      SMITH & KEENE INSTALLED A MINI SPLIT A/C UNIT IN MY BEDROOM A FEW YEARS AGO. IT RECENTLY STARTED LEAKING AND I CALLED SMITH&KEENE TO REPAIR IT. THEY CAME OUT IN AUGUST AND SUPPOSEDLY FIXED IT AND CHARGED ME *******. IT CONTINUED TO LEAK. THEY CAME OUT AGAIN LAST WEEK AND ONCE AGAIN, SUPPOSEDLY FIXED IT. IT STILL LEAKS AND THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR THIS FAILED SERVICE. THEY NOW REFUSE TO TRY AND FIX IT. EVEN THE SALES DEPT. PEOPLE SAY THE SERVICE DEPT. IS WRONG AND THAT IT SHOULD BE REPAIRED BY THEM. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY TO PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS OF SMITH&KEENE................BEWARE. THEY ARE NOT AN HONORABLE ORGANIZATION. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES AND DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR CONTRACTORS LICENSE REMOVED.

      The part in question was chewed up by rodents. It is not an item that is covered under warranty, which is why we were charging for our service.       You have a rodent problem unit was installed correctly discharge verbiage not sure what that is but your drain line was eaten by something we are not a pest control company i would advise you to call them for preventative issues thank you

      WORD TO THE WISE: STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT HONORABLE. THEY ARE A DISGRACE TO THE CONTRACTING 

      AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. THIS CASE IS CLOSED. THEY WILL NEVER BURN ME AGAIN!

      Air conditioning unit keeps breaking down. Called for a repair in April and May. Each time we had to pay ****** for someone to come out to the residence. We are now being told that we have to pay ******* for a part to complete the repair. The unit seems to be faulty.

      i have attached a copy of the warranty that I received from Smith and Keene. **** was paid yesterday for service on the air conditioner. ****** was paid in May for service on the air conditioner and $***** was paid in May for service on the air conditioner.

      We apologize that we did not catch this complaint prior to today. The pictures that ***** ******** sent are of a 10 year part warranty and a 1 year labor warranty. Since the unit was 2 years old at the time of AC failure we correctly charged for labor and did not charge for the part.
