    *****'s installed a Fujitsu multi outdoor unit in Aug. 2020 for $5500. Turned the a/c unit back on July 2021 and there was no refrigerent in the system; he claimed copper fitting leaks. Turned the a/c unit back on May 2022 and again no refrigerent due to additional copper fitting leaks. ***** mentioned that there might be bad copper lines that needed to be replaced after adding more refrigerent. Experienced the same issue again in May 2023. At this time, he advised he could not look at the unit until August. I finally contacted another installer who checked the system; it needed a new coil at a cost of $1353. May 2024 unit again had no refrigerent. Was advised that copper and insulated lines be replaced at a cost of $1450. Conclusion was it was a bad install.I contacted ******* and their response was the installer never notified them of equipment failure so they would not cover the additional expenses.
