I have never written a negative review but feel this is warranted. I had not had a sleep study in years and looked for a new provider to get my cpap supplies. I was able to get an appointment quickly which should have been the first warning sign. The provider told that I needed a new sleep study in order to get a prescription for supplies. I followed the advice of the provider and took a 6 day sleep study with 2 different machines. After two months, I received almost $3000 in bills! I was shocked. When I asked about the bills, they said that my insurance didn't cover it. After researching the details, I found that they charge you $300 each night that you are sleeping. They do not disclose this ahead of time as you are led to believe that the $250 deposit for the sleep equipment is the fee. I asked if they had a discount for self pay and the billing person said they did not do that. I feel it is completely DECEPTIVE practice to charge people to sleep and not tell them they will have a huge bill before they take the test. Their billing practices are excessive and they only give you 120 from the day of service to pay! However, I did not receive the bills until two months after service. When I asked about this they said they would send me to collections after 120 days from the date of service. I took a loan to pay the bill in time so I would not be sent to collections. This company has excessive billing practices and do not care about people who are trying to pay the bill. Please beware of this company.

My baseline sleep study was conducted at Sound Sleep Health in the ***************** I have since relocated to ******** and I'm trying to establish sleep medicine care here. In order to do that I need to have my baseline study sent to my ******** provider. But Sound Sleep has lost my baseline study. Don't do business with this organization. They have no accountability.

Sound Sleep never billed me for months, then once I decided to cancel the program and I returned the apnea equipment as it didn't help me, I was billed over $3k, when I asked for a breakdown or itemized list I never received one. Then within a month or so was turned over to collections and sued.Do not ever do any business with this company!

Sound Sleep Health represents everything that's wrong with the health care system, I called to get a new subscription. I was told that even though I had a sleep apnea diagnosis, I should take another sleep test in case insurance wouldn't pay for it. ******** and said okay. Told to do home sleep test for two nights. Instructions arrived with directions to test for 3 days. Called the office and asked which was it, 2 or 3 days? They said 3. Nobody told me how expensive that would be. Over $1000!! I continued to get bills once I had paid in full. I spoke with ***** in the billing ***** who said there was a professional charge and a technical charge. The charge was for each half hour Tele-med appointment I had. Really? I continued to be billed. I questioned the charges and got the run around. Double speak. Made no sense. Finally called my insurance company and had the representative speak to ***** while I stayed on the line. Still made no sense, but the short of it was that I was owed money. Never came. Called my insurance company and we spoke with ***** again. Same run around. This time my insurance rep concluded that they had overcharged the insurance company by $700. ***** was supposed to submit a corrected claim after this conversation. I'm sure she never did. I asked for a copy of all my charges and payments since the bills are sent online. You can't review the bill after a certain amount of time so I wanted a paper copy. Never received. After I had made my payment I received calls to schedule my follow-up. When they answered the phone I expressed my unwillingness to follow up because I was unhappy. No expression of concern. Sign that they know of their shoddy practices. This for profit group is deceptive and speak in circles around billing. Get paper copies of each bill. Aside from this review I will be filing a complaint with the ** state Insurance Commissioner.

For about 6 months I have been trying to resolve a billing issue. Getting someone on the phone or getting someone to return an email is like pulling teeth. Their customer communication is HORRIBLE. On top of the poor communication, I was overbilled and they will not work with me at all I have been trying to pay them the correct amount for 6 months and they have for the most part, ignored me. They now, out of the blue, are threatening me with collections.
