    ZERO STARS is what I hosting service deserves when they eliminate a CRITICAL feature without ANY customer notice before or after! November 2022 Webhostinghub eliminated SendMail a/k/a #!/usr/bin/perl which is WIDELY used to process website forms. Been using it for 20+ years on order pages on my biz websites. Webhostinghub action caused me UNKNOWN $$$$ in website orders I NEVER received for over 2 months until I discovered what they did and they admitted it.

    We didn't explicitly stop using sendmail, but a change was made a few months back in an effort to combat Spam and improve email reputation. The  change was made to the email service (exim) which only allowed outgoing email from domains that exist on the server. Since sendmail would use the unauthenticated [email protected], the email service would reject the outgoing email. Customers that need to send out email need to authenticate with SMTP otherwise the mail would be blocked. This ensures their emails will actually deliver and also maintains a positive email reputation.

    We are sorry if this has caused any issues for you, but it was done to ensure that emails being sent through our network were not engaging in illegal Spamming.

    If this change is not something that will work with your hosting needs, please reach out to us and we can help with the cancellation of your services and process a pro-rated refund for the unused time left on your service.
