  I have a DMC M72D sidecar attached to a 2012 Triumph Scrambler which now has over ****** miles on it, and it is spectacular. After reading the previous posts, I feel compelled to share my experiences with ***, at DMC Sidecars. He always went out of his way to help me on every occasion that I did business with him. Every time I stopped in, the whole crew would come out to admire the sidecar. If any needs were found they would drop everything and take care of me. I couldn't be happier with either the quality of my rig, or the services provided to me by *************** Carriages.Sadly, *** has recently retired, and *********** (of WA) has been sold. It is now DMC of *****. Thank you ***, for you lifetime of service to the sidecar world!

  Amateur workmanship and fraudulent business practices send many customers running from this company.I asked DMC Sidecars to do work on my wife's 2008 ***** Goldwing, and attach a sidecar that I owned to this bike. While the work of attaching the sidecar to the bike was not the best, the real problem was in the wiring mess they made in connecting the sidecar wiring to the bike's wiring.Once I had the newly assembled rig home, within 18 hours of it arriving home, I removed the seat of the 2008 ***** Goldwing to find a rats' nest of wiring that was dangerous at best, and lethal if not corrected. I immediately called *** on the phone, and told him that I would PAY him to come to my shop....50 miles away from DMC's shop, and have him look at the mess they made of the wiring on the bike. His answer was that they had all the materials in his shop to make things right. If that was true...why was it all done WRONG ?I returned the sidecar rig to their shop that same day, arriving around Noon. *** looked at ************** mess of wiring under the seat, threw a fit, went into a rage, and promised me they would make it right. I only insisted that the amateur that worked on it the first time, doesn't work on it this second time. He assured me his BEST guy would do the work.# 1 mistake.....the BEST guy didn't check all the systems to see what was working, and what was not working, before he started cutting wires. BTW, all of the lights worked before I brought it back to their shop, just that it was a rat's nest of wiring, and things were NOT correct as to how to properly wire systems together.After 5 hours of their BEST person working on re-doing the wiring, he was not done, and when we checked on him, only 3 of the 5 lighting systems worked.So, ***, and I, and another mechanic got into helping this BEST mechanic, and after another 3 hours of work, we got things back to where everything worked, but it was still NOT a clean job...still needed to be done properly.

  This review and the other 2 filed the same day after nearly 20 years of no reviews are due all three of these people being kicked off of an online forum for unethical behavior. Pretty much all of this persons issues were self-induced and delt with over 5 years ago. He was so unhappy that he brought us another rig to assemble a year or so latter.

  The real underlying issue is that the first time he came in, he was offended that I had no idea who he was and when I found out that he thinks he is somehow famous for having ridden ***** Goldwing's for over 1 million miles I was not impressed, I found it a bit sad and still do as this meant he drove right past a lot of really neat places to spend time and I still have no idea why I should have known who he was for doing this.

  DMC has been ripping off and producing substandard products for years. Simply ****** DMC Sidecars and find the adventure rider motorcycle website. Do business with theses bottom feeders at your own risk. If you choose to do business with D M C Sidecars in *******, ********** and get ripped off by ***, just remember you read it here first. ****** DMC Sidecars because where theres smoke, there is fire. Youve been warned.

  This person made this review as retaliation for being kicked off of an online platform for unethical behavior. We had nothing to do with his being kick off the other platform. His bike was sent to us from another shop that was not able to finish the work. We built him exactly what he asked for. When he was not happy we built him an entirely different sidecar at a loss of nearly $10K to us in an effort to make him happy. In the end he wanted his dual sport sidecar bike that we built for him to handle like the heavy touring bike he was replacing. With out a significant larger investment you are never going to make this happen. It would be like making a jeep handle like a sports car. For two years after we were done we still tried to help. Some people just can not be made happy. Perhaps the reason the first shop never finished the work.

  Having done business with 4 Sidecar companies located in the US, and one in Europe, I can absolutely state, with no reservations, that I will never again do business with DMC Sidecars, as I found the owner of DMC sidecars to be a pathological liar, employing incompetent people that are not qualified to build the products they sell, and never willing to admit or acknowledge their own errors.DMC Sidecars is a fraudulent front that steals from the unknowingly innocent customers.

  This is the same person in the first response just using a different name. As such not a unique person.With 10's of thousands of very happy customers it only takes one or two who are not happy unless they can make them selves the center of attention on on line forums by complaining. He was kicked off of one of his favorite places to complain an on line forum due to unethical behavior. We did not ask to have this done. So as he can be more of the center of attention, he had to find another place to be the center of attention.

  Just reviewed the response from the business in this matter, DMC Sidecars, and I believe they have me confused with someone else, another former customer. This is my ONLY complaint filed with the BBB against this company. I have not filed a complaint under a different name, as this is my only name. And I am not on any Internet forums, so it would be impossible for me to be kicked off any forums. This company has obviously confused me with another one of their customers that is also not happy with the work that was performed there, in an attempt to show there are fewer complaints.I stand by my original complaint regarding the Fraud being perpetrated by this company.
