  Nuwber has lots of incorrect and outdated info. Some people named have not lived at addresses Nuwber shows for over 15 years and some people they list have been deceased for several years. Phone numbers and addresses listed are many years out of date. They list associated people that you don't know and never heard of. Beyond worthless.

  They have publicly listed personal information such as date of birth, phone numbers, address and family without my consent. I am requesting all personal information be removed from their website immediately. I would much rather leave a no star rating I did not solicit service or authorize their company to list any of my personal data.

  Nuwber should be ILLEGAL. They publicly shared my birthday, phone number, home address, family members, etc. without my permission. I am very careful about the privacy settings on my social media accounts and have no idea where they found all this information. It's infuriating.

  I came across this company by accident and it was scary to find my information being shared to everyone without my consent or knowledge. I tried to get my information removed and the link for "removing my information" sent me to a page to subscribe. This business should be out of business and I don't know how they haven't been shut down. I called the number and a robot took my name down and said my info would be taken down between days and 8 weeks. With the amount of complaints to the BBB, I would hope that they are shut down soon! Just because some of people's information is public doesn't give this company the right to collect it and create files that can be shared with complete strangers, anyone who will pay for a subscription. It's evil, and greedy to hide behind a statement like "we aggregate information that is already in free access and openly circulates on the Internet." I wish a class action suit would be filed on this company before anyone does something with the information they provide, or maybe something has already happened and we don't know. They need to be shut down!

  Scam site. Home address, phone number is aggregated from unnamed "public domain" sources, but you can't actually request removal - their site has a long list of rules, no ad-blocker, no anything. I feel certain that if you were to follow all their rules your browser would get infected with malware - they basically admit it:
  "NOTE: Private browsers interfere with cash back tracking. They may not be used."
  Excuse me? "cash back tracking" means what, exactly? I'm trying to remove my listing from their site, not give them money.
  These people are evil. Any lawyer interested in a class action suit against them would cover their boat payment for years suing them.

  I did not "opt in" to have my information included in NUWBER. You can "opt out" all of my
  information now. I am not in the habit of following instructions on a website in order to correct a situation they created. Since you seem to have a script for your replies, I will save you the trouble of including that in your response to me. Maybe you need to listen to complaints and heed them, not add more problems for unsuspecting individuals.

  I am extremely upset with this company, Nuwber, Inc. They have my full name, address, phone number, children's names, old addresses and even the names of my neighbors listed on the internet for anyone to see! WHY? Is this even legal? I tried to opt out, but the "URL" they ask you to copy will not appear! I want my personal information removed immediately.

  Whilst I really do understand people’s concerns about privacy, I would like to point out that Newber only collates information that is already available in the public domain. Those that are willing to abuse that such as stalkers would probably be willing to dig deeper if there was no Newber.
  On the other hand in the unfortunate event where an emergency contact or next of kin is urgently needed Newber makes the process less challenging. I can assure you, if there is a family emergency you will want to be informed promptly. Further more, the service can ease the pressure of making funeral arrangements or re-uniting estranged relatives. In the right hands Newber can make a difficult situation a little easier.
  It could also be used by employers or individuals to carry out a basic background check if there are any concerns over weather or not a someone is safe to allow into the workplace or home.
  How freely your personal data is available is not up to Newber it is a matter of legislation. If you do have concerns about your personal data then I suggest writing a letter to your local government or Senator to address them. Newber is open to abuse and perhaps the industry is in need of more regulation however for those that need it for legitimate reasons it can ease the burden of a grievous situation.
