the customer is obligated.I received a same-day initial treatment (to include spider extermination). Ecosheild charged my credit card $300.00 for initial treatment. I was told that a second treatment would occur in the following weeks to address the "Egg Cycle" of the pests being treated.After 5 days, I noticed that my spider problem was still a problem, so I called Ecoshield, and told them that I needed them to return and treat my home again. I was told that there was no availability and that the "Egg Cycle" treatment would occur as scheduled.The Ecoshield ******** Service agent did not speak/understand english as a first language, and that hindered good communication.I came to understand that the second Egg Cycle treatment would cost me an additional $200.00. That detail had not been described to me by the Ecoshield Representative at the time of sale.I communicated that I wanted to cancel my contract. I was made to feel like I was not communicating clearly. I was put on hold several times, and offered a discount for the second service, but cancelling my contract could not seem to be understood until several subsequent calls were made.As of today, I owe Ecoshield Pest Solutions a $200.00 penalty for breech-of-contract. I will pay this as a consequence of my not thoroughly reading the contract before I signed it.This company lacks integrity, and should not continue to exist. Protect your money better than I did.

      This company sent a person through my Neiborhood to drum up business. the person would not take no for an answer when I told him i didn't need their services. finally I let them perform a minimum service to my home. I put my initials on a I pad he had with him, assuming i was signing for a 1 time service. After the service was performed i received an email that they was coming again for the service, approximately 1 month later... I called them to tell them not to come anymore and that I decided not to let them do what I was already taking care of myself. thats the first time i was told that the initails on their I Pad was a contract agreement that would last for 2 years !!! I DID NOT AGREE TO THIS !!! and never would have ! In addition it is my opinion that they are preying on retirees... Furthermore their process did not stop nest building pests from attaching themselves to my home... I took pictures this morning to prove it... I want them to leave me alone and not come back ...

I understand this may become frustrating and I want to do what I can to help. I understand where you are coming from. As a result, we have agreed to waive the $211  annual commitment discount payback fee set out in your contract.

      This is because ultimately we want our customers to remain happy and leave knowing we did everything we could to make sure your overall experience was as perfect as we were able to make it.

      As of now, there is no balance on your account. I will send you an email with an invoice attached showing it has been taken care of on our end. You can also use this as confirmation your account is closed with no fees attached. If there is anything else we can do to help you out now or in the future, we are hopeful you won't hesitate to give us a call!

      Saturday, 20 April, about 11:00 AM. A salesman comes to our home and claims EcoShield service includes safe pesticides for our garden. A 2nd person with an iPad joins him and signs us up because of the promised service to our garden. 3:45 PM.Technician ********************* sends details of what he did AND the products he used, but with no mention of doing anything in our garden. (via gmail).Friday, 26 April, 9:30 PM.I sent an email to EcoShield listing our concerns about what was done, if anything, and what products were used in our garden.Monday, 29 April, 1:40 PM.Receiving no response back, we asked ************, Manager @ ************** office if ****** treated our garden and what pesticides he used. ****** promised to ask ****** and get back to us.Wednesday, 1 May, 1:11 PM. Two days later with no response from ******, we called again and were told by a different Manager that ****** was out ill and we'd be called back when he returned.Wednesday, 15 May, 2:03 PM. (2 weeks later with still no response from ******) *****, ************* Specialist, listened to our concerns and promised to forward them to her supervisor since we canceled our account rather than pay for the next treatment due to occur one month after the first treatment (in five days). 2:24 PM Received invoice for $331 ($600 - $269) Cancelation Fee (via gmail).Wednesday, 22 May 9:30 PM. Sent letters to ************** AGAIN asking for a prompt response.Wednesday, 29 May 9:40 PM. Still no response from any person at EcoShield. (I just sent another email to ****** and *****.)

      I had them come and spray and I was told by one of their reps ******** that I could cancel with no money owed if I had them fulfill three follow up visits after the initial paid services! Now they are going back on their word and charging me! I paid them $75 by card and sent another $75 by check to their business headquarters in ******* and they are telling me that I sent it to the wrong office. Now they keep calling me and wanting another payment.

      I assisted my elderly mother with signing up for pest control this past summer. She was having issues with ants and rodents. They came out and treated her home a couple of times, which she paid for. She then passed away at the end of November. We no longer need the service at her home because she, obviously, doesn't live there anymore. I tried to cancel the service and offered to provide a death certificate. I got a huge run-around with them saying the service could not be cancelled, then telling me I had to transfer the service to my home and then finally telling me I could cancel for a $200 fee. Since her debit card was deactivated upon her death, I am being harassed with emails and text messages saying I need to pay $200. I think this is a horrific business practice. That upon someone's DEATH, they still want money from you. I do not want to pay this and will happily provide proof that she is deceased.

      This company is a scam. They guarantee their work, but you can't contact them or cancel their service online. They will act like they care but never do anything about it. I paid for their service after believing their constant guarantees that they would take care of our ant, spider, and snail problems in our yard.After their service, the problems only got worse. I finally bought ant killer at the store which did a better job than EcoShield. I cancelled them charging my credit card and now getting harassing text messages how they will ruin my credit if I don't pay them for service they obviously never performed.

      An Eco shield employee sold my Mother a service for pest control. My mother was concerned about ground burrowing rats. The whole reason she got the service was for this. After the first visit my mother was told it looked like she had a gopher problem which they dont handle. They offered to recommend another company. When she tried to cancel they would not let her. She was told by one representative that she could pay for one more service and then they would cancel. She then received another call from a different representative. He was very angry and said he was going to report the last representative and made my mother pay for another service. I feel like they are taking advantage of my mother and their work practices are unethical.

      Last complaint got closed while I was out of the country with no internet access, I apologize. Complaint ID ******** for reference. EcoShield last communication was that they were willing to cancel my account. I paid the balance and I wish to cancel.Here was the last message from business:Hi ********, If you wish to discontinue, we can honor your request and close your account. The current balance on the account is $145 for the service that was performed on 12/14/22. Please let us know how you would to move forward.
