Received a telephone call from a Mr. ****** Hartley13 Feb 2024explaining the service provided by INSTAFIXUS for my computer and the package sounded very good that they would check my computer if I had any problems, the cost would be $475.19 for 3 years of computer support.I called in for support around 29 September as my computer was running slow while the tech was on, I noticed that some of my documents were being looked at. I did not give it great thought at the time until i went *** use my system and found that documents were missing. These missing g documents took quite a bit of work to replace. At this point I sent an email to them on 6 Aug 2024 requesting they close my account and refund my money. on 8 August I received a telephone call from INSTAFIXUS telling me they would need to get access to my bank account to do this, they asked me to transfer $500.00 from my savings to my checking account which I started to do, instead I called the bank and stopped the transfer and placed a hold on all my accounts. The tech started to open my documents again. this is when I hung up. they tried calling me begging me to pick up the phone which I did not, none of my **** or debit cards no longer work for them I have reestablished new accounts.Initial Complaint

On or about August 22nd, 2024, my 90 year old mother thought she was contacting ***** support but the number that came up on her screen was for Instafixus. Like other complaints listed here, she was mislead into thinking they provided online support and told she needed a 3 year contract and they deducted $699 from her checking account. My mother was so confused she had no idea how they even got her account information. This is predatory and disgusting. Our bank looked into it and noticed it is a scam and is working to reverse the charge. this business needs to cease and desist and never contact my mother now or in the future.Initial Complaint

I paid $299.99 online to Instafixus LLC for technical support for 3 years on 1/27/2023. The first day I purchased it with my credit card I got help that one day and since I have made several attempts calling and texting them and to no avail, but one time and the man was mad I got up him and he acted like he was hung over and did not help me and had an attitude. I tried several times, and the phone number is no longer a working number. I tried disputing it with my credit card department and I do not have a contract only what they sent me through e mail, and I know I was ripped off. I would like a refund if you could help! was on the phone with ********* who was supposed to transfer the call to one of their subdivisions but instead somehow the call went to Instafixus who told me my service was compromised and they could restore it and provide security but it cost $350.00 for 3 years.. They gave me their phone number and said they would be available 24/7 which was not true. If I called them there was no answer and no one ever called me back. My wife and I are in our 80s and I believe we were taken in by this person.Business Response

2-15-2024 to work on my computer ect... did so. have had trouble, they fixed it again. 4-1-2024 had trouble again ,they couldn't fix it, said call the next day, same thing ect... so I want it fixed or money back CALLED. On Wednesday 3/27/2024 I called Xfinity about an issue with an email that was lost. Xfinity said ****** handled those issues. I went on the ****** site to find technical support. I reached Instafixus and after the scanned the computer said there was a Trojan virus the our none of the security apps could prevent from infecting computers. After a few hours on the phone they said we needed a firewall which would protect the computer from being hacked. The cost would be $.75 a day for 2 years or $.60 a day for 3 years. They needed a check for the amount of $799.99 to set up the firewall. This seemed very expensive but wanted the issue resolved. What a Mistake! Later read a notice on our banking page about scammers who say they can help us for $$$Customer Answer

These people conned me into thinking that my computer was being hacked and lured me into a protection service in on 3-14-2024 and charged me $699 for a 3 year contract, on which I made a down payment in the amount of $199.I have come to realize that they are scammers preying on the elderly.Initial Complaint

They ripped me off for $899.99, and told me they would refund the money to my account. But they never did, and now have blocked my phone number, so I cannot call them. When I first realized they were a Fraud, is when they ask me for my login name & pin number. That is when I changed my Debit card & tried calling them for a refund.. As per the customer's desired resolution and our refund policy we have tried to processed the Refund but the refund was not successful as customer might have cancelled the card Attached is the Refund Receipt of the same.And also Customer raised a dispute with the bank so we have received the chargeback of the same and money was credited to customer bank.Attached is the refernece of the chargeback document.

Two people from Instafixus have taunted me, ***** & *****, which I doubt are their real names. They keep saying that they have tried to put the refund in my old Debit Card number but it kept coming back to them. They are lying, my Bank has had no communication from them, they are trying to get my new Debit Card number. NO WAY. Also two days after my initial contact with them they ask for my Bank login & pin number. That is when I went to my Bank changed my Debit Card & Bank login. Then I had to pay a **************** $65 to remove all there ****, plus he told me they had tried several times to get into my Bank Account. *************************
Also I might add now only are they a scam company, but they have committed Fraud. Thank you for your kind consideration, *************************

I am rejecting this response because:They are not telling the truth. My Bank has told me they have not had any contact with Instafixus. My Bank also told me that if indeed they tried to refund to my old card it would be put into my account. ***** was trying to get me to give him my new Debit card number, and I will not do that. Also, when this first started they ask for my login &= pin number. Thats when I changed my debit card number & my login & pin number. Also, the company that I had remove all there junk, told me they had tried tio get in to my bank account.

I have not heard anything from Instafixus, they are a bunch of liares & will probably never give me the $899.99 they beat me out of. I really wish there was someway to make them pay me the money they owe.
