    I made a significant financial commitment by signing a Sales Order/Contract with Lorton Cabinets To Go (CTG) for the demolition and installation of new cabinets, a sink, and a granite countertop, which amounted to $27,646.99. This was financed by ***** Fargo through CTG financing program (see tab G). The demolition, new cabinets, sink, and granite countertop were installed. Countertop Delivery #1: However, the granite countertop was cracked during the first installation (see photos tab D, May 1-3, 2024, pgs. 4-6). Countertop Delivery #2: Granite Vision delivered another 49 piece for the right side of the sink, but this piece was cut from a different part of the stone. It followed an illogical pattern that was an eye soar when buttressed against the piece to the left of it (see photos tab D, May 9, 2024, pgs. *****). What I was given wouldnt be shown in any showroom. Countertop Delivery #3: Despite the third attempt, Granite Vision's delivery of the newly cut 46 9/16 piece and the delivery of the previous 49 1/2 piece on May 28, 2024, was still unsatisfactory. The 49 1/2 piece, which was not supposed to be cut at all, was now cut crooked, and there is a 5/8 gap from the wall. This has rendered the kitchen design unusable, as I cannot install the subway tiles, separately purchased due to the gaps being too far away from the wall. I attempted to resolve the problem with them by altering my design to accommodate a 4 backsplash around the perimeter of the kitchen. They agreed at first but then sent me a schematic for a backsplash that went from the dishwasher to the right of the stove only (see tab I). I have requested they provide a new countertop from the dishwasher to the left of the stove. As of April 15, 2024, If CTG does not have the area of the countertops replaced from the dishwasher to the left side of the range, I want them to remove the countertops and void the sale, taxes, and template cost for the countertops.

    I sent this to BBB on 7/26/2024. It was the first correspondence that I received from Cabinets To Go (CTG) since my filing the BBB complaint ********. The information in the attached email by ****, ************* Specialist Level 2, is the same thing they said before the complaint was filed. The backsplash solution is too risky, as they indicated in previous emails, and it leaves me in a take-it-or-leave-it scenario. I am unwilling to risk $27,646.99 for that which was not in the original contractual agreement.
