I filed my taxes on 2/9/23. I wanted to do the combined state and federal taxes through ******.com for the $29 fee. I paid the fee on my debit card. When I got to the end of filing my federal taxes, it said that my state wasn’t accepting e-file. I called my state’s Department of Revenue, and they said they have been accepting it since January. So, why did I just pay $29 for them to do my state taxes? I just want the $29 refunded to my card so I can do my state taxes somewhere else. I have nothing against this company but I would like to be refunded for a service I couldn’t use. Thank you.

This person used *****.com not E-file.com. We have no relationship with that company. If they would like to use E-file.com to prepare this return they can save 50% with the coupon code *******.

    Sincerely,

    E-file Customer Care

I received a notice from my bank that someone changed all my information and was trying to use **** to send money out. This was at approximately 0030 on 10/11/2022. When I returned home I looked up my email account and found that e-File.com had sent a notice of my changing my password and email. I tried to log in but had to get a new password, which they kept sending to the hacker, I never got verification. The problem is that this company has no way for anyone to ask for help, unless it is for a tax question. No account issues can be discussed. They have someone else accessing my taxes and I can not even get a warning to them. Outrageous. They say to pose my question on their Support link, that only helps with taxes. How can I reach these incompetents? Can you help? Email is ******************
