  I am not in the habit of leaving reviews. However, I feel obligated to my family, friends and neighbors to let them know about D&M tree service of ********, **. Worst experience of my life dealing with a company. I hired them from a referral in September 2022 to do tree work and clearing of brush. The owner talked me into 20 ***** shrubs and I paid up front and never received them. I was supposed to receive a contract, which the owner kept saying he forgot to bring. The clearing was left in a mess and I had to hire an excavator to grade and make it acceptable to plant grass. Stumps were left half ground. I finally got him to answer my phone call in which he agreed to put in crepe ****** and a Japanese maple in place of the ***** shrubs he promised and I did not receive. This was in January 2023. I still have not received the replacement trees and I call the only number available so many times it has gotten ridiculous. I realize I should never have paid up front. But, at the time my husband was coming out of the hospital and I wanted to get everything done so he wouldnt have to do any outside work as we were considering selling the our property because of his illness. I have never been so disappointed in a company. Poor customer ********************** and awful work ethic. I dont understand how a business owner never can return a call to a client who has paid thousands of dollars to them and then never complete the service. This is clearly a case of the worst scruples and the poorest of professional work ethics. And as far as a star rating it should be zero, but I am required to leave at least a one star review.
