I had *** come to repair water coming into my basement. They walked thru steps to fix issue and said could only be done by exterior work and would cover a 1 year warranty. Work was completed in October 2022. In June and July water started coming in again in same location on three consecutive rain storms. I called and service manager came out and saw where work was performed and even where some areas by his feel weren't done properly. Was told that they would make this right and fix issue. I just got email stating that the salesman who said that there was warranty did so on multiple other customers and as a result is no longer with the company. As a result was told they would not come back to fix issue. I spent over **** for this work and has been 8 months.

I contracted **** basement ******* in March to do some basement drainage and foundation stabilization work on my home. The crew showed up and started on the agreed upon date, May 2, and it took 3 days for the work to be "completed". The crew that came Installed a faulty pump, and never finished the connections to our outside drainage and also damaged my utility tub drain in the process, but they also damaged the sill plate of my home while installing the carbon fiber stabilization straps because they didnt drill pilot holes for the hardware. I was told by the job supervisor who at that time was ***** ************ that they were waiting for new brackets to come from the machine shop and they would come redo the straps when they came in. That's been over 2 months ago at this point and the contractor is not being responsive to calls from me or my fiancé, and there is still water making it past the drainage system and onto the floor in heavy rains. I'm truly concerned about the damage to the sill plate of my home and what problems that can potentially cause for me in the future, and the fact that **** Basement ******* does not seem to be honoring the warranty they offered.

They were supposed to come out to do my patio. The work they did was substandard. I got a call today saying they wouldn't be coming out today. This is a big disappointment. I can't use the patio until they finish the job. I called the office and have been hung up on twice. When I called the salesperson, he wouldn't take the call. The foreman changed what the salesman told me. I feel like it was a bait and switch. I have already signed a contract for ********* The foreman tried to sell me on a trench that would cost another ********* They put drains on the downspouts and the work they did isn't good. The downspouts aren't plumb.

Thank you from bringing this to our attention. We brought your concerns to management and after visiting with you, they have informed us that they would lift the patio in a few areas and that the drainage lines will be getting redone to straighted them and get then down to the propper depth.

On 9/3/2021 I had **** Basement ******* come out to my residence look at a water leak that was located in my basement. It was inspected by *** ********** I was told that the outside wall had to be waterproofed he gave me a price of ********** A deposit of ******** and ******** due at completion. Mr. ********* informed me the digging would have to be done by shovels because of the tight fit between the property. He informed me that the workers would arrive on 11/17/2021, they arrived on 11/18/2022 due to miscommunication. The area of 15' was dug out and the wall waterproofed, the area was covered and the workers were paid the balance. No one came to check the work, so I assumed it was done correctly. After a heavy rain at the beginning of May 2022 I called** to inform them my basement was still leaking, they sent someone out on the 19th of May 2022 to inspect the basement, after the inspection i was told the work was not guaranteed. That was not communicated to me at the beginning. If that was the case, i would have found someone else!

Had ** ***** come out for a quote for my basement. I was quoted a price of ******** That price was including a water proof system with liner and basement gutters, a triple pump sump, a dehumidifier. I emailed the sales representative to change the sump pump but was told they couldn't do it. Was told it was supposed to be a 3man crew and take 3 days but it was a 2 man crew and took 5-6 days. The water proof liner has the warranty voided due to improper installation. Have holes in the liner, some liner isn't fully secured. Wasn't taught how to use the dehumidifier. The gutter system has one section of basement taped at the bottom but the rest of the work isn't taped. A lateral line for water drainage was supposed to be installed and run straight to the sump pump. They had to put a 45 degree bend in because of poor absent layout diagram the sales representative made. I removed shelving for them to work in a area and noticed a crack and hole in my foundation, they then had to fix it and install braces with brackets. My new total of work was $**. The brackets have some loose that I can move by hand which is not good. Some brackets are not even done correctly due to them not being complying vertical. There are 2 braces that are slanted away from the wall and they happen to be the ones I can move by hand. I also needed an outlet installed so they hired a company to come out but when I checked the work I noticed he left my breaker box undone which is a FIRE HAZARD. For a basement that's getting water inside and for the breaker box that houses electrical wiring is very unacceptable. Some of the gutter system had tape left on top and had concrete covering it as well so I was told I could simply do it myself. I had to use a knife and do the work that took 2hours to fix their mistake. I would love to have them to have the work fixed and paid for by the company. It is very upsetting that this happened to me while I am Active Duty Military.

Date of contract-5-3-22, scheduled 2 day installation, which was scheduled to start on 6-13-22, per ****** *************** Field Inspector. The work was not completed in two days (5 days) and was not accurately completed. Windows were broken, items not installed and water came into the basement during the rain on 6-24-22. I have sent pictures of the incomplete work, to ****** as well as ****** who I believe is the production manager. We have been without a washer and dryer, a dehumidifier, that is not hooked up, and pumps that run all the time. On June 2 a large 22 yard dumpster was delivered to our driveway. When the 3 gentlemen left on Friday, June 15 they stated the dumpster would be picked up first thing Monday morning. It is 4 weeks later and it remains in our driveway. We are unable to walk on our driveway, using the neighbors grass for a walkway, or use our garage. I have text messages from both ***** and ****** always promising to make things right. Today, our anniversary, we sat and waiting for a confirmed date that the "A-Team" according to ****** would arrive at our home after their morning meeting, approximately 10:00 AM. No one showed up! I called and left a VM for ***** and he responded with a text that he was in Virginia Beach. The work remains unacceptable, incomplete, and 30 days of our summer plans cancelled, waiting for someone to come and complete the work. While this company has completed much more satisfactory work. Two broken windows have not been repaired, a water pipe leak that the second crew found that should have been repaired during the first installment was just cemented over. My family has suffered stress, incompetent work, our original contract was for a 2- day job and it was ** days, of not having anyone contact us with our concerns, making appointments to visit our home, and waiting to have no one show up. In those ** days, we were unable to have use of our washer and dryer, thus having to take laundry out, ** days of our summer put on hold, fishing trips canceled because water came into our basement after the first crew supposedly completed the work. This entire summer has been wasted on a project that should have been more closely supervised, management responding and not constantly avoiding calls, or promising someone would be coming to our home. Unfortunately, after no responses, we set a deadline for a response from the company and at that time filed this complaint. I feel that due to lack of qualified workers (with the first crew) that worked for an entire week, the entire system, concrete and window wells needed to be replaced, another 3 days of work in our home. I feel that substantial monetary damages should be compensated for the ** days of pain, suffering, lack of company response from a variety of management levels. We have lost ** entire days of our summer that if the second crew or supervision of the first crew, could have been completed in 2 days as per the contract and ****** our salesman.

      Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/08/02) */
After discussions with ***** on July 27 we discussed financial amounts that 38 days of pain, stress, work for a ** year old customer, incomplete work, and non contact from a variety of *** employees. ***** offered ****** for compensation and we stressed that we have had extreme stressful 38 days of double work, noise, and no driveway or garage access, due to a large dumpster, provided by their company for 38 days. We stated that we felt ****** was a fair amount for time, incomplete work of their contract, two days commitment, per ****** our salesman that continued before the second crew completed the work after 38 days. ***** stared he would get back to us by Friday, July 29 because he was unable to make that monetary determination. Again, just like in the past, we heard nothing from ***** on Friday, July 29. I contacted him, just as we have had to do so many times in the past ** days. We have personally taken out one broken window, another broken window, broken by employee RJ, was taken out. I have struggled to get the other window out and finally was able to have the windows replaced last Friday and have not been able to get the one window back in. The stress continues. I feel that ****** reimbursement is not a large amount for all the we have gone through in the past ** days. Thank you.

After a couple bids, we decided to use FRS for the piering needed for our house. We prearranged the financing and the work was scheduled for April. On that day, the weather was threatening. Our home sits against a lake with a very steep back yard. We had warned the contractor about that and also requested that the workers bring only their very smallest tract/excavator. They brought the big one, which posed two problems-it would not fit under the tree and was much more likely to slide down the hill when it rained. After an hour, the workers decided to leave before the severe storms came in. WE UNDERSTOOD AND SUPPORTED THAT DECISION. A new date was set for about 2 weeks later, again the rain forced a postponement. For a third time, the workers arrived ( we had emphasized the need for the small tractor) and the work was completed. (they did have to remove the housing from the tractor to fit under the tree). As expected, the yard was a mess. We were told the ground needed to settle before they could complete the finishing. We were assured that the the "dirt work" would occur in a reasonable period of time. However, several weeks passed *** the work was postponed again. Finally, a crew arrived (with a very small tractor) and the work was completed. The dirt was filled in and smoothed and grass seed was spread. We attempted to keep it moist amid the severe heat wave in June. However, the ground developed several deep holes, so we had to discontinue watering. We attempted to contact the company. I left 3 messages in 2 days and got no reply from the main office. I then left messages with the line supervisor and still got no reply. My husband left a very angry messagenothing. I have emailed the line supervisor and WE STILL HAVE GOTTEN NO REPLY! It is as if the company has ceased to exist. We need to know if we are now responsible for the holes in our yard or if they will follow up on their work. We are paying over ******* for this work and we really want some answers.
