      I have tried to work with this company for years on my account with them. For a while about 5 years ago there was a payment plan in place and I was able to relatively easily contact them by phone call with any questions or concerns. Then early July 2021 I was locked out of my account with them and could no longer make payments. I tried calling and emailing to get help and got no response for years or anything in the mail. Fast forward to May 29 2025- my first paycheck with a new job is on hold from my bank with zero warning. Again nothing in the mail- bank could not tell me what happened. Tried calling and emailing this company yet again with zero answer until finally a call was answered two weeks later. After many hoops its been revealed that a legal hold was filed by them in a county I have not lived in since August 2022/ a state I have not lived in since September 2024. Unfortunately the worker was incredibly flippant and rude to me when I explained how difficult its been to get ahold of this company. Absolutely refused to work with me despite my willingness to work with them and then transferred me to their company lawyer who still hasnt returned my call. I now have to get a lawyer involved due to how this entire situation has been handled (or not handled) by this company.

      After contacting ******************************************* in attempt to explain hardship, case managers refused to accommodate in any situation. Shortly after our conversation, I started to receive threatening calls from unknown numbers demanding $25k to be paid by end of the week. The unknown callers did not specify if they were calling on behalf of Suttell, however this problem ariased shortly after our conversation with *******************************************. I continue to receive calls daily about making payments to an unknown source and continuously demanding money.

      I got hurt and wasnt able to work so therefore my wife didnt pay her credit card bill because rent and food was more important to my family. These people sued us. We paid the full amount. And they still garnished my wifes paycheck and refuse to send the release papers to her work. They sent the garnishment paperwork to her work before we had our allowed time to respond. They are not running this company correctly or legally. They have done numerous things wrong in handling this claim. They are rude on the phone and hang up if you get upset at all even though they are the reason Im upset because they cant do their job correctly.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      this company has lied multiple times in their response. This company gave me notice for garnishment said we had 28 days to respond and immediately sent it to my wifes work and did not allow any time for us to respond. This company stated that they did all sorts of communications, but we did not receive any communication from subtle and hammer until a person came to our house to serve my wife papers. Their statement about April 16 is false. We called their office when we got the paperwork for garnishment. they did not answer the phone so they gave us the option to pay online we went online to pay. It showed two total amounts. We tried to pay the higher of the two amounts, but their website refused to let us it would only let us pay the lesser amount. On their statements about the 25th they lied on that as well. The man I spoke to did not hang up on me. The phone call ended after he forced me to pay the remaining $57 that they refuse to let me pay before on the website.

      this company also stated that we only gave them the email address on May 12. I gave them the email address on 7 May but they obviously didnt do their job correctly once again they said they mailed the notice on 30 April if thats the case then why didnt her work get it? Why was she garnished twice before they supposedly got any money or paperwork? This company does not do business correctly. They do not do business ethically either. Once again they have lied multiple times in their response. I would expect more from a lawyers office.

      I tried reaching out to the owner, but he refuses to reach back out as well because he obviously doesnt care about customer service either just like the rest of the employees there.

      predatory attorneys. served my papers to my boyfriend and not me. took a case from ****************** of my unpaid debt and i was not even made aware that my account was closed or that i was able to be sued for this.

      I have emailed the attorney of record, ***** *** ***** and ********************************** regarding reference #s/h *********** with Suttell and Hammer.I have emailed them numerous times requesting a temporary pause in process service with no response at ****** trying to resolve my debt to the best of my ability, however I cant do that if they dont respond. Please expedite and resolve this situation immediately. Thank you.

      These people garnished my mother's account for a collection debt of my ex-husband. He was never on this account. I divorced him 5 years ago. They garnished 2 seperate accounts of hers. I have tried to contact them, to no avail.

      The law firm ******************************************* APC has been persistently contacting my mother, attempting to assert the validity of questionable contracts in an effort to file a lawsuit for a debt that does not exist. Despite having conditionally accepted their claims on multiple occasions, they have yet to produce any agreement for inspection that substantiates a legal relationship between ******** ****** and their firm. Furthermore, their possession of my mother's private information raises serious concerns about the possibility of identity theft, as they have no legitimate right to access or use such personal data. Their actions demonstrate a troubling disregard for legal standards, personal privacy, and the rights of senior citizens. This behavior is both unprofessional and unacceptable. More documentation upon request

      This alleged debt, which was charged off by ***********, has been unlawfully sold to **************************** P.S. in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and relevant consumer protection laws. My personal and financial information was transferred without my authorization, which constitutes a breach of privacy under federal regulations. Additionally, the repeated visits by ****************** to my residence are harassing and inappropriate. *** ************** representatives have knocked aggressively and obnoxiously on my door multiple times, even after being informed through my Ring camera system that no one was home and to leave a message. They have also spoken to my pedestrians and passer ***** as recorded by our home surveillance, revealing my personal name asking for my where abouts, which is a clear violation of my right to privacy and may be considered an unfair debt collection practice under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). In light of these unlawful actions, I request the following: Immediate cessation of all communication and collection attempts by Capital One, **************************** and ABC **************. Any further contact will result in legal action.Removal of all personal and financial information related to this debt from your records, as well as any third parties you may have shared this information with.Confirmation in writing that you have ceased all actions related to this debt and removed my personal information from your records.

      THIS BUISNIESS IS REPRESENTING "***************", I RECIVED A LERTTER FROM " ********************************* NOTIFING ME THAT THEY WERE TAKING ME TO COURT. I CALLED THEM RIGHT AWAY TO OBTAIN MORE INFORMATION AND PROCEEDED TO MAKE A PAMENT. " ******* " AND I CAME TO AN ARRAGMENT FOR MY ACCOUNT AND BALANCE. THE TOTAL BALANCE WAS ORIGENALLY $9,200, WITH THERE ADDITIONAL FEE'S IT WENT UP TO $11,000 WITCH I AGREED TO PAY. I MADE A PAYMENT RIGHT AWAY OF $5,000 (JULY 26 24), WE AGREED TO A SIX-MONTH PAYMENT. THE REMAINDING AMOINT ($6,000). THE FOLLOWING MONTH I MADE ANOTHER PAYMENT FOR THE AMOUNT OF $2,000 (AUGUST 26, 2024), MY NEXT PAYMET WAS ON SEPTEMBER 29, 24, $1,200. FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, I TRIED TO MAKE A SMALLER PAYMENT BECAUSE ON AUGUST 26, 24, I PAID MORE THEN THE MINIMUM AMOUNT IN THAT MONTH. I GAVE THEM A CALL TO SEE WHY I COULDN'T PROCESS A PAYMETN, THE REPRESENTETIVE WHO ATTENDED TO ME WAS VERY RUDE AND WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO MAKE A SMALLER PAYMENT ($400). I EXPLAIND TO THE GENTALMEN THAT I HAD MADE A BIGGER PAYMENT IN AUGUST AND THAT WOULD HAVE COVERED ME IN SEPTEMBER. THE REPRESNTETIVE TOLD ME THAT IN THIS CASE ANY EXTRA PAYMNETS DID NOT COVER ANY OTHER MONTHS AND I HAD TO MAKE FULL PAYMENTS EACH MONTH OR MORE. I EXPLAINED I COULD DO ONLY $400 SINCE I OVER PAID AND BEFOER I COULD FINISH SPEAKING HE SAID " NO " REPEATED THE SAME EXPLINATION AND HUNG THE PHONE ON ME BEFORE I COULD OR COULD NOT MAKE A PAYMETN. I FELT VERY DISRESPECTED AS THIS IS NOT A PROFETIONAL OR RESPECFUL WAY TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER WHO IS MAKING A PAYMENT (SMALL OR LARGE). I HAVE ONCE AGAIN TRIED TO CALL BACK AND MAKE A PAYMENT AND NOW THEY NOTIFY ME THAT THEY WILL BE TAKING ACTIONS TO BE SENT TO COURT ALL OVER AGAIN, OUR AGREEMENT IS PAYING MY DEBPT IN SIX MONTHS REMAINING BALANCE OF $4,000 FROM THE FIRST PAYMENT I MADE. OUR SIX-MONTH AGREEMENT HAS NOT YET BEEN FINISHED AND I HAVE MADE PAYMENTS SINCE WE FIRST SPOKE, IT TOOK ONLY ONE REPRESENTETIVE TO DECLINE A PYAMENT AND FILE ME AWAY TO COURT!

      Im paying on a debt that does not belong to me. Im a victim of identity fraud by past room mate. Im just about done paying it. My first payment was due on 6/24 and the letter barely went out in the mail on 6/21 but per sora the letter had been went out! Complete lie! Sora was rude and lied about dates and hung up in my face. I called back and got **** at ext 137, I told her I want to get this paid and over with! My min payment was 986 but I told her that I have more to give abd if its possible to pay 3000 now and have the other 3k paid off before 1/2025, I asked her if I can skip aug paymebt cause I sent in everything I have and she stated thats fine cause Im way over. I have been trying to call for weeks now just to confirm the received another 2k and no one answers! Its been weeks and no one calls me back or answers my calls. Im paying a company that **** even answer me. I try calling at all hours more than 10 times a day! Office says open online but they dont answer. I need my balance and to confirm they are receiving payment!
