The incident I'm getting ready to explain occurred back in November of 2020 however, they have currently placed my information with a collection agency, which reported to the credit bureaus.I hired Bradley Mechanical to come and remove my air handler from a closet so another contractor could gain access to repair the floor. Once the contractor completed the repair, ******** Mechanical was to reinstall the air handler. When they came back to reinstall the air handler, they damaged it and never came back to complete the work. the initial amount to perform this service was $600. After forfeiting the services, they proceed to tack on an additional charge of $273 for additional labor that was not performed (attached). The $600 was in escrow for them to receive payment upon completion however, the attorney's office never paid them due to the damage and non completion of work. They turned over this account to collections now with an aggregate of $1033. They reported this fraudulent charge to the credit bureaus causing my 835 credit score to plummet 111 points. This impediment is effecting potential income of my purchasing an ******. They forfeited payment due to damage of my property and non completion of work. The new owner ended up paying to rectify the issue as one day she came home from work and water had spewed all over the floor. I'm attaching receipts of payment for services rendered to the correction of their blunder. Due to my credit score being in the 800s, needless to say, I did not obtain this by not paying my creditors. They would have seamlessly received their payment from the attorney had they not forfeited the agreement.Business Response

OK you liar lady, we were contracted to remove your unit, which was very old by the way, wait for an hour while the floor was replaced, and then reinstall it. Your floor people did NOT show up, which was why we added the $273 up charge, because we wasted an entire day and had to come back another day. You know this, so why do you post lies? The leak, was on the water coil, existing old unit, which developed a leak when it was moved, NOT OUR FAULT. We tried multiple times to contact you over this, for a period of over a year. You would not respond, even to emails and mailed invoices. You think you can get away with not paying for a job, I guess you thought you got away with it. You want your credit restored, then pay the bill, plus late fees, and interest, and collection fees. Otherwise, deal with it. I have pictures documenting everything, I have phone calls recorded. I have you recorded being a very nasty person, mean, for no good reason. You were trying to stick the new owner with an old system that needed to be replaced. To reap what you sow lady.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.By reading your response, it is evident that you lack professionalism and ethics by calling someone names. One thing you mentioned is accurate, the floor contractor did not show up however, when we discovered he wasn't coming, we arranged for you to come back another day, and not at one time was there any mention of any additional monies. You practice deceit as the air handler was not old as I had it replaced and if the water coil were leaking as you stated, then there would have been water spewing out of it when you took it out and placed in the corner, not to mention as you stated, you had to come back another day, so water would have been all over the floor. In addition, it wouldn't have been running and cooling down the house properly as it was designed to do that previous summer. Please keep in mind, you were there to remove and replace, and not there to repair, so your claim is false and have you ever heard of home inspection? It was due to your incompetence as to why the water coil started leaking because you broke it. There are several witnesses who viewed the air handler in the pre-broken state while it sat in the corner of the kitchen. I find it very interesting you didn't provide your proof you say you have. Your money that was sitting in escrow was out of my hands, so the invoices sent and the communication you had was with the attorney's office. I had one conversation with someone from your office explaining the circumstances of the situation, so I would love for you to produce this conversation to where I was being so called nasty. You are delusional at best. It appears we will not get anywhere by using this platform and the only resolve will be to go to court to where I can present ALL of my evidence and bring my witnesses including the Home Inspector that was hired to perform the inspection and not ONE citing was reported on it for the air handler. Nobody tried to cheat you, and if you would have performed the job as a professional and not damage my property without taking accountability, the money in escrow would have been released to you by the attorney.
Thank you,

June 14, 2024, Bradley mech came to my home due to my hvac not working properly. I was charged over $200 for a diagnostic I was told I must do for the warranty to be in effect. On June 19 repairs of ***** was done, the unit worked properly for a day or two then it started running **nt. and not **oling. A day or so, many phone calls later I was told if the problem **nt. into the evening they would make it right, and to call the emer num and a tech will **me out. He did June 21, found a leak on the high pressure switchstem and repaired it. I was not charged for this service as they made it right. The problem I have is within 6 mon. the system was again not working properly, the inside unit **nt to run and no heat. I called and spoke with a lady who refused to let me speak with a supervisor, told me the owner was in ******* and would be back in the new year, said there would be a charge to **me out, and if only the prob was a fault of theirs there would be no charge, they wouldnt be out till the end of what was a freezing **ld week, there would be an addl charge to **me sooner. I had a se**nd opinion from another hvac ** who found a leak on the high pressure switchstem. He added refrigerant and it is fine. It was the same spot as repaired June 21.After num messages I spoke with the owner and explained the situation. He was rude, and **ndescending. He said what do you want from me. He also played back the re**rding from when I prev called, I am aware in ** you can re**rd phone **nv. without the other partys knowledge but it makes you wonder what they are having to **ver up by re**rding the **nv. without stating they are re**rding. No worries because I spoke the truth then and now. After paying them all that money, the repair they made June 21 did not last 6 mo. causing me even more money oop. I want them to honor the work they did onJune 21, I want reimbursed the money I paid for another switchstem repair that Bradley didnt do right. They should honor their work.Business Response

So you want me to refund money on a repair we did 6 months ago ,that didn't even charge you to perform? And how do I know its a leak on what we did anyway, when you called out a different company to fix it.
I have a recorded phone call with my CSR stating, we come out and if we find something we did wrong, it will be no charge. But you chose another company. This is your fault. You know its a shame I cant sue you for defamation and lying.
But maybe I can, I will call my lawyer and see. And by the way, every phone call taken has a recording before its answered that states "phone call are recorded for training purposes", so another lie you tell in your complaint.
You are a fired customer, a typical *****, we will never service your home again. We have way to many honest customers to have to deal with someone that post lies

As better explained in the attachment, we hired Bradley Mechanical to install a new garbage disposal as we had an existing service contract with them. We were advised there would be a minimum service fee involved, which was presumed, and accepted without objection. Several calls (daily between the date of our original call and the date of service) to get an actual quote were not answered. Servicemen showed up on time. First asked if we got a quote; we advised, "no." They went ahead and did the installation; they were on site and I had already agreed to pay for the service call so I thought this was the prudent route to take. At the end we were billed $409.20 as we provided the new garbage disposal. The fee was for the installation and did not "roll in" the minimum service call fee.I filed an objection to this with Bradley Mechanical. They responded. The email is attached as pages 1 and 2 of that communication. As of this Complaint there has been no further response. We are not looking to get the installation for free. To do so would unjustly enrich us. Rather, we believe Bradley Mechanical should have not have billed us for both the installation and the service call as both were done on the same visit. Rather the amount of the service call should have been "rolled in" to the installation fee. We were effectively double billed without any notice from Bradley Mechanical vis-a-vis the request for an estimate, which was never given.Thank you. ****** (****) ********Customer Answer

He also agreed to using my contractor (J K R ********* ***** to complete the work. The work was completed in early July and now it is August 22nd and my contractor has not been paid. We paid ********************** Mechanical the full amount of the agreement, $7776.80 when their work was completed. ********************** Mechanical plumbers had to borrow my brooms, dustpans and shopvac to clean up their considerable mess each day.
