      If I could give MTG, owned by *****************, zero stars I would. They were contracted in March to build a screened porch on the back of our house, and replace the existing deck. We paid them the security deposit upon signing the contract. After a month and a half and extremely poor communication (not returning emails phone calls or texts for days on end), **************** finally filed for permits, only to have those permits rejected. He made up some ridiculous story about how we couldn't build the screened porch because then emergency vehicles couldn't get through our backyard (totally refuted by the representative at the county permit office). After two months, we had to cancel the project, and Mr. ***** said he would return the remainder of our security deposit (minus permit filing fees and survey fee). Now he is ghosting us and not returning emails, phone calls or texts. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! We will be filing a claim in small claims court.

      We entered into a contractual agreement with Metropolitan Tradesman Group to replace our roof in March 2018. We noticed water staining on drywall on 2nd floor ceiling on December 26, 2022 and when we looked in the attic the entire back half of the roof was wet on the inside of the plywood. We contacted Julio F**** that day to make him aware of the problem and he said he would take care of it right away. A man who identified himself as a subcontractor of Julio's called us and made an appointment for the day after New Years (1-2-2023) and he did not show up. Julio F**** never responded to calls or text messages again. We had to pay Augustine Roofing of Sterling VA to replace the back half of the roof and most of the plywood that was soaked. Less than 5 years after Metropolitan Tradesman Group installed a new 25-year roof, that cost us over $15,000, we had to pay $7000 to replace ½ of it. The owner of the business (Julio F****) was unwilling to do anything about it. Do not trust them to build anything for you. They installed sub-standard work in my home and then did not stand behind it.
