I sent the email below Sunday night via Messenger and asked the young man at the front desk to have a Manager call me regarding this matter. It has been totally disregarded. It is Wednesday evening and I have not received a phone call or email regarding this matter. Below is a copy of the message I sent via Messenger and shared with the gentleman at the front desk Sunday night except my personal contact information.

      Good Evening,
I need a manager to call me regarding my hotel experience. My mom and I checked in Friday with other family members also staying here until tomorrow also.

There were a few things that we were willing to overlook like the rust spot in the bathroom, missing iron in one of the bedrooms, flush valve that didn't fill the water up when I flushed the toilet and I had to manually lift it or the living room TV that didn't work. But when I came in my room tonight and turned on the light to see a roach on the kitchen counter and another on the table, I found myself very disappointed. I immediately went downstairs to the gentleman at the front desk who was very apologetic and helpful. Without asking, he immediately changed our hotel room. But I have to say, this is both disappointing and concerning. I would like to speak with a manager before placing a review regarding my hotel experience on Expedia. I will be flying back to Maryland late tomorrow morning.

I have never had such a horrific experience at a hotel. I booked a stay with Embassy Suites in Downtown Denver for a conference I was attending. It was also during my son's bday so I chose the hotel for their indoor pool and other amenities. We ended up having a really rough travel experience and didn't get to the hotel until around 4am. The employee at the desk was so incredibly rude. She snapped and me and another guest then threw my keys at me. When I commented on her attitude, she began verbally attacking me, stormed towards me threatening to fight me. She chased me to the elevator and continued to scream at me while I asked her to leave me alone. I am 25 weeks and pregnant was super emotional. I called Hilton Customer Service to alert them. While on the phone she had security come and threaten to call the police if we didn't leave. The customer service rep rebooked us at Home2Suites down the road. When we arrived there, the security guard told us he would not let us in because his friends had called him from Embassy and told him not to. Eventually, the manager spoke with someone on the phone and "let" us stay. We were charged for both hotels. I have spoken to the "escalations team" at Hilton 3 times now. After pleading my case I was able to get charges from the Embassy refunded but they seem to think that the experience we had was fine at the Home2Suites because they allowed us to stay. The entire time we were there I feared for my safety. The "security" guard who originally refused to let us stay was there each night and was supposed to be the one protecting us. When you leave your home to enjoy a vacation you are paying for a certain experience. I don't think that includes being threatened. Even bare minimum hotels offer safety and respect for their guests and I'm shocked that I am paying premium Hilton prices to be attacked repeatedly.

This review is about Hilton Garden Inn Waldorf, Maryland. We stayed mid May for 5 days and we could not get any towels, toilet paper, or the basic room turn down service for the entire time. We only asked for towels the morning after our first night and they promised to send them and they never did. They promised every day to send the basic necessities of the room each day apologizing for their promises not being fulfilled each day and nothing. I called Hilton corporate customer service to complain and they still couldn't resolve anything. They said someone will reach out to me in 48 hrs and I had to call them after a week. They are telling me since it is a third party I booked with they can't do anything but give me 20$ for a 700$ plus terrible stay where we couldn't even get fresh towels!! I call BS and Hilton should do everything they can to fix this embarrassment of customer service! Never again Hilton. 0 stars if I could.

I was in Albany April 17-21 for a conference for the sheriff's association, on that Friday the 21st, I realized I had left my sneakers in my room when I got back home to unpack, naturally I called to see if they would mail them to me. The lady was super nice & helpful, she got my card number to pay for shipping & told me she would mail them out the beginning of the following week. A week or so went by & my card never got charged & my shoes never showed up. So, I called back down about 2 weeks ago & this next girl I talked to was so rude, very snippy, made me feel stupid for calling & asking about my shoes after I told her the story. I asked her if she had a tracking number for my shoes, she didn’t & I could hear another person in the background laughing about “how they were gone”. Obviously, if there was no charge on my credit card, they should still have my shoes there… since they don’t, someone that works there has them. When I asked her if I could speak to the lady that I first spoke with a few weeks prior she flat out said no, “she is out for surgery & could direct all my questions through her”. I emailed the Hilton Guest Assistance & received back a “sincere apology” & they said they forwarded my concerns to the management team (the people who have my shoes?) at the hotel & I would receive a follow up in 3 days. Of course, I never heard anything back, which in itself is rude.
I was back in Albany this past week & thought maybe they were just misplaced so I asked the front desk again if there were any shoes left, & they weren’t.
It is absolutely unacceptable that my shoes can’t be found, & I am disgusted someone is walking around in my sweaty gym shoes. & also disgusted I must purchase another $120 pair of shoes…
I have emailed people, called, nothing is being done, no one has even reached out to me. Such a shame...
On top of the bed bug/ant problem they have, AND the fact they don't thoroughly clean their rooms.
I wish I could give them zero stars.

Company advertised a rate/night on their website but ended up overcharging me over $100/night extra. I called customer service to complain, but I was told nothing could be done. I have booked with Hilton over 20 years but I have never encountered false advertising like this before.

I was working here as a house keeper laundry person, I had mentioned that I am disabled and can provide medical files for proof. I was doing everything possible within my power to work and stay focused at all times. They fire disabled people. I was fired because I wasn't able to perform fast whilst alone, my help had called in and I was all alone because no one else in the house keeping department knew how to fold laundry or help me. When I asked how to use the extra hand equipment, nobody knew how to and the people who knew how wouldn't answer their phones or come in to help. I have cerebral palsy, ADHD, short term memory loss and I am bipolar and it was shortly after I had mentioned all this that they had fired me because I didn't know how to do one thing. I'm leaving this review so people know not to apply if they are disabled or are physically/mentally incapable of handling working alone since this business does not care. Even if you provide medical files or information they will still go around that and fire you if you do not know how to do something, I had mentioned that I have medical issues and cannot handle work alone and they STILL fired me! I am physically and mentally disabled and they knew that and still fired me all because I needed help with something and they did not know anything about what I was doing. I had to teach a house keeping supervisor how to fold towels because they do not train their supervisors to do anything before they promote them. I want to make it known that I will not be applying to any positions for this business ever again because they do not care if me or someone is disabled, they will still fire you if your disabilities effect your work and any effort you put into this business. This was at Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia MO **** ******** ******

Do NOT book the Embassy Suites in Colorado Springs for corporate travel. I booked three guests in January, very specific about wanting the corporate rate. On guest checkout in April, Embassy Suites charged the non-corporate rate, which is much higher. Their story changed to "we don't have a contract for a corporate rate with your university." That sure would have been a useful piece of information for them to have mentioned in January, as I would have booked our guests somewhere else. Bad business practice, so I will not book them again, even for personal travel.

You step inside and you think, hmmm nice. Wait until you enter your room. We had a corner suite and experience a broken bed, dingy carpeting, broken dresser (doors leaning on floor) and air duct blew flowing moldy air. The one room suite we were moved to was better, but the toilet wouldn't flush at 2am so we had to wait until after 8am for someone to fix it; (which the person showed up after 10am). It worked that day but the next morning, AGAIN, toilet would not flush. Was told we would be compensated for our stay and the bill would reflect a ZERO BALANCE. Our stay was 4 nights and departing on May 7th the bill was zero. On May 9th my debit card was charged a $467.15. Have called front desk several time and the Manager is there. Lef word on manager's phone and still no return call.

Hilton uses its hotels as a base to launch sales attacks on its customers trying to sell time shares - Hilton Grand Vacations. If you look up Hilton grand vacations on the Internet, you will see people trying unsuccessfully to get rid of them. Hilton gets tens of thousands of dollars up front plus never ending fees for these timeshares and people complain that they are worthless. It is totally obnoxious that Hilton uses its properties to try to scam its customers.

We stayed at the Hilton Residence Inn in Mount Pleasant where we were subjected to predatory sales practices. first, I’m over 65 and feel that I was targeted. We were on vacation attending happy hour in the hotel lobby when we were approached by a man wearing a Hilton badge. He was very friendly and inquired about our stay. He ingratiated himself and confirmed that he really did work for Hilton when he gave us 500 Hilton points, apparently for no reason at all. He showed us where to go on a map and gave us some discounts on amenities in town. Then the sales pitch began about the Hilton grand vacations. We immediately explained to him that we were not interested in a timeshare. He told us it wasn’t a timeshare. That was the first false statement. He blathered on about the great opportunity he was offering us. We refused many times but he would not take no for an answer. I told him that it was happy hour and we had been drinking to leave us his card and we would look into it. He said he did not have any business cards. I believe that was said because he wanted, in my estimation, to close the deal while we were inebriated and certainly before we could investigate. He and various partners lurk at all of the public areas in the hotel, including the restaurant. We kept running into him. Having to run into someone who works for Hilton everywhere in the hotel who is trying to scam you is major annoyance while on vacation.

I stayed here over the weekend, when leaving I noticed items were missing. When I alerted the front desk, I was told by them that break ins happen here all the time and that the police have an idea who it is. I was also told that they were looking for guns. I called the police to write a report, then the front desk comes out with a piece of paper that she wants to take a report. My address and phone number wasn't even right on the slip she was handing me. Next, the desk clerk tells me that no one can watch video because only the manager can and she's off and her office is closed but she will call me in the morning. That never happened I call speak to the manager who takes another report from me says she is going to review video and make some calls and call me back. Well 7 hours later she calls stating that she is going to comp a night. I asked about if she was able to review video and she says "No, I'm going to wait till an officer comes and then just let them watch it" I parked right outside the hotel entrance, in plan site of a camera that maybe didnt work and is only there as a ploy that didnt help in this situation. No customer remorse no sorry this happened to you.No trying to help me retrieve what was taken from me.And being told by the front desk that break ins happen at this location all the time and that when military stay that several cars are broken in to. I was also told that there is a security guard that is posted outside till 7am but the manager stated "well he is stationed inside the building???" I guess he's there inside in case a robbery happens to them!!!Take my advice do not stay here! The workers have no interest in helping their guest.
