They sent a technician who was incompetent. Had no clue what he was doing. He was to fix two bib cocks leakage and no hot water to Bath tub.
He went looking for cause , and determined
The pressure was too high in the house.
He checked the house pressure in the bottom of hot water heater. He needed to check the pressure of in coming pressure.
On base of that he told my insurance company that was causing the issues.
Mean while he screwed my pressure regulator, he kept turning pressure regulator
Pressure was not coming down. Because he was checking pressure at wrong spot..
I called the company and they agreed to send someone else out. They were to call
American home should to get are issuances.
But they refused to come out again.
They were trying to scam us to get us to pay
      For their technicians misdiagnoses.
I will never use this company.

Justin came out today, his Customer Service was great, and Justin was very informative. Thank you Justin for your great service.

What was offered did not match what was actually done. I got a call offering cleaning and servicing of my hvac , which included taking the furnace blower assembly out and wash. The technician did not even attempt to take it off, compared to other companies, his work was less than mediocre, he was most interested in selling me a maintenance plan. Would not recommend this company

A tech was sent out via home warranty to look at an ac unit that was not cooling. I was told that the unit had a leak and it would need 15 lbs of refrigerant. My warranty would only cover $10 per pound.

I was quoted $154 per pound for 410a coolant. After calling other HVAC companies I got quotes for each of them for $75-$80 per pound. I called United Temp just to confirm that the tech wasn't confused and they indeed quoted $145 - $295 per pound.

Still wanting to make sure I was correct before accusing anyone I call a family member who owns a HVAC co in Nashville to as the average price per pound in that area for 410a coolant, He said $75 - $80.

I was going to be charged double the price for the coolant. This is a very untrustworthy company,

Had them come out on 1/29/2023 (Sunday) and they diagnosed the furnace was told it needed a gas valve and it would take five days, I asked if they could expedite the part and was willing to pay an additional fee due to it being below freezing this week and having two kids and a puppy in the house was told “every part they order from the manufacturer gets expedited and it could take up to five business day. “ fine.
By Wednesday, we followed up with United air temp and were told it was still on order and to hang time, “if we get it, they would do their best to get it installed the follow day or so.” Fine!
by Friday 2/3/2023, we followed up with our home warranty and found out United air temp never processed the claim to our home warranty to get approval to order the part, we confronted United air temp about it and they have no remorse and they wouldn’t take any accountability.
I would recommend you stay away from doing business with United air temp because they will leave your family high and dry in direr situations.
It will be one week without heat and tonight's low will be 16 degrees and tomorrow will be evening lower at 13 degrees. Shame on you United air temp!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Completely negligent. Our home warranty company sent United Air for every service call we made. For sinks and toilet repairs they used the cheapest products that broke after 60 days (just outside of the 30-day window where our home warranty co would include in same service cost). When our gas furnace needed assessment because we smelled a gas leak and Washington gas shut it off due to CO leak from the furnace, the United Air technician that arrived stated our furnace did not have a leak, it was old, but intact, and just needed cleaning. After he sold us on cleaning he turned the gas and heat back on and left. Within minutes smoke started pouring out of external vent and our CO alarms starting alarming. We had to call the fire department who took an hour to pump the CO out of our house before it was safe to return. We called a different HVAC company who said the United Air Temp tech left a pipe on the external vent disconnected so CO was pumping into our furnace and our house. And our furnace needed to be completely replaced. Our lives were put at risk by this company, do not use them!!

This company came out in January of 2022 and after working with American Home Shield and quoted a very high price and told me a few incorrect items on my repair(s). I declined to use the company. Since then I have received a call from the company over 15 times and each time I have asked to be removed from whatever list I am on. Time will tell if I am ever removed but I have blocked the numbers and then they call from another number. Use a better trusted professional with better customer service and honest technicians.

My warranty company put in an order for them to service my gas furnace which was not working at all around November 17. They came out on the first appointment 19 and was unable to fix it stated they needed to order a part it would take 2 weeks I waited. 2 weeks came schedule the follow-up appointment for them to say the part was wrong after I already took off from work for the service to be completed. They said they needed additional 2 weeks rescheduled again took of work for nothing because the part didn’t come in. So the contractor called again after 2 weeks saying the part still wrong it’s now been a month. I then called the direct line and asked to speak to a supervisor explain everything and the person mention the part was in stock and don’t know why the person who was doing service said it wasn’t in stock 1 minute after I spoke to her while she tried getting in contact with supervisor the tech was calling back saying he have the part which means he lied about not having it because I’m sure she contacted him. I had to send me mom to the house because I already left after her said he didn’t have part. He knew it was no way of fixing it so he lied and said it was a bird stuck in the vent. My warranty company sent a second company out and there was no sign of a bird in the vent just normal wear and tear and need a new furnace CO was present which means they didn’t do their job correctly and I possibly could’ve died because of CO. They gave me the run around. My infant son and myself had to freeze and my pipes could've burst waiting for them. I don't recommend anyone using this company!
