******** came to my house unsolicited and presented a monthly pest control service for $55 a month. I was told that they would email me a copy of the contract. Never received. When I called to question the monthly billing that I received for **** and that no one had showed up to perform this service, I was told it is a quarterly service billed monthly and to cancel will cost me $200.00 to cancel. Received 1 treatment and have been billed a total of $310.00. Total rip off.

Similar to the other post, a rep was going door to door in my area which is not uncommon for my area. Stated he was doing work in my area the next day and wanted to know if I would like a perimeter treatment and basic interior spray. What is uncommon is that I agreed because I usually never desire the services of door to door ********** I have ants so I figured a one time treatment wouldn't hurt and then evaluate the results. What was presented to me and what I agreed on was a one time treatment. The rep zoomed in on the signature box and stated I was signing to give permission to come on my property so not unreasonable. The second signature he explained was to charge my card $50 once the sevice was completed. Again, not unreasonable, and I firmly stated that no charge was to be applied to my card until the services were rendered. The rep stated the appointment couldn't be made without the card number. Against my better judgement I provided it. *At no point was a annual subscription mentioned or discussed* The rep DID NOT indicate or let me view any sort of annual agreement because of course I would have refused. This is a fraudulent bait and switch, there is no doubt about it. I have canceled my debit card and am in the process of collecting business license information to take further action with the county as a fraud case.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB against this company. I was approached by a sales technician who presented a fairly reasonable pest control program to me. I had many questions and essentially agreed to sign for the service agreement provided that the company would email a copy of my service contract to review with my husband. I made multiple attempts to obtain that contract for review without any response from the company. Eventually, I was able to reach someone in the customer service department who assured me that she would terminate the contract and fully understood the frustration and lack of follow through. Despite that, my daughter found the technician in the yard a week or so later providing the service. He had no knowledge that we had terminated when my husband arrived and confronted him. Again, I spoke with ***************** who expressed understanding. I paid the $50 for the services rendered (though not agreed upon) and stopped payment via my AmEx. Months later, I am receiving bills for $500+ for services not received. No communication, no response to my dispute and now am notified that it has been turned over to a collection agency. If you are approached by a sales technician, do not sign anything- it will be months before you are able to sort through the agreement. What you are signing is not what is being presented to you.I have filed complaint here and contested via the collection agency. Now I am doing what I can to make others aware before they make the same mistake.
