    In April 2020, started a membership of $3 per month for access to services to track and hopefully sanction scam phone calls to my personal phone number. I recently accessed my account for the website and discovered that, even though I have been charged every month $3, every benefit and feature in the website requires upgrading my account to a $36 every 2 months membership level. I never received any notice or option to opt-out of my membership or close my account.I contacted customer support and they informed me that since November 2020, my membership level has been phased out and effectively I've been paying every month but received no benefits or feature access anymore. I requested to be reimbursed for the 27 months that had had elapsed since they made this change but they only offered 4 months of payments reimbursed.

    The customer emailed us on 6 January 2023 ultimately requesting the cancellation of his account and reimbursement of all payments since the inception of his subscription. On 8 January 2023 following more correspondence, his account was closed, his payment method was unlinked, and he was issued a refund for all monthly charges dating back to 3 June 2021.

    DoNotPay is a scammer business. They advertised services with their subscription that were not available after paying. Despite cancelling with a representative immediately after discovering this, I have been charged three times by DoNotPay. While two charges are for $36, the amount of the subscription, one is for $45 with no explanation. Worst of all, one $36 charge and the $45 charge are to a savings account I did not authorize DoNotPay to use rather than the checking account I signed up with. I have been in contact with their customer support, who just say the $45 charge failed and refuse to ************* questions about the other charges, what each charge was for, and why my savings account was charged when I did not give them permission to do so.

    The customer emailed us on 7 December 2022 requesting account closure and a refund. On 8 December 2022, his refund was queued. The customer requested another refund for a failed payment of $45, which could not be done (because no money was received in the first place). His account is closed and all successful transactions associated with that account have been refunded.

    I signed up for DoNotPay to try to get robo callers to leave me alone and remove spam emails. I was still receiving emails and phone calls. I also did not know that a subscription was required. So essentially the app does not work and they charged me for a subscription that I cancelled and they say Ive been using it since June. I just signed up October.

    The customer emailed us on 24 October 2022 requesting a refund of the $36 payment charged on 06/11/22 upon agreeing to a subscription. On 25 October 2022, he was informed that a refund could not be issued due to his usage of the product: 25 tasks were submitted, many of which were successfully completed.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I was not a member at the time in June, I have submitted proof of that. I was also not notified that I would be charged, may I also add that the services did not work. I was; and am still receiving spam emails. Your company simply does not work and this is just more proof of that because you cant even submit a refund. Thank you.

    Partial refund they have given; not yet a full refund.Business days have passed, zero response.By this company I'm owed: 5.38$.They asked for bank account screenshots.I have provided screenshots to them.Awaiting my remaining refund 5.38$.

    The customer made two payments: once for a subscription created on January 2022 and another for a subscription created in June 2022 (after the first was canceled and refunded upon request), both of which were canceled and refunded.

    I read their article about their virtual credit card service, no price info was shown. I then started the signed up process for an account by entering my email, nothing about a subscription or price was shown.The next step was a payment method, I was expecting this for a virtual credit card, nothing about a subscription or price was shown.I immediately received a charge for $36.In order to contact support I needed to do the next step verify my email so I entered the number from the email.Their support is only by email so I sent a message asking for refund and to cancel the account or I will initiate a charge back.Looking through the account on the profile page was a subscription box, and I immediately deactivated the monthly the auto-renewal.I then looked up information about DoNotPay, and it indicated this was a scam company.
