2 starsI could only give this moving company, actually a broker, they are NOT the moving company and they do not tell you that until you have a problem after the move!In my case, I booked with Dedicated for a move from upstate NYS to ************ giving Dedicated a deposit of $798. The actual movers that dedicated contracted with were very good. However, Dedicated quoted a price for the move, that did have to get increased because I had more boxes than I initially thought I would have. No problem with this, I totally understand. However, during the phone conversation with ****, he explained my price would be increased because of the extra boxes and I therefore needed to make an additional deposit. I didn't even have a problem with this, it certainly seemed fair. So I agreed to an additional deposit of $1,000 which brought my deposit up to $1,798.However, AFTER the move I discovered that my card was charged an additional $1,100 in addition to the $1,000 extra deposit. When I called Dedicated to find out why I was charged this extra $1,100 ******** stated that it was the "pick up" charge. I re-read the contract that **** had sent me by email when I scheduled my move and there was nothing that indicated I would be paying Dedicated a "pick up" charge. I called them and again spoke with ********. This time he was far less professional and then refused to answer any more questions about the extra $1,100.I waited 24 hours after leaving a message for ****, no response. I wrote two emails to ****, no response. There is absolutely nothing in the contract they provided me or in their emails indicating I would be have to pay a "pick up" charge.I DO NOT recommend using this company unless you want to be fleeced for more money than what they said you would be paying. My move occurred on Oct 28th and now on Nov 14th I have received no response to my calls and emails. Do yourself a favor, don't use this company.****** *.Review fromAllen S

1 starStay away from this corrupt, dishonest company.I relied on their dishonest web site when hiring them. They seemed legitimate. We contracted for a move 2 months ahead of time with a very specific contract.A week before the move, after they had received $1,800 in deposits, I was told by their customer service person that they had not found a carrier to do the move.I cancelled, in writing, the contract and asked for the return of my deposit. They agreed to do that but have been evading me for 2 months. I won't get my money back. They are lying scammers.Review fromMercy G

1 starBE WARNED!!! Dedicated Van Lines claims that they are carriers, but, they are not. I called them and from what I was being told, it did not sound as if they were carriers. So, I asked if they were carriers and I was assured that they were. I, then, asked for their DOT number and not only was I given a false DOT number, I was given two false DOT numbers. The second false DOT number was given to me by a man who called me and identified himself as a manager of Dedicated Van Lines. They are a bunch of liers and cheats. They give you a ridiculously low moving quote that will, later, be rejected by the actual moving company. Dedicated Van Lines should be out out of business. They are just a bunch of liars and cheats and should not be allowed to operate.Review fromJanine W

1 starNEVER USE DEDICATED VAN LINES!!! In fact, RUN when you see their Ads!!! 1. DEDICATED VAN LINES is NOT a moving company THEY'RE MOVING BROKERS! **** (one of their Brokers), told me they have trucks of their own. He LIED! They HAVE NO TRUCKS! They contract out their jobs to multiple/random movers. He told me their fee would decrease my shipping cost - He LIED! IT DOES NOT! All fees are Separate. You have to pay multiple companies along your route. And **** continued to lie throughout my move!2. Every time you go to their site - it says, "We're offline at the moment." Only thing is - THEY'RE ALWAYS OFFLINE. They use a "Flash Page" with a picture of a moving van displayed. But it's NOT a real website. It's FAKE, unmonitored and designed to make you think you're dealing w/at real moving company - BUT YOU'RE NOT.3. They contracted out my move to the following DISHONEST "moving companies" who, like them - LIE and UP - CHARGE YOU. My move was outsourced to the following 3 companies - all BEFORE my items ever arrived - DAMAGED! So add the following companies to the list of companies NOT to do business with:a). ******************************* b). ****** MOVING & STORAGE and c). QUALITY TRUSTED MOVERS LLC CITA VANLINES" charged me $675 OVER the fee I was promised By DISHONEST DEDICATED VAN LINES. **** said the extra fee was due to DISHONEST DEDICATED VAN LINES not properly estimating the number of items that I had. But everyone knew EXACTLY what items I had because I sent them VIDEOS and Photos of Everything beforehand! 4. My items arrived UNBOXED, BROKEN, AND DIRTY. And when QUALITY TRUSTED MOVERS finally arrived at my location they had NO ONE to help the ONE DRIVER/MOVER - unload the truck! So at the last minute - they found a random day worker off the internet to assist.5. Then they tried to UPCHARGE me and additional $700! How I managed to NOT pay that fee is on other On-Line review sites w/a higher word count. SO RUN WHEN YOU SEE DISHONEST - ********************************************************Review fromPatricia C

1 starDONOT USE THIS MOVERS !! If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I would have done that.
Warning : If during the move, any of your items is lost, you WILL NOT get compensation for that !
I had booked a move with Dedicated Van Lines for the end of July 2023.On the day of move, they sent a third party movers called "R&M transportation for the move". In the transit, they lost my 300$+ bike. When R&M transportation delivered by stuff, they mentioned that it would have been misplaced the bike during the transit and they would try to relocate it as soon as they can and if they are not able to do that in a week, contact the movers and if needed please file a claim for it ! So I did exactly what was asked for ! However after submitting the claim, R&M claimed that there was no missing bike and asked me to contact Dedicated Van lines for the missing item which I did.
It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation , but they hardly reply !
The last response from Ryan Gold from Dedicated Van lines on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them.
Before the move, dedicated van lines will be constantly in touch with regarding the move, their customer service agents would be excellent. But once the move has been completed, they will not respond to any of your queries !
Also "R&M transportation" are not professionals. On the day of the move, 2 people showed up for the move & they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professionals ! During the move, 1 of helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing! I was in total shock .Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged !
I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move ! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!!

1 starThe owner is definitely guilty of fraud, damaging 3 custom Harley Davidson motorcycles left for my grandchildren from my late husband and my furniture literally smashed, scamming, theft and bait and switch. Giving me estimate then demanding thousands more when another moving company came to pick up my items.Especially when taking advantage of the elderly. Which in NJ and NC a felony. Yet he gets away with it. I suggest to all seniors to contact non profit organizations that stand up for the elderly. These people should be in jail. He has the nerve to respond to me I got 2 trucks instead of 1 , 18 wheeler I was suppose to get. Yes I got 2 white box trucks with the name of Family movers. Then saying he packed many things. All my stuff was boxed. Who knows he was going to put cardboard around my 2 bedroom sets, living room end tables, curio cabinets. All the people I know the movers wrapped blankets around furniture. My boxes that I did receive had pink stickers on them . 1 had a blue sticker and isn’t my stuff. Who has my lamps, drapes? And who is going to pay for the damaged motorcycles and smashed furniture?? He has the nerve to say there is no need for cursing!!! I didn’t curse at all. It is almost impossible to contact him as he has 7 different phone numbers and there is no way I can talk to anyone from Family moving co. ( the company he sold my job to). To all the people he committed fraud, changed cost don’t let this company get away with stealing your money or items. He has to be stopped and reimburse what we worked for. He is scum of the earth getting rich by taking advantage of hard working decent people. Remember to contact the people who stand up for the elderly (65 and over). To the state you moved from and moved to. I have police reports from both states which will help you. Even if you didn’t report as loading and unloading get a police report. I also have pictures of damaged items before loading and when delivered ( with police present. Take pictures nowReview fromArlene A

1 starDedicated Van lines moving company are more than scammers. They sell your move and demand more money after your stuff is on the trucks of Family moving company .Dedicated confirmed with me several times they are not brokers. They have their own trucks with their logo on the sides of .. 2 white box trucks showed up and after loaded demanded thousands more than quoted. I called the police in Clifton, NJ and they wrote up report stating it is a civil case. I was totally overwhelmed about the trucks and demanding thousands more. My daughter paid them from my grandsons account. The movers insisted my daughter signs a paper saying she wouldn’t write a complaint against the company for the increase in money or if any items were damaged. There were 10 friends and neighbors present at time of loading truck. Prior to movers company . When I got a quote from Dedicated Van lines moving company I mentioned I was going to get a transport company to move 3 Harley Davidson motorcycles. 2 are custom and very expensive. 1 motorcycle was in the magazine “In The Wind” the November 1996 edition. It has a mural on 1 side of MT. Rushmore and the other side Crazy horse. The sales person said we can just put them in front of the 18 wheeler. Away from furniture and boxes. I told the guy who I spoke to I can’t risk it then he guaranteed me . Each motorcycle with be well taken care of ( these were included in the quote. The reality of all the trauma came when they delivered my stuff to my new address in NC where I lost it and called NC police to see what they took off. And what they didn’t take off. My stuff was in storage over a month at the moving company warehouse . My big bedroom dresser totally smashed on the top and side. 3 damaged motorcycles ( 2 custom, 1946 complete motorcycle). I tried several times to call Dedicated and no return call.I feel Dedicated is responsible to pay for motorcycles repaired and new bedroom set. And what was stolen returned. And the thousands I was scammed for.Review fromJithin J
