    AVS grossly overcharged me and deliberately sabotaged my A/C in order to take advantage of me in the future. They serviced my house on April 22, 2025 and charged $763 to replace a fuse and install a super boost. The owner/technician also said if I continued to have issues he would put that cost towards replacing my A/C and quoted me $11,000 for a new unit. My A/C failed again a week later. This time I contacted the same business professional who installed the A/C originally and he was able to service my unit. He told me the only problem was loose wiring and the need for a little coolant. He also said the loose wiring looked deliberate since it would have been impossible for wires unloosen themselves and the system would eventually fail. ***'s "fix" was a scam to take advantage of me at a later date. The invoice for $763 listed installation of a super boost as part of the service but did not include a specific cost for parts or labor. A quick ****** search for the same super boost shows a product available for $13.78.I want my $763 returned. *** completely took advantage of me by charging an outrageous amount for an unnecessary part. They intended to take advantage of me in the future with the quote for 11k for a new unit I didn't need, and may have deliberately sabotaged the wiring on my A/C so I'd need to contact them soon. I have contacted *** via email with this same information.

    $358 on 10/4/24 for cleaning and service of both fireplaces $600 on 10/4/24 as deposit for remotes $586 on 11/4/24 for remote install Came out to clean and service fireplaces. Told us the only way to turn the fireplaces on and off without opening up the fireplaces every time was to install remotes. Paid to have remotes installed on both fireplaces. Could not figure out how to install remotes on 18 Oct, completed 1 of 2 installs. Came back on 4 Nov to complete job. On 25 Nov we realized that both remotes worked on both fireplaces, so we were unknowingly turning on the basement one every time we ran the fireplace upstairs, which is a huge safety concern. Scheduled them to come fix on 6 Dec. They missed the appt and never called or notified us. We had to call to reschedule to 9 Dec. On 20 Dec realized we could control the fireplaces from light switches. So either AVS is willfully upselling or is completely incompetent. We specifically asked at the first appointment if the light switches would work and were told no. On 12 Feb remote stopped working and fireplace started beeping. I turned off pilot light because I didnt know what was wrong and the safety of my family is a top priority. Called to have remotes removed and refund issued. After 4 visits and lots of problems I just wanted to be done dealing with them. I was told the **** would arrived and do exactly that. 14 Feb AVS came to the house. Said they would not take remotes or issue a refund as the front office had promised. I was also told there is nothing wrong with my fireplace. It became clear we would not come to resolution and I had to force them to leave my house. The upstairs fireplace will still not light from pilot light. So both things I paid for were not done properly. I tried to call several times to get resolution. I kept being told they would call me back and never did. Eventually they started screening my phone calls and sending to voicemail. I have not heard from them in weeks.
