      My issue started in April 2024 I purchased a transmission and was told that it would have a warranty when l received it after 8wks it was rusty with broken parts owner ** ***** said that it was inspected by himself and was fine and stamped with his approval l asked to return it but was told that l could not,all conversation and interaction saved in text messages. I installed it and immediately it was defective l brought it back to be fixed and was told that warranty wasn't available because I had it installed in a jeep. I paid him 1800 in July and was told in text it will be ready end of the **nth. Second week in August was told parts still not ready 2nd week of August was told he ordered wrong parts. 2 wk of September was told parts are delayed because of storm. I asked for transmission back and **ney returned he said it would be ready last Friday l went to pick and would get **ney back in payments l went Friday to get transmission but was told that it wasn't there and was sent out . Trying to get a resolution with ** got me nowhere and was told that if I called or text again I would be brought up on charges for trespass. I've had my brother Crispin try and help me resolve this also and he was told that I could pick up transmission and get **ney but as l stated when I tried l was told transmission wasn't there so l can't get it back. I have zelle proof of payment and witnesses to everything I have stated to be true to best of my knowledge and proof through texting. My attempt with last claim was closed by BBB saying business was no longer open but I was just there. Thank please help

      I have complete text saved with communication with owner starting since April 2024 I bought a used transmission was told it has a 6 month warranty when I got transmission it was rusty and had a cracked bell housing and the pilot sleeve fell apart. I asked for my money back because I wanted to go with something better ** ***** owner told me that he inspected it and it was good even tho parts were broken and I couldn't return it. After having it installed it didn't stay in gear and when I to ** he said that if I paid 1000 more he would pull it out and fix the problem due to labor . On my way to his shop transmission froze up and had AAA tow to a shop within my tow area. The shop pulled transmission and said it was a total loss and l need to bring back to original person for warranty. ** said that I voided warranty because I put it a offroad vehicle. Wouldn't return it because he already had labor in the assessment. Paid another 1800 for rebuild and he stated that it would take 3 wks . It now 2 1/2 months and said that it will be another 2 wks or longer due to storm on wast coast and shipping is down.

      October 2023 had transmission replaced here with a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty. The first transmission installed failed after 200 miles. Moe (owner) told me the pump failed and he had a replacement transmission installed. Moved to Rochester NY. I noticed a fluid leak from the replacement transmission. I took the truck into East Rochester Aamco on April 24, 2024. Was told the transmission needed to be replaced again. Through several conversations with Aamco and the shop owners (Vanessa for East Rochester and Moe for Everett) I was told it is the originating shop owner’s responsibility to obtain a replacement transmission. Moe told me on April 26 that he was ordering a replacement. As of today my truck is still at East Rochester Aamco awaiting replacement as the transmission has not been ordered yet. Moe is not honoring warranty. Seeking assistance to get my truck fixed.

      Please explain your complaint in detail:
      Dropped off my truck to have toe rear main seal repaired. was told 2 to 3 days. Was quote a price of 800 to 1200 dollars. two days later received a call and was told it was going to be 2400. we debated the price and came to 17.025 dollars as a proper price considering I agreed to adding the repair of the small leak on the transmission pan to be addressed. After many delays and the fact that the exhaust was cut then welded back on after the faulty repair. This process took eight days and many delays, being put off. I paid the bill and went home about 5 minutes from this shop. As I exited the vehicle then I noticed the damage. I immediately called and went back to allow him to see the damage. This was on the 14 th. Was told he would have to review the video footage and would get back to me. I received a text at 9 pm of some blurry pictures and he claims the truck left with no damage. I have eye witnesses that can attest to the fact there was indeed NO damage and that there was no incidence between the house and shop in the 20 minutes it took to discover the damage. As it stands. I'm due to take it back to them for warranty/ It still leaks. And he's Not going to repair the damage with out legal recourse. I did make a formal complaint to the Aamco corp office the following day with pictures. on I believe the 15th. My next step is to file a complaint to the BBB and then on To small claims court.
