      NO stars. This company has horrible/non-existent customer service. I spent a lot of money when I purchased equipment and had a monitoring service for 3 years. I am now having issues with my equipment. I can't even control the volume on my equipment. They told me the only way I can control the volume on my equipment is if I purchase a monitoring contract again. I requested to talk to a supervisor and a supervisor would not even talk to me. Don't sell the equipment if your customers can't even access/use basic features like volume... and you don't provide any support or courtesy to customers who paid a lot of money for it! Do not use FrontPoint!

      Bottom line: this is a failing company who is desperately hanging onto customers by forcing them into contracts. Notice how many comments you see referencing trying to cancel and Front Point not allowing it or charging an outrageous price. Once you commit to a contract, they will hold you hostage and charge an absurd amount for any attempt at cancellation. Someone is going to reply to this message from Front Point stating "we are sorry.....we recently changed our process". They have not changed!!!! Do NOT use Front Point!!!! It's 2022 and they are making people sign contracts, once you do and decide to switch to a different security system because their equipment is unable to keep up with advancing technology they will force you to stay with a ridiculous cancellation fee (80% of your remaining contract payments). You have been warned.

      When I called to cancel, I had to wait on hold for 1 hour & 20 minutes before they finally picked up. If they cared about customers, they'd make it easy to cancel right on the website when logged in to your account (like many other, better companies do).

      I renewed with them for 3 years in exchange for their $99 camera (I'm such an idiot). My doorbell camera never worked properly, only capturing video a portion of the time. They claimed it was my internet connection and the distance my internet box was from the camera (I get 200mbps everywhere else in the house). After buying two extenders it kinda worked. This went on from the beginning but I didn't know any better. Every service call would be at least an hour.
      The doorbell camera camera completely stopped capturing video 2 weeks ago. When I called, the technician had me log into the app and their online site. After an HOUR AND TEN MINUTEs - she claimed there is something wrong with alarm.com that services them and she couldn't solve the problem to make my motion detector work or set any rules from my doorbell camera. In fact, the system couldn't even find the doorbell camera at all!
      They are supposed to get back to me. I want to cancel but they want to charge me $400 to buy out my 10 months remaining. The service rep claims they are living up to their end of the contract because they are monitoring. If I can't see who is walking in my door - what exactly are they monitoring? She claims "the sensors". My personal billing rate is $185 an hour - is that deductible from the $400 they want to bill me.
      In the meantime, I bought a Ring doorbell that captures video crystal clear. No problem with internet reach there. I have to wait 10 months or pay them $400 while I use a system that works.

      SCAM! Please do not purchase this system! They are very deceptive about their “contract” even if you don’t use the system.

      I have been trying to cancel my services since on or around march 22, 2022. I get run around form the company they keep hitting my bank account so i did a stop payment in June and they still refusing to stop my service my signed contract is well over and this was a junk service my doorbell has not worked since the 6th month of service! they dont even call my number they call my wifes and text her saying we owe back since june!!! i have reported to BBB and to my credit monitoring company on dispute and they still refuse to end service!!!

      I had very poor service with this company. My sensors did work and I had random false alarms when I wouldn’t be home. I called customer service and I all I could do was pay more for sensors that did not work accurately after being installed. I had a one year contract with Frontpoint and I e-mailed in writing more than 30 days prior, that I did not want to continue service after my contract expired. I received an additional e-mail by Frontpoint and I requested no service again. The company has continued to ignore my request.Frontpoint keeps charging me repeatedly and has threatened to put me in collections.

      They only have a 1.11 rating because people cannot leave a 0. Just like all the other reviews I have wasted days of my life with this company, and no resolution, they would not budge and never called back when requested--so many times--just awful, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND HEARTACHE AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE! They make it impossible to cancel, and when I try (blocking the credit card) they send a collection agency after you for less than $150.

      I have been a Frontpoint customer since I bought my home in 2019. Any time the alarm went off, police never showed up. Once when I was out of state and once when I was at work. Then when THEIR products malfunction due to nothing I have done, they try to charge me for a new sensor. I’m done. I am canceling my service and telling EVERYONE I KNOW that this company is CRAP!!!!
