The lease started on Sept 1, the leasing company retained a lawyer 2 days before lease start date forcing me to sign a *** document which was brought to my attention first time was 12days after signing the lease. I was threatened several times about denying me housing because I am not signing the *** which was never informed to me before lease signing by both of us. It has been 5 days, they charge me rent but denies entry into the unit.

Re: Harini Sridhar- we tried 3 attempts to move her in but she couldn’t bring the  move-in funds to complete thus we have to canceled her lease. All her part payment were refunded back to her and the lease is canceled. Hope the above is clear and if you have any questions please let me know.

I am rejecting this response because: All the time I had the deposit completely and they acted like he was having a heart attack and called the ambulance (but drove home himself). Initially they agreed to digital payment for the deposit, at the time of move-in they refused to collect payment electronically, using that as a failure to provide physical "money order" as a reason and deny me keys. Please find all the attached communication and the video of the agent on purpose elevating his heartrate and refusing to step outside, yet claimed feeling threatened by me. If he was able to drive home himself, then he could have stayed back to do the move in. I sympathize with the agent if he truly was in suffering even though he refused medical care it was Anthony's responsibility to make alternate arrangements. This has been a case of discrimination based on my status as a single mom and DV victim. They approved me and then pretended like I was under false impression of being approved for this house. They also hired an attorney who ill-informed me of the law on purpose. They caused me severe stress, emotional stress and financial loss.

    Sincerely,

    Harini Sridhar

Attached are our proof of refund for your records.

The Lease has been canceled per our email stating that since we have made 3 attempts to move her in but she couldn't and don't want to pay the final move in funds, the lease will be cancelled. After we refund the full amount, that shows that we have fulfilled our obligations and don't owe her anything. We have not claimed her for our loss opportunity and loss of rents due to her delaying and not paying the move-in funds. After our refund, she didn't want to sign the release letter after she agreed to the final sentence in her email below.

Dear Mr. Christopher Cutting, Mr. Anthony Amp, and R&J Property Owner,
I am writing to provide you with two clear options for resolving this matter:
    1. I can transfer the remaining deposit, and I need the keys to the property by this afternoon as I have movers scheduled.
    2. Alternatively, we can settle the lease-related issue in court. Given that you have legal representation, I request that my full deposit be returned to me by the end of today. I am open to receiving the funds via Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal—whichever method is most convenient for you.
This needs to be resolved before the weekend ends, as I do not have a place to stay starting tomorrow. I am providing you with one final opportunity to resolve this matter amicably. If this continues to be delayed, I will be forced to file a lawsuit, which will include significant damages given the inconvenience and the injury I am dealing with.
Your unwillingness to accommodate or make any necessary adjustments has been deeply troubling and, quite frankly, abusive. Please decide how you wish to proceed: either by providing me with the keys today or by returning my deposit immediately.
I am prepared to sign the move-out lease agreement if you can guarantee that my funds will be returned by the end of the day.

    Regards,
    Harini Sridhar
