    I booked a trip through fishing booker while on vacation in Hilton Head, got confirmation and confirmed with the captain. I showed up for the trip at the marina at 7 a.m. (got up at 5 a.m. and drove for 30 minutes to get there) and the captain did not show up for the trip. After 20 minutes of waiting on him with my son, I texted and he said that he would need to cancel the trip (he could not make it). Fishing Booker will not allow me to leave a review for the trip because the captain cancelled (again, 20 minutes after we were supposed to start and only after I reached out to him). This service seems to not want a full view of their captains service shared/reflected on their site. I would not use them as a service because you cannot truly understand the service you'll get.

    Hello Nathan, thank you for your review. We're very sorry that things turned out this way. Short notice cancellations are the last thing you want on your vacation, especially when you're travelling with family.

    From what we understand, you had two trips booked with the same captain. One took place on July 14th and had to be cut short due to your schedule, which you confirmed with the captain. The second trip was due to take place on July 18th, but the captain canceled due to unexpected mechanical issues. The deposit for this trip was refunded to you. 

    Safety is our biggest concern at FishingBooker, both for captains and customers. Unfortunately, mechanical issues can happen last minute, which is why we make sure your deposit is protected and returned to you ASAP in the event of such a cancellation.

    Once your captain canceled this second trip due to mechanical issues, he reached out to let us know that you changed your review for the first trip from 5 stars to 1 star. At this time, we received confirmation that you asked them to refund half of the previous trip's balance, or you would change your review to a lower score. As you might recall, our Customer Happiness team reached out to you with this information and let you know that we'd be removing your review. 

    We want to make sure that each captain receives a fair review based on their services. We understand how frustrating it must have been to get a last-minute cancellation, and that your overall experience wasn't as expected. However, the captain did provide a good experience on your first trip and unfortunately had boat issues on the second day. We hope this clarifies why we didn't publish your review.

    Once again, we're very sorry that you didn't get to go fishing on that second day. We thank you for taking the time to share your experience here - this helps us better our service towards customers and guides alike. All the best from FishingBooker.

    Absolutely phenomenal fishing experience, I recommend Capt Stuart, we caught a Maui Maui, tuna, and had lots of fun, great friendly crew, I highly recommend **** ********* for your offshore fishing experience and for sure they will put you on the fish🙌⭐ï��⭐ï��⭐ï��⭐ï��⭐ï��

    Captain Ted and First Mate Erin were the best! We were four fishermen, three older men and my 14 year old son. Ted and Erin are a great team. Knowledge, skills, equipment, and friendliness and care were top notch. It helped that our trip's weather was perfect and the fish cooperated mightily! Ted knew exactly were to find abundant walleye and he and Erin ensured we caught our limits (lots of delicious fish in the freezer!) And cleaned and packaged all. I highly recommend Crooked Creek Charters out of Ashtabula Ohio fishing Lake Erie! We had a great experience.

    Wow! FishingBooker really made my trip planning easy. It also gave me peace of mind knowing that I could cancel within 3 days of the trip if I was unable to be there or make it on time.
    I wish there was a "FishingBooker" available for my industry to use to book services.
