      I would rate them 0 if I could. I purchased a recliner and after a few months I started itching. There was something coming from inside the recliner. Some times it looked like a thin piece of wood and other times it was a flake of white stuff. Went to the store for help and offered to buy another one for a discount. This was not a warranty problem it is defective. Sent their flunky to look at it and he told me it was lint.. I had pieces of a lint roller that had brown spots on it. I called corporate and they did nothing but blow me off. I was going to sue them in small claims court but had just been diagnosed with kidney cancer and couldn’t take the stress. Put a quilted cover on it and it’s still itching me. They are so friendly and nice when you purchase but absolutely no service. I will never purchase anything from them again

      We got ripped off. They had a bogo sale and the way the order was written there was no bogo on the recliners we bought. The salesman was not very honest, you could tell he was just worried about the sale. When we paid for the furniture which was 2 recliners and a sofa when we asked about the sale the man doing our paperwork played dumb. So we ended up paying for 2 recliners when we should have just paid for 1 because of the bogo. If we do go back there to purchase anything else we'll be more careful next time.

      I have contacted Corporate They are saying that they are not going to replace my Furniture They fixed it back with Staples that pops out and stick it in my Kids feet They're not honoring their policy. If they can't fix it, they will replace it. I have to block my number to call them because they will not return my phone calls. I asked them To take the furniture back, I no longer wanted it. They said it would be a repo on my credit. Never will I gain by anything from schewels If I could show you the pictures of the furniture I would.

      Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Typically, we are able to replace furniture under warranty that cannot be repaired. However, since the type of damage done to your sectional was not covered under warranty, it prevented us from being able to go this route. As a courtesy, the store repaired the damage at no cost and attempted to give the sectional back. Since the delivery was refused, the sectional was taken back to the store. We apologize that we were unable to meet your expectations with regard to the repairs. The sectional is still in the store’s possession and can be brought back to you to avoid your account from being negatively impacted. Again, thank you for feedback.

      I would never go to the store in ************ **. The credit lady is the most disrespectful and rude person in the world. The furniture breaks within a month of having it. My kitchen table chairs are splitting down the sides and are falling apart. The recliner sofa and love seat are falling apart and will only recline through great force and the same to get it to go back up. I have had the furniture for maybe a year at most and has been falling apart since 1 month after i got it. I would have returned but last time i did this they still tried to charge me for a kitchen table i had returned. They kept it on my credit and put me down for non payment, which almost caused me to not get a mortage for my house due to non payments of a loan. It took a lot of fighting, phone calls, and time spent inside the store to finally get it fixed. If you are 1 day late they lock you out of your account so you have to call in to pay. They then have some different amount they want you to pay than what your actual amount is. When you question the amount the women there get loud and act like it is their furniture and you owe them personally for it. They have drug addicts employed as the delivery drivers and they expect you to let them in your home. I don't want addicts in my home to scope out what I have and come back later. All in all terrible furniture that breaks

      I bought a electric recliner couch and loveseat with a warranty. The couch had got a stain on it and the when you raise the recliner a weird noise started. I called the store and they gave me another number to call, which they didn’t tell me when I bought the furniture. I called and they supposedly sent out a sofa arm for me to replace.. really… after no call back or getting arm piece. I ask that the sofa be replaced..they did and now this sofa wood on the back part is coming through the material and no one sits on this piece.. mind you this is a recliner and they want to replace the material and says nothing about wood chipping. I’ve spent my last dollar and time at this store… I will also tell my family and friends don’t buy there anymore…management has no customer relationship skills… no call backs at all.. this is not going away… Schewels commercial is a fraud..

      My wife recently purchased a lift chair from you in ********** *** She has a broken leg, so she called the store to check availability. Since she was paying with our credit card she was directed to online website and ordered it. The store in ********* only had one which was a floor model. When we got it home (we picked it up at the store because it was Saturday 12/10/22) it was not what she wanted. It wouldn't recline back enough. No receipt, no info on returns, nothing was given to us but how the chair works. We called the store and notified them it wouldn't work for us. They then informed us that we could NOT bring it back ourselves and that there would be a $120.00 charge to pick it up and a 10% restocking fee. When asked about the receipt and all this info we didn't know of or receive, we were told it was in the mail, which hasn't run yet btw. Poor way to do business, it cost me over $200.00 for all this mess and I'm very dissatisfied. WE were told today that it was all on the website. I mean come on, really? We can pick it up at the store but can't bring it back AND have to pay $120.00, what a scam and racket. I want my $120.00 back...lol you can keep the restocking fee. Please reply ASAP. THIS TRANSACTION HAPPENED IN THE ********* *** STORE AND THIS EMAIL WAS INTENDED TO GO TO CORPORATE

      I definitely will never buy anything from schewels again. I bought a bed set from them in 2020 and within a few months the edge had collapsed and the bed was sagging hard. I called to check what I could do and they said they would send someone out to inspect the mattress couple weeks go by and the guy comes and determined the bed was free of stains and looked like a quality issue and that someone would contact me. Months go by I've heard from no one and I call and they say they would check the report and get things moving a year later I still haven't had a resolution and the mattress looks worse than any other mattress I've ever had and it's only a year old. Eventually I call again and by this time it's about 2 years in we've moved and the bottom of the bed frame is breaking down and the mattress needs to completely be thrown out so before purchasing a new mattress from somewhere else I call schewels back and they say you were approved for a new mattress it shows we reached out one time and never followed up again which is also wrong because they never called me. So I come all the way to the store to pick a new mattress then the guy says there is only one I can get without having to pay extra so basically I had no choice in which mattress I got and had no reason to drag my three kids to the next town to pick a mattress. A week goes by and they deliver the mattress still having to inspect that my two year old mattress has no stains or the warranty is voided and the leave me the new mattress and take the old one seems great right well we've had the mattress for 3 months and I rotate it so it's not used up on one end and I be ****** if I don't see the edge collapsing already on this 3 month old supposedly brand new mattress. There's no way they are going to replace this one and at this rate I will need a new mattress again in a year or so really wish I never went through them to begin with and after reading other reviews I see this is not uncommon.

      We purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs from Schewels in ******** **. in November of 2021, We were told it had a year warranty. In October of 2022 we contacted Schewels that the finish was coming off the table and chairs. The table was the worst. They told us they would be sending someone out to check it out which took about 2 weeks and then this person was to get back in touch with the store and they were suppose to let us know something. It's been 2 more weeks and we started calling them to see what they were gonna do. Three times we called they said someone would be calling us back and they never did until today, 11-18-2022. They inform us that they can only issue a store credit and not a refund because we've had it a year. I told them that we did not purchase the table until November and we contacted them about the problem at 11 months. We would like to have our money back because there is nothing else in the store that we need or want and they were contacted before the year was up. The table and chairs was $675 plus tax and they only want to give back 75% of my money. I am not satisfied. They were contacted before the year was up. If there's anything you can do to help us with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

      I ordered furniture in February 2021. I was aware that some items would take some time to be delivered. It is now September 2022 and I still do not have the bench for my dining room table. I have called the local store multiple times, each time I am told it should be here in 1-2 months. This is absolutely ridiculous. Very poor customer service. I am to the point I am considering canceling this order, but the customer service has been so poor I worry that I won't get my money back for the purchase.

We double-checked our records, and unfortunately, it is still on backorder. Since we are only a furniture retailer, we are many times at the mercy of the manufacturer when it comes to backordered items. Our store has diligently kept in contact with the manufacturer and the estimated delivery date continues to get pushed back. We completely understand how frustrating this must be.
      Our store manager previously offered to refund the money you paid for the bench and has reached out to you via phone and email to discuss these options again.
