I attempted to make my own repairs to my HVAC unit and was partially successful but it didn't quite solve the issue, so I had Southern Trust do a visit to see what the final verdict was. **** ***** was my technician and within about 10 minutes of looking at the unit, found the issue. It ended up being a simple step that I missed when I made the attempt. Gabe was completely upfront about the problem, he didn't try to upsell me on anything but just solved the issue and I was just charged a nominal fee. The before and after photos are awesome so I have something to look to in the future. All of my HVAC tunings have been done by Southern Trust over the years and I will definitely continue to do. Thank you!

Called to have Southern Trust look at a non-working garbage disposal. Their rep arrived and never even looked at or tried to fix the existing disposal, but instead worked up an estimate to replace it. Since I had already purchased a replacement disposal, I expected an estimate in the $200 range since I knew it was about an hours worth of labor. Imagine my surprise when the estimate was for $649 with a discount of $100 for a coupon(?).. I politely pad the $59 service call and sent the repairman on his way.. An expensive lesson learned...NEVER use Southern Trust

The service expert noted the garbage disposal was leaking. When a garbage disposal is leaking, it can't be effectively repaired. The service expert quoted a new garbage disposal with a three-year warranty. The price quoted was accurate. Thank you.

We called Southern Trust for repair of a broken water pipe on Sunday. We were told that the travel fee would be $139 to which we agreed.
The serviceman arrived and informed us that the fee to repair it would be $1425.79. My
husband agreed to pay it as we needed water. We were totally taken advantage of. It was a choice between pay an exhorbiant fee or no water.
I would NEVER recommend this company. They take advantage of elderly and the need for water.

On Tuesday, June 20, our sales manager, Matt, spoke to Greg and Laura. Greg expressed to Matt that the customer-supplied faucets were leaking, and he believed the disposal was damaged when it was installed. Greg requested a service expert come out and check out the issues with the faucets. We're sending a service expert to Greg's house on Thursday, June 22 from 2-5 p.m.
Matt advised Greg that our service expert's work carries a workmanship warranty and if the issue is a workmanship issue, we will stand behind our work and fix the issue without charge. We need the service expert to visit with Greg and assess the situation on Thursday to secure an accurate understanding of what's going on. We'll know more after our service expert visits with Greg on Thursday.

Our kitchen faucet developed a large leak. The leak was large enough that water had came out onto our hard wood flooring. I called Southern Trust because we had used their plumbing services a few times before. I spoke with Dana, who was very helpful. Within an hour Jim ****** arrived at our home. Jim is an extremely nice employee. He gave us a couple of options to consider. We opted to replace the whole faucet. Jim matched our new faucet well with our kitchen. He was very proficient and quickly installed the new faucet. We could not have asked for a faster response or for a better plumber. Jim did a great job. Definitely 5 stars.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! I recently used Southern Trust Home Services to address an electrical issue I had at our home. The technician came out and identified that it was simply a breaker that had failed, and needed to be replaced. In less than an hour they identified the problem and replaced the breaker. However, then the technician told me the cost was $441. I asked why replacing a $10 breaker costs $441. He said he didn't know, and couldn't provide a breakdown. It's just what their program told him. I followed up by calling the company's office, and they too could not provide me a breakdown. All she could say was that the standard cost for a single 20 amp, single pole breaker replacement was $441.
So I did my own breakdown. Given the breaker cost $10 (**** ***** cost), that leaves $431 for 1 hour of labor, plus say worse case a 30 minute drive to my house, and overhead costs. Assuming that this electrician (a fairly young guy) gets paid $35/hr, and their overhead rate equal to 100% of the raw labor rate, then the cost for labor and overhead is $70 per hour. This would result in a cost of $105 for the 1.5 hours. If you subtract $10 (for breaker) and $105 (for labor and overhead) from $441, that leaves $326. That means the company made over $300 in profit on a $10 breaker.
Based on this, my recommendation to you is to NOT hire them for home services, but buying stock in the company because they certainly know how to turn a profit.
