1 starHorrible experience ! DONOT USE THIS MOVERS !! If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I would have done that.
Warning : If any of your items is lost, you WILL NOT be compensated!
I had booked a move with Dedicated Van Lines for the end of July 2023.
On the day of move, they sent a third party movers called "R&M transportation for the move". In the transit, they lost my 300$+ bike. When R&M transportation delivered by stuff, they mentioned that it would have been misplaced the bike during the transit and they would try to relocate it as soon as they can and if they are not able to do that in a week, contact the movers and if needed please file a claim for it ! So I did exactly what was asked for ! However after submitting the claim, R&M claimed that there was no missing bike and asked me to contact Dedicated Van lines for the missing item which I did.
It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation , but they hardly reply !
The last response from Ryan Gold on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them.
I have attached the screenshot of the email communications
Once the move has been completed, dedicated van lines will not respond to any of your queries !
Also "R&M transportation" are not professional movers. On the day of the move, just 2 people initially showed up for the move and then they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professional at all ! During the move, one of those helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing the TV ! I was in total shock how can someone do that. Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged !
I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move ! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!!
DONOT BOOK THIS MOVERS !Review fromMarina C

1 starDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This coming fraudulently represents itself as a long-distance moving company when they are a moving brokerage firm. They own/operate 0 moving trucks. They brokered my move out to a company called Witty Mover and Delivery and it was the move from hell.
The review I posted for Witty Mover and Delivery is pasted below. This was truly a horrific experience. This company should be shut down.
My move was brokered out to this company from Dedicated Van Lines, a company that misrepresents itself as long-distance movers. Relocating from Pennsylvania to New Mexico with this company was hands down the most egregious moving experience of my life. I do not know how to capture the level of dysfunction and fraudulent business practices fully but I shall try. They are the worst: 1. they doubled the cost of my move, 2. they destroyed and/or didn't bring ~$6k worth of my belongings, 3. my boxes were riddled with rodent feces, 4. they were ~2 weeks late, 5. when I called to get an updated delivery estimate their phone numbers were coming back disconnected and I thought all of my property was stolen for 24-48 hours, 6. it took 6 months for them to finally respond to my property damage claims which only happened after I began consulting plaintiff attorneys and threatened them with litigation, 7. the settlement they offered covered ~0.05% of the value of the property they damaged, destroyed, and didn't deliver. Basically, you are better off using anyone but this company. Additionally, under no circumstances book a move through Dedicated Van Lines, they are equally as fraudulent as Witty Movers and Delivery.Review fromEli O

1 starI had a miserable experience with Dedicated Van Lines. They gave a window of 9am-12pm for when the movers would show up. They showed up 3 hours late, at 3pm. All along I was assured we would have a smooth move, with the best crew ever, and it was anything but. Because the movers were 3 hours late, it threw off the timing of the move and as a result it meant they wouldn't be finished until 9pm (6 hour estimated move). With 2 small children we began to panic on how they would go to bed that night without their beds set-up. We reached out to the dispatcher to see if they could accommodate doing 2 trips to our new place, which was just 10 minutes away. The dispatcher and the movers agreed to breakdown the bedrooms and beds first and move those over and get them set-up so our kids could go to bed, and then would go back (Again just 10 minutes away) for everything else. When all was said and done, around 930pm, the driver said he was charging us an extra hour = $300, for going over the estimated time. I pushed back and said that if they had showed up on time (9am-12pm) we wouldn't have needed the extra trip over, which is what caused us to go overtime. He became agitated and demanded payment or he wasn't leaving the property. I had the balance ready and said I would take it up with the company in the morning. The driver began taking items back to his truck. He was extremely rude to my wife and extremely unprofessional through this process. Eventually we paid just to get them out of the house, but we were very shaken by how intense things became at the end of the move. To make a long story short, we ended up recouping ($150) some of they money, but it left a bitter taste. I would highly recommend AVOIDING this company at all cost. No one from the company apologized for the tardiness and the added stress and anxiety they caused us. Dedicated Van Lines was unapologetic and blamed US for going overtime! The irony is the movers actually did a good job with our furniture...Review fromStephanie P

1 starThe quote that is provided means nothing- the movers arrive, look at what is to be moved and multiply the amount quoted. Then the movers get nasty when you don’t accept the new pricing. It is a scamReview fromJennifer G

1 starMike explained to me that I would be charged for the number of items, that any breakables that I had would be wrapped in a soft crate and included in my price, along with 55 boxes of packed goods. The price I received seemed fair for the amount of times that I had given them. I clarified that totes, and any size boxes would account towards the 55 boxes and I was told yes. I explained that I was moving into a 2-story home, and Mike informed me that all of my items would be delivered and placed into the specified rooms. I also had items in storage, which I informed him of MULTIPLE times and he failed to communicate that to the actual movers. The job was contracted out to a third party who did not pack my items in a soft crate that were breakable, they informed me that they did not know about anything in storage that needed picked up, and did not take care of my items while moving them. The lead of the crew loading my items kicked at my dog because he was standing too close to him. When I brought this to their attention they told me I was lying. They had me sign all the documents before everything was loaded, explaining that they had to be signed before anything could be loaded. They then jacked up the price on my moving cost by double. They explained that I had 2500 cubic feet of items, even though I was originally charged per item, but on a 26ft box truck which the max cubic feet for that truck is 1800. When trying to explain the math that it was incorrect they threatened to put my items in storage and let it rot unless I paid the price. I explained what they were doing was criminal extortion and against the law. They then threatens to charge me for having their truck wait and start to charge me x-amount per half hour for waiting. They told me I was on a recorded line, which I did not consent to since the state of Georgia is a 2 party consent for a phone recording. The documents they had you sign are unreadable and would not provide time for you to review the docs.Review fromJason T

1 starThis company is not who they say they are. You will get a call from a broker that hides behind Dedicated Van Lines name. They promise you a lot and when you go to the Dedicated Van Line website everything checks out including pictures. The day before the move is when you find out they are a broker. Erik and Ryan who swear they will take care of everything will disappear when things go south. They take advantage of the customer during a very stressful and vulnerable time. I have emailed Dedicated Van Lines to file a claim and they have not responded. The moving company they sent was unprepared in a rental truck with 3 movers 2 of which did not speak any English so it was hard to communicate with them. They loaded as much as they could in the truck and left our house totally in disarray. We had to hire another company for an extra $4,000 to finish the move. We have not heard from Dedicated Van Lines since the night of the initial move. The address on their website is a PO Box in Virginia and the other one is a large complex. These people should be investigated. I checked with the Federal Transportation Division and they are not even registered with them. I should have done this before I hired them and avoided myself all this heartache. They underbid over promise and lie.Review fromColleen E

We had a contract with dedicated who insulted me by stating that I live in a horder situation when the items in question are the items that need packed and moved. I am a senior citizen, disabled, and recently widowed. I have thrown out over a metric ton of items (having been weighed) they were unprofessional, rude, and called my items garbage. Quoted. They have no respect for their potential clients as we talked to Atlantic group U.S.A. who have face timed my good friend and has zero issue with said “garbage” please follow up with me as this errors into the realm of discrimination and elderly abuse.Dedicated Van Lines Inc

I am very sorry that you felt embarrassed in the situation Ms Eyre. Unfortunately our movers drove 6 hours through the mountains in a moving truck and left at 430 am in order to come to try and move you. When we arrived, the movers felt that the working conditions were unsafe; and for that reason, we had to cancel the job. We did not want to cancel the job; we refunded your reservation deposit (even though we were legally able to keep it due to having sent a truck to you) and tried to address the situation as delicately as possible. We are not trying to make you feel bad; we just can not pack and move items that are in the condition of the items we were hired to pack and move.
I am the person that spoke to you on the phone, I did not call your items garbage, I just stated that the garbage that was around your items had to be cleaned/cleared out prior to our movers coming into the home to pack and move you.
I am sorry we could not help, I am glad that you found a company called Atlantic Group Usa that is willing to help, I hope they do. I am sorry we could not.Review fromJustin T

5 starsAn actual great moving company. One that stands behind its families morals and values and does the best they can at any opportunity to incorporate them into their problem solving skills within their family business. A true American success story. I am glad to have been a part of it and to have seen how hard the guys work, and the company worked to exceed my expectations. Thank you Erik C*****, Ryan G***, Alan G***, Janice G***, Jerry S***** and anyone else who assisted in the process.
