A very official notice came in the mail with huge lettering stating: PENDING TRADEMARK *************** claimed that YOUR TRADEMARK IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE: JUL 17, 2025 It is not. The earliest this trademark could be renewed is July 17, 2027, two years later.Someone not paying attention could think that this is an official letter from the US Patent Office. It is not (the disclaimer is buried past the half way point of the one paragraph). The similar dates could fool someone. The price for their 'service' is $1,800. I think the renewal is $350 at the *****, and it takes about 15 minutes.

I received a letter for "Pending Trademark Cancellation" - The envelope said OPEN IMMEDIATELY - and it does not say that it is not a government notice on there. It also says Patent & Trademark Office on the top which could make you believe that this notice is from the actual Patent and Trademark Office. Since I registered my trademark in 2022 and we have 2025 now I was a bit confused since I should be good for 10 years... They want $1170 to renew and I am sure they would not even renew it for you even you paid them (which would not be necessary for me for the next 7 years anyway) .. SO be aware of this scam!

I received my "Pending Cancellation Notice" for the registered trademark and it looks very official. However, the amount due ($1800) is outrageous and caused me to follow through a bit before taking action. The address is for the P&T Resource Center, LLC. That means it IS NOT the US Government P&T Office that holds my official trademark. Do not be misled! Double check mail you receive before sending money to any entity.

****! Sent a letter claiming that my trademark had to expire, and asking for $1,710 to renew it. The name "Patent & Trademark Office," is a clear attempt to trick people into thinking this is an official notice from the *****. Whoever is running this scam should be arrested.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Attached is the letter sent to me. Keep in mind my earliest renewal date is October, 11 2025. This letter and email brought on stress and urgency to rectify a lie. Do your research, and contact the ***** directly. l Action Required!I trust this email finds you well. This is **** *** from the **** Trademark Office. We are writing regarding your trademark application for --------------- (Serial No. --------). Unfortunately, your application was abandoned due to a lack of response to the office action issued by the examining attorney.Currently, a conflicting party is applying for the same name. Due to the abandonment of your application, they can proceed to claim ************ a courtesy, the ***** requests that if you wish to retain ownership, please raise an objection and confirm your intention to re-file the application. Upon raising an objection, the conflicting party's claim will be rejected, allowing you to maintain ownership of the mark.If you choose to reclaim the ***** please reply with the best time and number, and I will provide a quick consultation on how to move forward and reclaim this brand ********* regards,**** *** Senior IP Paralegal | Litigation Officer **** Trademark Office

Scam operation. They send official looking letters from "Patent & Trademark Office" when really any payment goes to these scammers and not the US agency.

SCAM!!! They should face a lawsuit. They steal the governments name and mislead people for money. I hate these people. Please find something else to do.
