1 starWorst experience ever!!!! We agreed an a sale price all in and I was told to sleep on it which I did. Only one night, went back the next afternoon on lunch break to purchase the vehicle. I go to sign and fill out the paperwork next day and they stated they could not let me have the vehicle at the price we negotiated as I did not take their dealership financing. The day before the salesman knew I had financing already completed from my credit union and I had a decent down payment. He knew this up front and not once mentioned that the price negotiated was based on me financing with their lenders. I explained to them that they knew I had everything in order for the purchase and I will not go with their financing as I did not want my credit pulled again. I know that a credit report takes a hit every time an establishment runs it. Not to mention I already had a great rate. To make matters worse the salesman stated and I quote " I can't let it go for that price, since you won't take our financing" I reminded him of our conversation the day before and then he had the audacity to say, "I'm not going to make any money off this sale" Who says that? I stated "A deal is a deal, and you knew I had financing already accounted for" To make a long story short he then got on the phone to someone in the back room and told me I can have the vehicle for an additional $500. I told them fine because I wanted to get out of there and was so angry about the way I was treated. I then gave them a one star rating on the internet and was told to contact general manager to see how they could make it right. No response after one day, I called dealership asking to speak to ******** and they said she was gone for the day and I couldn't leave a voice mail because her voice mail was full. She didn't have a voice mail and I was disconnected after many rings. They use unethical sales practices. Legally you don't have to take their financing nor they should charge more for not.Review fromRicardo S

1 starTHE WORST DEALERSHIP IVE EVER DEALT WITH. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM!!!!Very deceptive and shady dealership. Price online was $28,495. Once I got there and test drove the car, then they wanted to add $7k on top of it before even charging for all of the processing, taxes, and fees. I drove over an hour to see a Murano that I thought was one price only to find out that the price was almost $10k more than advertised. Definitely do not recommend buying from Nissan of Richmond. If they start off lying and cheating, what would make you think that they wouldnt continue to deceive you in other ways.Review fromAngela M

1 starI had the worst experience at West Broad Street Nissan I visited this location with niece who was looking to purchase her first new car. She saw a new vehicle she wanted to test drive so we proceeded inside and checked in at the front desk. The salesmen, ******** immediately wanted to discuss numbers and paperwork. I informed him that we simply wanted to test drive the vehicle first to ensure she liked the car and it would be a good fit before proceeding to the next step. His response was Oh shes going to like the car" and he continued to discuss Financing and how it works as though I have never purchased a car in my life. I am a 53 year old woman and have purchased seven cars in my lifetime. I am quite familiar with the purchasing process. I again asked a second time to test drive the car and I was denied. Instead, he proceeded to get the finance manager, ***********************. He also proceeded to discuss numbers, make comparisons to purchasing a Nissan to a to a Bentley. All the while speaking in a disrespectful condescending tone. I again asked for the to test drive the car and was ignored. After being treated so poorly and denied for the third time we proceeded to the front desk. and spoke with ****************, the Owner loyalty Manager. I asked her speak to the manager and was told he was not in. I also asked for corporate and was told they are privately owned. We left frustrated, and confused. After leaving the dealership, we received a text message from the salesman saying that we could test drive the vehicle. This is truly unacceptable and not how customers should be treated! Why were we initially denied the opportunity to drive the vehicle three times? Is rudeness, arrogance, aggression, discrimination and disrespect a common practice at this a dealership? I strongly believe if we were men, we would not have been treated with such disregard and contempt. Shopping for your first new car should be a pleasant experience, this was not the case! HORRIBLE!Review fromANDREW P

1 starI saw a listing for a Nissan Rogue SL online and went to test drive the vehicle and purchase. The vehicle is still listed on sale (as of this review) for $34,594, but when I try to purchase for the sale price the dealership (including salesperson and manger) would not allow me to purchase for that amount. So, pay no attention to their ads because they will play the bait and switch game. Usually "bait and switch" ***************** a product at a very low price in order to attract customers who are then persuaded to switch to a more expensive product, but in this case it was the same vehicle!Review fromBrenda P

1 starI purchased a new 2023 Nissan Rogue in November of 2022. By March 2023 lights came on and the vehicle slowed down. Nissan of Richmond said it wouldnt be covered until the lights come on again. They just reset it that time. Three months later in June the lights came on again. This time they attempted to install a rebuilt camera which didnt fix the problem. They had my vehicle from Monday through Wednesday and refused to give me a loaner car. Im very unsatisfied with my new vehicle having problem and even more unsatisfied with Nissan of Richmond. I already overpaid them in the beginning because they added thousands of dollars to the price of the car.Review fromJennifer J

1 starI purchased a 2020 Audi A5 last month with 20k miles; drove the car 2 times (home and to the gym) and noticed there was something hanging from under the front of the car and I could hear this loud dragging sound. I called the dealership to report what was going on and was told to take it to Audi because it was sold as is. I ended up towing the car to *************** and once I arrived they tried to move the car into the service area and then a transmission error came up on the dashboard and the car would not shift out of park into gear. The service consultant asked me if I had seen that error message previously? I said no, I had only driven the car 2 times. They finally got the car moved into the service bay and then I was called to the back to see what was wrong with the car. They had the car up in the air and I could see the front bumper was cracked and the car had been in an accident, the undercarriage was hanging down and there was a visible transmission leak. the service consultant walked me through all the issues and then provided me with an estimate for all of the damage which was over $11,000.I then followed up with the Loyalty Manager, who was not very helfpul and told me that I could not return the car when I shared that I was sold a lemon and was not aware that the car was in an accident. The car was towed back to Nissan, RVA and over the course of 4 days, I received continuous calls from the finance manager, service manager and my sales guy trying to convince me that what hapenned is normal, they tried to convince me they would fix the car and that there was only $3,000 in damages and that they would fix it on my behalf (which they should). I shared that the car should have never been sold to me without being thoroughly inspected. They made every excuse they could and after I told them I had called the credit union to cancel the financing; they finally returned my $5,000 down payment after almost 2 weeks and me informing them I contacted an attorney.
