    I made two contracts with *************************************, the owner of D&M Tree Service, phone ************. One large written contract for $6,500 to remove and grind the ***** of 8 trees and one smaller verbal contract for $2,200 to remove and grind the ***** of 5 smaller trees. He requested 50% down payment for each, therefore I made two separate checks payable to *********************************, one in the amount of $3,250 (half of $6,500) and the second check in the amount of $1,100 (half of $2,200). The large written contract for $6,500 was signed by myself and ************************************* on 5/31/2024 (today is 8/19/2024). I have the original contract, and both checks, one for $3,250 and one for $1,100. The check for $3,250 was cashed by ************************************* on 5/31/2024 and the check for $1,100 was cashed by ************************************* on 6/3/2024, again, today is 8/192024, almost three months later. Hence, in total, I paid *************************************, $4,350. $3,250 + $1,100 = $4,350 . Long story short, I haven not seen ************************************* since I gave him the checks, way back on 6/3/2024. I have texted him and called him many times and he has not responded.

    On Oct. 30, 2023, I signed a contract with ***** **** Services *********, ** to grind 52 stumps at in an empty lot we own in Wash., ** . Unfortunately, I paid him before the job was completed. To make matters worse he got paid and the job was never done, I contacted him and he promised to have it done soon, sent two people who worked from 12 pm -5 pm and grinded a total of 4 tree stumps out of the 52, when I contacted *********************************, the owner, he stated that they had issues with the grinders and will return to the sight but never did. I offered for him to hire my gardener who was ready and willing to do the job, even though it was last minute, but has yet to communicate with me or him directly. Gave him enough time and opportunity to make the wrong right but his dishonesty is beyond reproach.

    On November15, I spoke to ********************************* of D&M Tree Service, ********, ** regarding tree removal in my yard, We signed a Job Proposal and I paid him $6,200.00. On November 29, I called ************************** since the work hadn't started and he informed me that they would be out to do the work on 12-5-2022. He never showed.I called on December 14, no answer. On January 18, ************************** called me and my neighbor, ***********************, that he was having someone write the check that day and would call me when it was complete. No call.I have called the only number that is working, at least 14 times if not more since middle January and his mail box is full and I can't leave a message.
