!!! Putting out a warning. This business is a SCAM. DO NOT give them your information !!!1) Youre required to schedule for an introductory presentation on the company, what services they do and provide, and what membership levels they have. The meeting times are scheduled for 1.5 hours.2) You will receive multiple text messages from the company asking all sorts of personal information about you. The will ask for your name, age, marital status, how much money you make, where you live, etc. 3) They will text you late in the game, letting you know that your meeting is in fact a one-on-one with someone purely going over what membership level is right for you. Oh, and that Memberships are $150 - $200 a month. Oh, and that there are no trial memberships, only year-long memberships. Oh, and that you need to pay the full $1,200.00 membership fee all up front the day of your presentation without any actual information given about the company/club or guarantees.4) The Zoom meeting link for Events and Adventures is a dead link (or at least the one I received). Sure, you can put it on your calendar, but their is no actual Meeting Link to click or Meeting ID. Its a dead calendar invite. *(which, may actually be spyware or malware).5) When I texted the person Ive been messaging out on this, ********, they refused to respond to me messages. When I called, they didnt answer and proceeded to block my number.

I had the unfortunate experience of joining "Events and Adventures," and I must say it was a complete waste of time and money. This company promises exciting events and the chance to meet interesting people, but in reality, it's nothing more than a money-grabbing scheme.First and foremost, the financial aspect of this service is outrageous. They demand thousands of dollars upfront, followed by a $30 monthly fee, and then some of the events charge you extra to attend. It's like they are squeezing every last ***** out of their members, leaving you feeling like a walking wallet. To make matters worse, their cancellation policy is ridiculously unfair. You have a mere three days to cancel after joining before you're roped into this financial nightmare. They are fully aware that it takes time to truly understand the value (or lack thereof) in their service, yet they purposefully trap you in a contract with very little room for reconsideration. But the financial aspect isn't even the worst part. The people I met through "Events and Adventures" were far from the interesting, like-minded individuals they promised. Instead, I found myself surrounded by individuals I would never willingly associate with in my normal life. It was a collection of people who seemed to have nothing in common with me, and the awkwardness of these encounters was simply unbearable. In summary, "Events and Adventures" is a company that preys on the vulnerable desire for social interaction and adventure while robbing you blind. The exorbitant upfront and monthly fees, coupled with event charges, create a financial burden that's difficult to justify. On top of that, the people you meet *** not be the kind of individuals you want to spend your time with. Save your money and look for social opportunities elsewhere; you'll thank yourself later.

They market that it is a great way to meet people and date, but the ratio is off. All events that I have attended were mainly women, no men! If there were men, it was 2-3 of them. Most of the events are in **, with limited parking, and you have to pay extra for certain events. If you are looking to go to a social event to meet and date, this is not the organization for you. If you want to meet new people for FRIENDS! It's perfect. You can make as many friends as you can with this agency.

Events and Adventures of ******************* was involved in a class action lawsuit during the 2020 covid pandemic, where the company continued to collect membership fees without providing any events. The contract that we all sign says the will provide at least 15. In the wake of a global pandemic E&A refused to put payments on hold let alone cancel memberships. the man who filed the class action had lost his job like many of us and was struggling to pay rent. When he called to cancel the membership he was told no, and that he would be charged for next month. According to the contract, the only way out without paying them in full is death or permanent physical disability that makes you unable to participate in events. If you can recover from your disability in six months, E&A states they have the right to refuse your cancellation still collect from you and give an "extra" 6 months. The plantliff in this most recent class action also alleges that the company violated the ********** Legal Remedies Act, the ********** Unfair Competition Law, and *********** False Advertising Law. He also asserts that the company breached express warranty and contract, negligently misrepresented its service, and committed fraud.E&A was also involved in a class action that settled for 1 million dollars (that their insurance paid) after illegally recording interviews with prospective members.I have included this in my review because i think anyone who may be looking into this company needs to know exactly what kind of company they are and the business practices they participate in. All of this information is public knowledge..This company, from my personal experience still to this day holds its bad business practices. I encourage anyone who paid for services over 2020 to look into this public information as well.

Events & Adventures claims to provide professionally organized, local events to meet other singles. They justify the cost of their membership due to this professional management, and claim that they provide many events free of charge. In reality, many of the events are "organized" by them only in the loosest way possible, and would have been free to anyone that showed up.As an example, they offered me a ************** night" at a local restaurant that they've organized, "free" of charge. The local restaurant they chose has had ************* night on a weekly basis for years. And of course its free to go, that's how every restaurant works. Restaurants charge you for food and drinks, not to walk in the door. And of course, E&A did not provide any food or drinks to its members. Additionally, the hosts they have at events are often volunteers, not professionals. I went on a hike with them where the host was completely unprepared: she did not realize that a hike would involve hiking up a mountain, and did not know where the trail was. Another time the original address the host gave me for an event was wrong. When I finally got to the correct address, I called the host numerous times so I could meet up with the group, but got no response. That evening, I got a text from her apologizing and saying she had forgot to check her phone. This is the level of "professional" management you get with E&A.The worst part is that it is exceptionally difficult to cancel your membership. You have 3 days from the time you sign up to present them with a certified letter stating your intention to cancel. In my case I ended up moving across the country for a new job, to a city they don't operate in. I've repeatedly provided them documentation showing that I no longer live anywhere near where they operate, but they are still refusing to let me cancel the membership. They're charging me monthly fees to attend "local events" in another state, which I could not possibly attend.

Id give it a negative review, but thats impossible. It is a scam to get money off of people. DO NOT SIGN UP!!! They only have a 3 day period to cancel afterwards, which NO ONE informs you of. It is not even in the document you sign. But even when you tell them to at least take you off automatic payments, they still do. Ill be talking with a few lawyer friends about these soulless a*******

If anyone asks, DO NOT SIGN UP!!!.This is a scam. They trick you into a 2 year menbership, they don't give you time to think it over. They say they are giving you the best price available and that if you don't sign up now the deal is over. They never mention a 3 day cancelation time. The people at the meetings already have their own clicks. Is impossible to cancel this menbership. You will be stuck paying the whole menbership even if you only went to one meeting. Pleaseeee do not sign up! Do yourself a favor.
