    My vehicle was taken in to repair on Nov.18th of 2024. I have been in very little contact if any with dealership. I have reached out to service managers service techs the ladies that answer phones. And I do not receive a call back. I am beyond understanding why a dealership can take my vehicle for almost 3 months. They say it is due to the holidays that just passed. I'm so confused to why my vehicle is still in the repair shop. Please Help!

    Have been waiting for the engine to arrive which it has, and it is being installed in the vehicle now. The Customer has been notified, and the GM of the store is now currently involved.

    My car has been in the possession of this dealership since April 26,2024.. they haven’t properly diagnosed my vehicle to tell me what exactly is wrong with it.. they giving me useless information, not giving me legit updates, don’t return phone calls. And I’ve asked to speak with the general manager numerous times.. he never returns phone calls or emails. The warranty on my vehicle covers most of the damage.. and my car is much worse then when I first took it to them.. and they still have the car in their possession.. with no realistic timeline as to when they will be finished.. it’s completely ridiculous & absurd as to why they have held my car for more then 7months!

    Customer needs additional part to complete repairs (AC condenser needs to be replaced customer had it replaced previously at another facility. Dealer creplaced ac expansion line but veh needs condenser as well. Dealer is willing to provide labor and Refrigerant to complete the job, but customer must supply the additional parts.,

    I am rejecting this response because: it’s been 7months since the dealership has had my vehicle.. I’ve been told multiple different problems about my vehicle.. went by the dealership on Sat 10/19/2024 and my car is sitting way in the back of the parking lot, on flat tires…. Which the problems in question never been issues prior to me bringing my car to this dealership.. the service department has not communicated nothing to me.. no phone calls or emails, I have to physically go to the dealership in person to find any updates… and get lied to every time…. My car has been at this dealership since 04/26/2024..

    April 1st, 2024, my car was diagnoses with a leaking a/c line by the dealership, I prepaid for the part. I was given an April 13th install date. that didn't happen, because no one would return my calls to confirm. on April 16th went to the dealership and talked to the service Mr. ******** he told me that the part came in on the 15th, so he setup my appointment for the 20th at 7am. on that day I was told the wrong part was ordered. so, my next appointment was the 27th of April setup my Mr* ******* my air was working. that was a Saturday. it stopped working the next day (Sunday). I took it back 3 days later (delayed by work schedule) and Mr* ****** took it into the shop and later told me that the air condenser was leaking. I told him that the shop misdiagnosed my car. he said no and started giving some type of straw analysis (making excuses). I told him that I paid for some repairs that I didn't need, and that I'm requesting a refund. I was told that can't be done. so, I gave them $****** to fix my car, when it wasn't fixed at all. it worked one day because they recharged the freon, and once that leaked out of the air condenser I'm back where I started, because the problem wasn't fixed due to misdiagnose by the dealership. although they took my money.
    I'm asking for a full Refund or fix my vehicle correctly.

    Response from Dealer,

     Mr ****** came to the Southern ****** in Norfolk Virginia with a complaint of no A/C. Dealer found an A/C suction line leaking, Dealer replaced leaking line and released vehicle.

    Vehicle returned several days later with the system out of refrigerant again at which time the technician was able to see a leak in the A/C condenser,due to the dye installed on the last visit.

    The dealer gave the results to the customer and the customer feels that we misdiagnosed the problem , but in fact we only failed to find the additional part that was necessary. The dealer will be  

    happy to Install the necessary part (Condenser) if the customer purchases the part. The Dealer will provide the Labor and the refrigerant to complete the repair.

    I recently purchased a car on November 12, 2022. During the purchasing process, they told me that some things were already included in the purchase price. This includes paint and interior protection, LoJack services, and a tracking System. Upon reviewing my contact, I saw that it was not included but it was an additional charge. In the contract it also stated that the items were not required to purchase the vehicle. I reached out to the dealership and told them that I wanted everything removed. They told me that it cannot be removed and they put it on all their cars. They stated that they sell the cars at that price due to them adding in the add ons which is illegal. I told them that legally they cannot advertise a car for a certain price but refuse to sell it at that price without extra add ons. I have been calling and emailing them and they refuse to contact me back.

    We have offered to take the car back and let her out of the deal completely. Due to the structure of the deal, 21% rate and bank fee, we discounted the online price to fit the bank call back. We do not tell customers they must buy the add-ons. They are highly recommended and all our customers enjoy the added security and protection. We will gladly unwind the deal. At this point, if a customer interview is not completed with the finance source, this deal will not fund.
