  DO NOT USE, THEY WILL WILDLY OVERCHARGE YOU. I have used AVS Heating and Air Conditioning twice in the last year, the second time reluctantly since my first experience seemed overpriced. I should have listened to my gut because they completely ripped me off.Both times I called AVS they were able to come to my home quickly. This was important because my A/C wasn't working and the weather was quite hot. I'd tried to problem solve on my own but didn't get anywhere. Both times AVS "fixed" what I later discovered were small problems. Yes, I needed an A/C professional to help me, but they charged me $763 to jiggle some wires and replace a fuse. This is literally the only thing they did per the A/C professional I called a week later when my system wasn't running again.AVS gaslighted and overcharged me for basic service. They did it twice and it's my fault for going back to them the second time. I am more than willing to pay for quick service in a heat wave and expect to be charged something. But these people are blatant thieves. When I had the wiring issue fixed + a little coolant today by a different company, the serviceman couldn't believe what I'd been charged by *** for the work they'd done (I'd save the receipts and showed them to him). The first time I used them I'd suspected AVS was making up the cost of service rather than associating it with a specific part or labor. After I reviewed the invoice they gave me last year I realized they'd charged me $350 to unclog a drain. They took advantage of my ignorance since if I'd known where to look I could have saved myself $350. I seriously hope people who check reviews before making a blind call to a company will see this and skip ****

  I recently had the pleasure of experiencing top-tier service from AVS and I can confidently say that this HVAC company is nothing short of exceptional. When my air conditioning unit decided to give up on a sweltering summer day, I was faced with the daunting task of finding a reliable and cost-effective solution. AVS not only came to the rescue but exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

  I have been using AVS Heating and Air Conditioning since 1991. They always come on time and take care of my HVAC and Appliances. I am very satisfied with the service and highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for hvac repair or replacement.

  We experienced unacceptable racist behavior in this business. I would rate the business zero star if I could. We hired them to install our AC unit in August last year. Now just one year later, our maintenance guy identified during the annual check that the AC refrigerant is very low and we need to add two ponds more in to make sure the AC is running at proper level. The maintenance guy ruled our coil and leaking issue, and the only explanation is the AVS didn't put adequate refrigerant when they installed. We call the company asking (politely) if they can come add the refrigerant for free, give it's within one year and the issue was due to low refrigerant in the first place. The guy answering the phone said "one chinese customer didn't want to pay". This is not only racist, but also not responsible for what went wrong during the initial installment.

  Our past weekend started with a broken A/C during the 90F weather. We thought it will be an issue to find someone reliable during the weekend hours. Googled a couple of HVAC companies and left messages. Only one - AVS Heating and Air Conditioning returned the call and accepted an emergency appointment to take a look at the issue. Anil arrived at the unit and inspected the broken AC unit. He was super nice and professional and gave us the best option for a quick fix. Really appreciate their time and knowledge. Will always recommend them to my friends and anyone who needs help with the HVAC issues. Thank you!

  We had an issue with our furnace and AVS came out the same day. They were very professional, responsive, and on time. They were respectful and didn't try to get us to pay for a bunch of stuff we didn’t need. They resolved the issue while they were at our home and had our heat back up and running quickly! I would highly recommend AVS and use them again.

  I woke up one morning to find out I had no heating on a very cold day and called up AVS Heating and air (I did business with them a few years ago too) and got same day service both times. The problem was simple and they addressed it in less than an hour and got my heat up and running in no time. Overall great service and a very competitive price! I will definitely call them up again!
