  They took a years worth of my money $114 a month and I was not able to use. *** had a death in family and caring for a disabled roommate. I asked to stop charging me. They quoted my cancel in 3 days of pay balance of long contract I never read. This is the canned response Ive gotten over and over again. I guess Ill have to get my attorney involved. Disgraceful unethical service. Hello! I am following up on the request to cancel your membership. I have checked into your account and noticed that you are past your cancellation deadline. I have included a copy of that part of your membership agreement for reference below:CANCELING YOUR MEMBERSHIP. Any cancellation must be in writing by certified mail, return receipt requested. Any membership sold outside of our physical offices can be canceled with one hundred percent refund by sending us notice in writing within 3 business days. Here are your options since you are past that cancellation window:You have the option to freeze the use of your membership -freezing will not stop your payments, only add time for you at the end of your membership We can offer a settlement of $1200.00 on the remaining balance of $1595.40 that can be accepted in 1-3 installments to close the account (they already have over $1200 of my money - and Im broke due to life circumstances) Lastly, we can offer to adjust your monthly payments from $113.96 to $75.00 until the balance is paid in full THIS PART IS A LIE. THEY'VE PERFORMED NO SERVICE FOR ME. We understand this can be a hard time for everyone, and we are doing our best to assist our members and continue to be able to provide excellent events both in person and virtual.   I went on the hike today. It was my first event. And I swear those people seemed like the breakfast club. True enough everyone was welcoming. But everyone was really screwed up on some level. The substitute teacher who has gone on 60 events and lives off his parents. The conversation about how people were on Ritalin. The absolute silent people who looked at me like I was in a freak show. And the ending where everyone said I have something else to do I dont want to go get coffee after I blocked off time to do so. This is certainly not what I expected.

  I have signed up for this company and hadn't even attended a single time and paid 5 installments of 140$ each along with 300$ down payment. I thought of cancelling it came to know about this scam. They want me to pay 1600$ as settlement to get out of membership which is very unfair

  This organization advertising itself as professional events manager for professionals and they are anything but professional. Their staff are rude and disrespectful and untrained. The atmosphere during events lack diversity and cohesiveness. You pay premium and then you are paying for events separately and at the events you are sitting miserable and alone. Non of the commercials are real, and the collect all the premium in advance with no resolution for dissatisfied customers

  First and foremost at the reading these reviews, Events and Adventures is definitely not a scam. I've been with E&A for about a year and a half now. I joined right after the pandemic ended. I got accustomed to staying in the house and not going out even though everything was back open. My cousin told me about Events & Adventures and I joined. I have done so many things for the first time I would have never done without joining. Since joining I've been on all of their camping trips! There's a lot of great people in E&A, and the good balance between men and women.

  Saw them on a ******* ad and said WTF why not, best decision. If you don't like planning but want to do things events and adventures got you set. They do all the back end work, you show up make friends, form relationships and participate in some of the most memorable experiences of your life. From subtle stuff like book club, happy hour to fencing class, archery and even some extreme stuff like skydiving and shark diving. You'll have a blast.

  Events and Adventures is one of the best social groups I have joined. I never have to worry about not having something to do or having someone to do it with. This group has helped me develop strong friendships and increased confidence.

  Great people, fun events and *************. I am glad I joined. E&A is great for people who moved to a new city or just looking to expand their social circle or if you like trying new adventures and dont like planning.

  Best thing I ever did two years ago was join Events and Adventures! I have met some of the best people! I met my best friend through this group! Wouldn't have happened without the group. I have been to events and adventures I would have never gone to before. Sky diving, adult camping, slip and slide kickball, art classes, adult prom, ropes courses, bubble soccer and human foosball! Just a few of the many activities I have been able to do since joining. You get what you put into the group. If you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and open up to the possibility of meeting new people then this is the group for you! Take a chance of making new friends and exposing yourself to new experiences! I don't regret signing up and I hope to remain in the club as a lifetime member! The event coordinator and hosts will welcome you and be there for anything you need to make your experiences better. They are professional and understand how nervous one can be as new member. That was my biggest concern, but within my first event, I felt welcomed and excited about the group. Best investment I did for my social life, my mental health and my bucket list!
