      I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother, she signed up for this program almost a year ago. They have yet to get anything in order/fixed/help. They did send information into insurance company, and insurance company has set out notice to her. My mother has not seen any help, in the time we have waited for them to get their act together to get her help, she has taken and fell and caused herself more issues. When she called them this morning to inform them of all of this, she was told it would take another 21 days before anyone could come out and do more paperwork. This company really needs to be looked over.

      I know you do not consider this a response, but there are Federal HIPAA laws that prevent me from discussing the specifics of any client case file.  Just as your doctor cannot share any of your medical information with anyone publicly, I CANNOT share PHI with the world on any of our clients.  This matter is being addressed directly with the client privately.

      We were not assigned a new Service Facilitator in time before Attendant Hours Authorization paperwork was due on July 1, 2023. We were without a Service Facilitator for several months with limited contact from the agency only to tell us that someone would be assigned as our new Service Facilitator. Attendant Hours Authorization ran out. When contacting the agency no one would return our calls or emails. Finally someone got back to us over a week ago. A new Service Facilitator came out to complete the re-authorization paperwork (took several hours when it should have taken an hour at most). They have not yet submitted the paperwork to the insurance company, so in the meantime our attendant (who takes care of my disabled son during the day) isn't getting paid for a full day's work. We have reached out to the Division Manager. They said they were handling it, but days later still the paperwork hasn't been submitted. It is going on almost a month now that our attendant hasn't received a full day's pay.

      Unfortunately, personal health information is protected by the federal HIPAA act.  I cannot discuss steps taken in regard to any case that we manage, by federal law.  Suffice it to say that my team has reached out to the complainant, action has been taken, and no further details can be provided.
