A bike tour in ********* was booked 11/2023. One month prior to departure the president of the company called to inform me that my name had not been added to the roster, the tour was full and my trip was cancelled. I was a returning customer. No offer was made to compensate for their mistake. They refunded the cost of the tour ($5,400). I filed a claim with Nationwide, with whom I had purchased travel insurance, to cover the cost of my flight ($2,400). The claim was denied because a trip cancelled due to a tour companys mistake was not covered. I contacted Sojourn regarding the issue. They denied assistance.

Sojourn made every effort to resolve the situation. As a last resort we refunded the full amount we collected. A week after the refund, we had a cabin open up and called and left a voicemail for her to join the tour which she never responded to.
The customer bought the travel insurance from Nationwide for her airfare. Sojourn does not book airfare for customers and cannot take responsibility for what the customer procures. ********************** has no control over what the customer bought as travel insurance. She asked for a documentation that we provided to her that she was refunded the whole amount for cancellation, Sojourn is no way liable for any third party cost that the customer procures on their own. This review should be deleted and not affect Sojourn in any way.
