Am single and an introvert thought this would be a good way to practice some social skills and meet good people.During registration and interview for this group the membership was presented has flexible with statements like you can go off or freeze your membership.I joined last year but got busy and travelled a lot but still paid monthly membership fees, though I have NEVER been to any of their events. So, I called to unsubscribe, with then goal to subscribe at a better time, only to be told I can't unsubscribe, followed with constant threats; that if I don't pay them off about $1,200 for the membership my details would be sent to collections.

Similar to th last review, heard about it on the radio after a brake up and thought it was a good idea or knowing the bad practice of the company, was never told about the cancellation policy, made it seem like I can cancel at any time. Shame on them praying on vulnerable people. Wrote them an email with in the first month to cancel and they avoided me like the plague. They lie to get you hooked on contract. They need to be sued!

After getting my divorce, I was interested in meeting people face to face in a public setting, rather than doing the online dating sites. So, while doing a ****** search, I found events and adventures. It seemed like the perfect thing, so I reached out and was scheduled a zoom meeting, which is basically an interview to see if you are "a good fit" for the program. The questions are basically tailored to see how well off you are, but they also want to assess whether or not you have a criminal history, etc. Their reasoning for all this is that they are basically vetting you for the other members. Well, I went ahead and paid a lump sum for my contract because supposedly, I would have saved money doing that verses the monthly payments. However, there is a small clause in the contract that you have 3 days to cancel the contract and get your money back, and I am talking well over 2000 bucks. Well, it would be very unlikely to schedule one of their events for your first event within 3 days, and I wanted to go to the newcomer's orientation event which was over a week out. When I went to it, I did not find it to be something I wanted to do again. They had promised that there would be provided food, but it was just nachos, like something you might get at a movie theater, and the whole event, I found to be a bit cheesy and annoying, so I really just wanted to back out and get my money back. But, they are telling me that I am over my 3 days to get a refund, so I am making credit card payments to try and pay off over 2000 bucks on my credit card, and it's just money out the window.

I saw their ad on ******* and decided to give the a try. Scheduled for an interview via zoom on August 11 of 2023 with their employee, ******, and honestly it all felt rushed and aggressive, pressuring me to sign up and join them, who said that she wouldnt answer any of my questions unless after I sign all of their contracts which apparently included an 18 month membership paying $149 per month. And upon needing to cancel due to work related issues, they are refusing to terminate my account due to an owing balance $2278.00. These people are misleading, dishonest and unethical. They dont do ANY refunds for ANY REASON under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Dont get involved with E&A, they are a SCAM. This is the biggest regret of my life.

I saw an ad for this group over the summer and thought "Perfect. A way to get out the house and meet people." It was advertised to me as a way to get out and make friends. I had to do an interview and at the end of it they tell me that the monthly dues are $150 a month. And that's the discount price. If I have to get off the zoom meeting and think about it, it'll be $300 a month. This was very predatory and scam like behavior for a service that claims to promote a healthy lifestyle. I go to a few events and they're very hit or miss. And you have to pay extra fees. Sometimes at $100 extra for events that just aren't worth the extra price. Then I had an incident with one of the members harassing me outside of one of the events. And they involved the police. Filing a protection order against me for trying to get them to leave me alone. I had to go to court and the judge essentially told me to just stay away from them and the temporary protection order was dropped. The contract that I signed said I had three days to cancel. But it also said my bank is allowed to cancel. And there is a stop payment for this charge. It also says the group can cancel a membership for inappropriate behavior. Meaning they could have canceled their membership for harassing me or canceled mine seeing as there was a protection order filed against me for them. The group can also cancel after 15 days delinquency in payment. And even after all of these very valid reasons to cancel, they're still hounding me to settle the account. E&A claims to care able the health and safety of their members. This is a lie. They only care about getting your money at the end of the day.

Absolutely a horrible company. ******* told me Id be able to sign up my membership with unlimited pausing so I could start and stop services and we discussed how I planned to use the services and pay for them every other month. However, that is not what the fine print said here I thought that they were a reputable company that would uphold what I was told. ******* wanted to make the sale and said theyd make a special exception, if I was willing to do it, and I believe them. They continue to bill me every single month when *** tried to dispute the issue theyve been very rude and refused to uphold what the agreement was. ******* no longer works with the company coincidentally, but they wont give me any of my money back, I tried to work with the company for months, resolving the matter, and they just continue to charge me each month eventually Ive had to change my banking in order to stop them from charging me, and now theyre sending it to collections, which will damage my credit . I will take the hit on my credit, though, because they will not get one more ***** from me.Ive never been to a single event or used their services in anyway. They dont care what their rep did and have been extremely difficult to deal with and rude. When trying to talk to the resolution person, he even went as far as to pull up the file from when they first have you fill out what youre looking for and why youre interested in the company Id fill out a questionnaire on how I wanted to get out there and find love, and you would think that the company who is doing that would to help people instead he read back my answers mocking me just like a ha ha ha we got your money. The way theyre handling their business is absolutely disgusting.I would definitely not recommend this Company to anyone

Agree with all 1 Star comments. The idea of the service Events and Adventures claims to provide, sounds great, during the sales process. Once you start the experience, it right away seems as I bought a tricycle for the price of a ******** with no ability to return the purchase. The sales model is to go directly after the vaulnabare population of single people, with an emphasis on breaking out of loneliness. Expectations set during the sales process for Events and Adventures do not match the reality of the service. Additionally, during the sales process they gain your trust and rush you to sign right on the call. I don't recall being encouraged to review financial details of contract terms that pertain to me.

Please do NOT join the club. *** had a horrible experience from day one and they won't let me out of the contract although I had pleaded with them on numerous occasions. The club is not what the advertisement shows. *** attended multiple events, on the first event instead of welcoming me, everyone kept to their own groups and I was getting weird looks all over. No one was friendly or wanted to initiate a conversation with me. The host kept entertaining random people and did not make any eye contact with me, although I was standing next to him the whole time. I ended up leaving the even I paid $78 for. In addition to the monthly fee, no events are free, you have to pay anywhere from $100-$200 per event, even meeting at an establishment such as a bar, you have to pay $10.Majority of the people in the club and I don't mean any disrespect appear not to focus on their grooming or well being much. Most of them are either overweight, unattractive and personality wise appear boring and selfish. They discuss their personal issue and complain a lot. Only one event I attended was a bit fun because we were playing games and not interactive with each other much.I met someone outside of the club while being a member, I can honestly say that I would not date any male member of the club. There was only one person who seemed to appear well educated and fun, however, he did not care much about his appearance. Most of the members are above 40 years of age, which is not an issue for me, but according to the pictures this is 20+ club, not really!!!!!!

I have been a member of this club for almost 2 years now. I was extremely hesitant to join in the beginning because I did not know what to expect. I can honestly say that joining this club has been one of the best decisions I have made so far. I have done so many things that are way out of my comfort zone. I experienced sky diving, horseback riding, hiking, and so much more. I even did one of the trips offered during the year. Most importantly, I have made some great friends throughout my time in the club. Our club manager, *****, also put her heart and her soul to make sure that the members feel comfortable in the events. If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. To anyone still unsure about the club, hopefully this review can enlighten and reach you, I was hesitant also, but trust me, joining this club has been great to me. I want to thank our club manager and our amazing hosts, for keeping the events well planned and organized.
