I purchased a $120 moisturizer from Tata Harper and decided it wasnt a good fit for my skin type so I sent it back to return within their 30 day return policy. They said they would only be able to give me a store credit rather than giving me the money back because their policy states All approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method - credit card, Paypal or Afterpay. If this is not possible, such as a deactivated credit card, please contact your bank directly for assistance, or we will issue a store credit.I had to cancel the credit card I bought the order with because of fraud. I explained this to Tata Harper but they said they couldnt give me the money and can only do store credit because it poses security risks not issuing the money to the original form of payment. Tata Harper issued me a store credit on July 18th, 2022 with a 9/30/22 expiration date. As stated in their policy I contacted my bank to file a dispute because I did not want store credit. I told Tata Harper that I was filing a dispute with my bank. My bank deposited the $120 refund into my bank account on 8/4/22 so I thought I had received my money back but it turns out my bank only did that temporarily as a provisional credit while my bank was investigating the dispute. On 10/4/22 my bank reversed the $120 provisional credit from my account because the investigation of my dispute claim with Tata Harper concluded that the transaction was valid. At the point of me finding out the $120 my bank deposited in my account was only a provisional credit it was too late for me to even use the coupon Tata Harper issued me because it expired on 9/30/22. I asked them to issue me a new one because that one expired and they are refusing to. I returned my product within the 30 window. My refund is valid. I sent my product back to them that I paid for and now they want to keep my money? Thats not right and I should either be sent my product back since I already paid for it or they can issue me a new store credit.I also dont understand why they cant give my bank the money. Going through my bank would be VERY secure. Their policy even says to contact your bank.If I knew any of this was going to happen I would have never returned the package in the first place. Tata Harper has $120 of my money and I have received nothing from them in return.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my is***s and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

Since Tata Harper was unwilling to file a claim for this parcel, I contacted ***** and ***** opened a claim for me. Since then, the item has been located and is in transit.

DO NOT EVER call me a liar and accuse me of doctoring documents again or I will *** for defamation. It is clear that you did not care to investigate what happened and I had to spend my own time and resources trying to locate the package. Horrible business practices.
