      I just want to return and stop the monthly monitoring fee amounting to $49.99/month. I am past the 30day trial period and they said I need to pay $1400++ 80% of the 36month contract this is a ridiculous amount of money that they want from me. I won’t be paying 1400$ for a product I did not open and used. I didn’t even attempt to trial there equipment and sign up for the security monitoring. All are in a box and I just want to return it to them and have my money back and return to me the 150$ monthly monitoring fee I was charge for 3months.

      They are horrible, and likely run by the mafia! All of the horrible reviews that you read about trying to cancel are 100% TRUE. We have been dealing with the same nightmare since April. They keep trying to collect even though we tried to cancel and have been unplugged AND MOVED FROM THE LOCATION April 25th! They have provided no service whatsoever! They are claiming they were never notified until I canceled my card for the 3rd time to get them to stop charging me!! When they couldn't auto charge is when they finally called. They are like loan shark/mafia that will do ANYTHING to get you to pay. I had this service for 4 years and I wish that I had never signed up with them. I have never had such a terrible experience with trying to cancel and them continuing to charge. You are crazy if you buy anything from these corrupt criminals!!!

      I’ve had this security system for about 2 years. I moved about a year ago and have had issues ever since. I’ve been told the security system is just malfunctioning and that they will send a new one. Several new systems later and I’ve been told there’s not even a signal in my area. I’ve been charged 35.00 monthly and have yet to receive a refund and it’s impossible to cancel.

      No way to cancel service other than call, they want a one month notice which they wanted me to remember in a 3-year contract. I called 20 days before contract ends and I have to pay for an extra month. They say ‘it is in my contract’. Agent was super-unfriendly. I’m not going to them again.

      We have been with Frontpoint for 10 years. We have had issues with the equipment including the multiple times we had to replace the doorbell camera because it broke more than once. We had to replace the sensors and the new ones they sent were so big and bulky that they just keep falling off. Every time we have to call customer service it takes a day to get a callback IF we even get one. They extended our contract over and over again and I'm starting to realize why. They need to lock people in because their competition is so much less expensive. It's been very frustrating waiting out our contract and paying for nothing since we hardly use the system but we did. I followed the directions on waiting until August 1st to cancel but we were already charged. I was then informed that you need 30 days notice to cancel and that we would be charged again in September. This is a horrible business practice. If I cancelled on 7/31 I would have been charged and early cancellation fee. Having to wait until 8/1, as I was instructed, meant I would also have to pay for September. Nice trick Frontpoint! Then when I checked I saw 2 charges for August. They took the September payment a month early. When I called them on this they said, "Yup. That's what we do." I was asked if I wanted to transfer my service to someone? Why would I do that when I've been treated so poorly? Paying for August is somewhat understandable, but paying for September is just robbery. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. Ring, Simply Safe, and others are so much less expensive and do not lock you into a contract. Lastly, I sent an email to WeCare frontpointsecurity.com a week ago and never got a response. I see how much you care, Frontpoint.

      I spent 4 hours on hold to cancel my account and they would not answer. Completely ridiculous. Sounds like a need to send a certified letter reading the comments.
      They deserve ZERO stars.
      When will the BBB address this issue.
      Looks like a class action lawsuit is in order

      Do not even think about do business with Frontpoint. Read the following statement carefully:
      “Frontpoint marketing and financial practices are totally predatory, detrimental, deceptive, unlawful, and dangerous for consumers. Do not take my word see it by yourself on the testimonios below from some helpless customer that were misled, exploited, and unfairly treated by this home security system company. All these complaints have one single common denominator: Rip off.
      “They have made a name for themselves by offering unique packages and products that happen to be untrue, distorted and faulty, falling short on real expectation and delivery of services in good faith which puts them at the center of a lot of consumer complaints. Check some electronic articles that have been pulled together to show some legal actions and lawsuits taken against FrontPoint over the last few years so that you can learn more about different settlements and what these legal actions mean for you as a FrontPoint customer”.

      Take a look at the very composited, and intricate legal language used to address every aspect of their WRITTEN CONTRACT THAT LOCK YOU DOWN FOR 3 YEARS, especially on cancellation procedures. It is a very fabricated scheme elaborated in a devious way to conceal the truth fact, cause confusion and deter customer from cancel services. In addition, they have in place a fraudulent large-scale systematic electronic auto-payment which is arranged to overcharge customer in a monthly basis, even after months of cancellation, in despite of service failure, shortage, disruption, defective and overall low grade awful service. In my case, I sold my house, and I was literally forced to stay in contract or pay a whopping amount of $1,800 to be get out of it. Listen laud and clear, I cannot stretch enough that kind of larceny, misappropriation and thievery this company does. Please, report, take action and safeguard yourself from From FrontPoint.
