To whom it may concern,I bought a Lenox heat pump system for my house 9 years ago. I paid them in advance to service said equipment twice a year. Bradley Mechanical Company LLC, came to service my equipment on 7/20/22 Bradley went to the side of my house to service my heat pump. The technician came back to me saying the fluent was low in my compressor. The technician then said they could check my system for leaks for an additional $226.53. I agreed. The technician and his helper came back and told me I had a leak in my coil in the attic and 3 leaks in my heat pump by the driveway by the side of my home. At that time I was told I had no warranty left on my system. Technician said they could braze the leaks in the heat pump. The the technician then called his office in front of me. When off the phone he said the person he talked to said brazing those lines could damage the compressor and I would better off buying a replacement system. The next day an estimator came out and quoted me $13,000 to replace the system. I told the estimator I would have to think about it. On 7/22/2022 I had ************************ Heating and Cooling also a Lenox dealer come out for a second opinion . ***** conducted the same leaks tests and found no leaks. They told me the system has 2 years warranty left. I had ***** give me a quote to replace the same with new equipment. The quote for the same system was half of the Bradley quote. I was pleased with ************** and was actually told 3 of Bradleys former technicians now work for ******************************.Submitted by Ed *** *********************************************************** Thank you for your attention as it pertains to this matter.
