I had Aamco in Everett, replace our failing transmission. It failed again and they replaced it. Had the oxygen sensors replaced, they failed and they replaced them. Had the catalytic convertor replaced, it failed and they replaced it. The check engine light always came on when even when things were replaced twice.
My wife asked A.I. & it said our car may have a fuel line air leak. I replaced a loose gas cap which sealed the air leak. The check engine light turned off. We spent thousands on oxygen sensors and a catalytic convertor and a new $12 gas cap was only needed.
My first day at Aamco in Everett was Jan 2024 & I resolved the problem in May 2025. We went a year and a half in and out of the shop and had to borrow a car every time it was in the shop. I emailed the Aamco corporate office 3 times. They said keep taking it back because everything was under warranty.
The oxygen sensors and catalytic convertor may not have need to be replaced which cost us thousands of $$. A little research and they would have found the $12 problem.
Do not go to the Aamco on Rucker Ave in Everett WA.

I brought my vehicle for a transmission repair *** is the manager and I dealt with him the whole time. They put a rebuilt transmission in that was$6000 I got the car back all the tires did what they are supposed to so I thought but now the car feels like it wants to rip the front end apart when you turn it I said something to *** and he assured me that it's a AWD vehicle it's supposed to do that well I asked him what about the $2200 transfer case I just bought from you could that be the problem he again reassured me that he got me a good transfer case wasn't too worried because the transmission had a 12 month warranty ok moving on the car was having a heating problem so I took it back to *** he tells me it's the water pump and sense the water pump had the timing belt on it he said it'd be a good idea to change it sense your at the milage marker to do it and the cam also that was$2225 so I agreed thinking that'd save me money down the road. They said they fixed it so I go pick it up bring it home and my goes to drive it the next morning and the heater doesn't work when I brought it home it was summer and I didn't turn it on anyways we take it back to *** it sits at their shop for 4 weeks trying to figure out what is the problem so I was told turns out it was a plastic baffle that broke so they ordered one from out of state they have my car for another week they get the part and go to replace it and they are finding more broken stuff so *** suggested a new heater box assembly that was another $1000 we waited another 5weeks to get the car back the heater doesn't work right it's throwing a code for the cam and timing belt and the front end still feels awful I couldn't believe it and I was not about to bring it back to *** I traded the vehicle in got a $1000 for it but I owed $9500 just the worst place I've ever had my vehicle worked on and *** really made it seem like he was going out of his way to help me out doesn't feel like it. I traded it in at Everett *******
