    Refurbished - *********** Latitude 5300 will not hold charge, must be plugged in to use. Returned and they sent replacement which also will not hold a charge and screen was disconnected. Called numerous times and emailed, they never returned call. I contacted ******, they contacted TekRefurb. ********* said it was past the 90 day return time frame (that is because they never returned my calls or emails.)

    I tried to contact the company numerous times, no one ever answered The phone I left a message each time explaining exactly what the problem was along with my phone number. I also responded to them on ****** when I first purchased the laptop. It would not hold a charge so the laptop had to be plugged in at all times in order to use. I had already paid geek squad from Best Buy to download all of my information for my old computer to the new computer, but I sent it back To Tekrefurb anyway, techrefurb sent me another laptop, which also did not hold a charge and the screen was falling off. That is why I tried to contact them. I have not been able to use the laptop since I got it.

    Please see attached for deliverydates.  I had already had all of my information transferred from one laptop onto the new laptop And paid geek squad to do that.  Tekrefurb Told me to send the Laptop back to them so I had to back it up onto a hard drive and send it out to them. I work all the time and I had to do this in my off time.  When I got the other laptop back, I had the exact same problem. It would not hold a charge, but this time not only did it not hold a charge. The screen was disconnected.  I also tried to contact them several times and did not get a call back. I tried to email them. Did not get an email back.  The reason it seems to take so long is because I dont have a laptop to type all this information in and I have to use my phone to respond to both you Tekrefurb.  As you can see when they finally got the other laptop back to me there were only a few days left from the original laptop warranty. This was a different laptop.

    When I first received the computer tower, it wouldnt work because the 8 GB ram motherboard doesnt work so the tower is currently running. Im only a gigabyte ram when its supposed to have a 16 GB ram I called and complained about that. Wish they resolved and are supposedly sending two new a gigabyte ram Motherboards . Im having trouble with my dual monitors being set up and on the phone discovered that the display port and the *** port on the tower are also bad. Apparently their customer service does not like customers being upset that things do not work. I did not yell at them and I did not cuss at them yet I was told I was being rude because I asked if they check their products before shipping them to their customers which is a valid question not being rude. So they hung up on me and blocked my number from being able to call the support needed for my product that I bought from them with no resolution to fix it.

    I was not rude I did not yell or swear or be frantic or anything of that nature I asked a simple question dont you check your products before sending them to customers and they said that was rude to ask. They were rude frantic and extreme! To block my number from being able to contact support for help on a product they sold that was bad in multiple ways. This is a terrible company! I wasnt mad I called for trouble shooting. And they determined it was broke. Im not paying for shipping to return it. They should send me a replacement and with return labels in box for me to send this one back! I shouldnt have to be out of work for their mistakes and attitude.

    I fixed the issue I was calling them about. I had called for trouble shooting.. they jumped straight to the system being broken. A setting for my security feature had to be changed. Had their customer service *** been properly trained none of this would have been an issue. I do how ever require the original issue be resolved. They were supposed to send me a ***lacement 16gb ram and cancelled the delivery. I want it sent back out. I got the dual display ports working on my own.

    I paid $279.25 to ********** Aug 27th,2023 on amazon.com.Within the 90 day return period, the laptop had developed battery issues and I returned the laptop recently. Everything I originally received was included when I shipped it back, in the same condition as it was in.When they received the return, they refunded me a single cent as "goodwill." So they intended to keep $200+ to themselves with the laptop, leaving me shortchanged out of the product and my moneym Upon looking up ********** on ****** reviews, found out that they have attempted to scam numerous buyers so far. I am working with Amazon to get my money back with a claim, but this business clearly continues to carry this malpractice. I've never had an issue like this on Amazon before.

    At no point did I attack or approach this business rudely. In fact, that wasn't even possible to do from my end before any of this even happened. I received a refund of 1 cent without any further communication from them, which is when I decided to escalate the case all ghe way up to the executive ******** of ******* I never personally wrote to the business. Amazon's executive ******** eventually took care of me, and even expressed distaste for the seller's actions. They had to pay for the seller's unprofessional behavior. I have attached evidence.

    Stay away from anything this company is selling. I purchased a refurbished laptop from them through ******** The laptop was barely used over a few months and suddenly stopped working. It won't even power on. When I contacted the company, they referred me back to ******** who referred me back to them. When I told them this, they simply told me they could not do anything. I inquired again and they claimed I was past their 90 day protection plan. After pointing out I was not past the 90 day window when I first contacted them, the ignored me for several days before just flat refusing to fix or replace the computer. This computer was probably used for less than 10 hours before it died. The only thing worse than their products is their customer service.

    Most online portals offer a 90 Day repair and replace, which includes Amazon,Newegg and Walmart.  After the ***************************************** addressed.

    There are very economical extended warranty add-ons on all portals to help with these concerns.

    The computer I purchased was delivered on November 28th, 2022.  I purchased the computer as a Christmas present for my wife so it was not even turned on until December 25th.  (While this has no bearing on whether or not the computer is beyond the 90 window provided by ***********, it does go to show support of my claim the computer had very little use prior to it no longer working.)  An attachment showing the delivery date through *******.com has been attached to this email (First attachment.)  

    When it was discovered the computer was no longer working I initially thought the charger may be bad so I purchased a replacement charger on Amazon on February 14th, 2023.  The charger was delivered on February 21, 2023.  I plugged the charger into the computer that evening and discovered the new charger did not fix the problem of the computer not turning on.  I sent a message to Tek Reburbs on February 21, 2023.  Attached is a screenshot of the e-mail which shows the date it was sent (Second attachment).  

    A few emails were exchanged between Tek Reburbs and I attempting to diagnose if there was something I could do to resolve the issue and I determined the computer needed to be replaced or returned.  Tek Reburbs told me they have a 90 day protection plan.  A screenshot of this is attached as well (Third attachment.)  I informed *********** I did not purchase the extended warranty through *******.com however I was within the 90 window and asked if I would return the computer to them directly, or *******.  The response I received stated "Unfortunately sending it back is not an option, you can contact ******* for more help."  I have included a screenshot of this email (attachment 4). 

    I attempted to return the computer through ******* however they would not allow me to return the product.  I sent another email to *********** advising them of this and asking if they were going to fix or replace the computer or if they were not going to stand behind their product even though it was within their 90 window.  Two days later I received a reply message that had no content.  I replied advising there was no message from the last email I received and asked Tek Reburbs if they were going to fix or replace the computer.  I received a reply stating I was over the standard 90 warranty period.  This message was from ******************* Ecommerce Manager for ***********.  I replied to *** telling it was 86 days from the day the computer was delivered to the day I sent my first email to their company.  This email was sent February 28th and I never received a response.  I have attached a screenshot of this as well (5th attachement).  I sent another email to *** on March 2 2023 asking if they were going to fix or replace the computer.  On March 3 2023 I received a reply from *** telling me again I was over the standard 90 warranty. 

    At this point is when I filed the complaint through BBB and posted several reviews of the company.  On March 6 2023, I received an e-mail from *** stating "If you want to rectify this predicament and get help with this, remove all complaints , reviews posted and we will exchange the machine post haste."  *********** has done everything they can to not honor their product and warranty and I have absolutely no reason to believe they would honor the word to me in exchanging the computer if I took down my complaints and reviews.  With that being said, I told *** if they replaced the computer I would then remove the reviews and complaint.  I believe this is a more than reasonable request, which was never responded to.  

    I have all e-mails that I exchanged with Tek Reburbs, however they are different strings or emails due to Tek Reburbs not continuing the same e-mail chain.  These emails can be provided to BBB as evidence everything I have said is true.  I did not initially ask Tek Reburbs to replace the computer as I wanted to ensure there was not something I could do to fix it.  When it became apparent that was not the case, Tek Reburbs has done everything they can to not honor their 90 warranty and have been extremely difficult to communicate with.  When it was apparent the computer needed to be returned, all I asked for was for Tek Reburbs to either fix or replace the computer, which is a more than reasonable request.

    Attached are the emails between Tekrefubs and I.  There are several strings of emails because they kept  starting news ones.  The last string of emails is out of order because *** from Tekrefurbs keeps replying to older emails, but all the emails are there.
